    Boa noite,

    Cumprimentos.

Windows 10 will be completed this week

Microsoft keeps wending its way past the mile markers en route to getting Windows 10 out to the public on time.
The software titan is putting the finishing touches on the operating system software and will finalize its prerelease development by July 10, The Verge is reporting, citing people who claim to have knowledge of the company’s plans. This version of Windows 10, called “release to manufacturing,” will then be sent to PC makers to be bundled into their products.
Windows 10, which is slated to launch on July 29, is Microsoft’s big opportunity to make up for the missteps of Windows 8, which arrived three years ago. While Windows overall remains the dominant force in desktop operating systems, running on over 90 percent of computers worldwide, according to NetMarketShare, Windows 8 dramatically failed to catch on with consumers and businesses — it has mustered just 13 percent market share worldwide, far behind the 61 percent share for Windows 7 and just barely ahead of the now ancient Windows XP.

Windows 10 10163 Screenshots Surface ahead of RTM Build Release this Week

Microsoft released three Windows 10 PC Preview builds to Fast Ring members last week. This was followed with the release notes of a fourth build, Windows 10 10163. Windows 10 10163 screenshots too have leaked out today (shared below) bringing no new features but some important bug fixes. However, today’s important advancement has been the availability of Windows 10 10162 to the Slow Ring members.

Slow Ring Insiders are finally getting some love from Redmond today in the form of Windows 10 10162 as those users can expect to receive the new build today. Once you have updated to the 10162 or if you need some reasons to make the move, here’s what new changes did Windows 10162 bring in. The major new update in the build is a tip feature. This feature, when you switch to tablet mode, will direct you to the Get Started app highlighting all the new features.
We also saw leaked Windows 10 build 10163 release notes thanks to the notorious leaker WZor. He has now released a ton of leaked Windows 10 screenshots of the same preview build. No major differences are spotted in the build, however, it’s interesting how WZor has upgraded from the Home Edition to Pro to Enterprise without any hassles.

Microsoft has released Windows 10 10162 ISO in several languages. You can expect more stability in the upcoming insider builds, if any. Microsoft is ready to release the final build on July 29. Check out our guide to see when you should expect the Windows 10 adorning your PCs. We have already seen reports confirming that the company is working on the final copies of Windows 10 RTM (release to manufacturing) build which is expected this week. However, as Windows 10 is based on a service model, RTM build won’t be a huge milestone but just an update as compared to previous Windows versions.
Leaked Windows 10 screenshots (build 10163):

Microsoft Xbox Music Becomes ‘Groove’ In Windows 10

Xbox Music will not be a part of Windows 10 since Microsoft has renamed the service ‘Groove’. Groove will be available in Windows 10 PCs on July 29 and it will be a part of the next preview build for Windows Insiders. Anyone who has an existing Xbox Music Pass will automatically receive a Groove Music Pass.
The music service will be available for $9.99 or $99 per year for new customers.
Some people have noted Groove and Groove Music Pass use the same name as Groove: Smart Music Player, a music app, that’s on iOS, Windows 8, and Windows Phone. From what we can tell, there is no connection between Microsoft Groove and Zikera, the startup responsible for the music player app.

Windows 10 for mobile no great shakes

    Suppliers are still not enthused

While many Windows 10 to spark an interest in the PC and Notebook market, mobile makers, who should also see a knock on effect are not enthused.

For those who came in late, Windows 10 will run on a PC and mobile devices leading many to think that it will be super cool for businesses who want to integrate all their devices.
However mobile device makers have held different view about the operating system's benefit to the notebook, smartphone and tablet markets.
According to Digitimes notebook players have placed a great hope on the Windows 10 release, smartphone players are rather conservative about Windows 10's benefit to them and have not placed much resources on related development.
As usual Digitimes is talking to “unnamed suppliers in the Far East” but it does confirm that Microsoft has a long way to go before it can convince people that its mobile version of Windows 10 is worth getting out some products for. On paper at least, it should do better than Digitimes has predicted. We would have expected that many businesses would like to get shot of the highly fragmented Android and get something a little more stable, which plays nice with their networks and security.

Latest Windows 10 Build Improves Battery and Performance – Screenshots

Waiting for the Windows 10 RTM build to release? If earlier insider reports are to be believed, we will be seeing it tomorrow, July 9. However, while you await more RTM details, another build has been leaked out giving us some more screenshots to look at.

    More of Windows 10 gorgeousness:

Microsoft is signing off on the release to manufacturing build this week, possibly tomorrow. This essentially means that the design changes and features we have seen in the latest builds will remain in the final version of OS. After RTM, Windows 10 will be in a kind of lockdown. While it would see changes over time through the apps, RTM build usually shows a stable, final version of the Windows. Now considering that we are about to receive the RTM build, you can stop expecting any major changes, new features, or other improvements from the upcoming insider builds. Today’s lot of Windows 10 10163 screenshots also doesn’t show any new additions as compared to the previous 10162. However, it does brings with itself the reports a very stable and fast experience with increased battery life.

We also saw some Windows 10 Mobile details leaking out earlier today. With a few screenshots, some details were also shared of the build that might be released after Windows 10 RTM is seeded out tomorrow. Here are some of the Windows 10 Mobile 10158 details if you missed them earlier in the day:

    • Smoother than the Windows 10 Mobile build 10149
    • Windows Store now seems in final session as BETA label is removed
    • Windows Store has now a transparent tile
    • Microsoft Edge also has a transparent tile
    • New animation in People live tile
    • New version of Wallet app

According to Neowin, this current build runs quite well with fewer bugs, no app crashes, improved battery and more stability. Remember, this same build was leaked earlier in the week with release notes and some Windows 10 screenshots making way to the interwebs. Here is gallery of all the Windows 10 screenshots of build 10163.

Windows 10 RTM Build NOT to Come Today – Release Now Expected Next Week

We reported earlier that Microsoft was going to release the Windows 10 RTM build today, on July 9. However, disheartening as you may find it, Redmond has put it off to a later date.

    No Windows 10 RTM today!

Several sources had claimed that Microsoft was readying to release the RTM (release to manufacturing) milestone this week. Targeting July 9 for the release, we are already half way through the day. According to new reports again citing the “sources inside the company,” it is not likely for Microsoft to release Windows 10 RTM today, in fact, it will now release the build in the middle of next week. You shouldn’t be worried if you are the end user as the July 29 date of final release seems fixed and a delay of few days in the RTM milestone release won’t affect the final release date. However, for insiders these next few days might feel like an excruciatingly long wait as they are always in for some new changes and features.

Not everyone will get Windows 10 on July 29 – Check our the roll-out strategy

Windows 10 RTM build is considered an important milestone because this build almost mirrors the final product. Hence the process of signing off on the RTM build takes a lot of steps and of course, time. Microsoft wouldn’t want to release a build to manufacturing that is full of bugs or has significant issues. While we will definitely see more updates coming to the operating system in the later days, RTM is still considered a very important milestone as it’s easier to perfect everything at hand rather than sending patches later on to the OEMs.
If you are craving for some Windows 10 deliciousness, you can check out this package containing high-res Windows 10 wallpapers. For the Windows 10 Mobile enthusiasts, here are the latest leaked Phone screenshots showing stability and a polished UI. Don’t forget to check out Windows 10 10163 build screenshots too.
