LG Looking To Stand Out By Launching The LG G4 In April Claims Insider

With the Samsung Galaxy S6 and to some extent the HTC One M9 dominating news these days, another Android flagship also due this year has been left out of the mix. Compared to the Samsung and HTC flagships expected at MWC, the LG G4 (http://wccftech.com/lg-g4-leak/) has seen relatively few leaks and rumors. Well, today’s not that day it seems, as the an alleged LG insider has spoken up about the company’s upcoming flagship device.
http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/LG-G4-Rumors-635x423.jpg (http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/LG-G4-Rumors.jpg)LG G4 Coming In April According To LG Insider Quoted By Korean Media Looking at the hype surrounding HTC’s and Samsung’s flagships this year, LG’s decided to stay low when it comes to the G4 it seems. A top company executive spoke to the media earlier and emphasized on the need of differentiation when it comes to smartphones in the Android world. And looks like LG’s looking to build a completely new hype around its device as the LG G4 will be coming in April, and not at MWC this March.

Not that we were expecting the G4 to be unveiled at the MWC in March as a company executive elaborated that LG will be following its schedule with the G3 when it comes to the G4 as well. But judging by today’s news, it’ll be a month earlier this time around. According to Korea Times’ (http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/tech/2015/02/133_173600.html) source, the manufacturer is looking to make a bigger splash with the G4 and not peg the device down as any other Android flagship. LG’s also looking to make the G4 stand out from Samsung, Apple and HTC launches, the source elaborates.
That doesn’t by far mean that the company is shy of smartphone releases. The company already launched the curved LG G Flex 2 this January and the device boasts the specifications any Android device for 2015 can be expected to get, with a Snapdragon 810 coupled with 3 GB of RAM on board. So stay tuned for more updates on the G4 and the MWC this March.

You Should Expect A Vastly Re Redesigned LG G4 With Improved Software Says Company Head

With HTC and Samsung having launched their flagships at MWC, only two more major Android makers are yet to showcase their launches for the mobile flagship race 2015. While the rumor mill has nearly dried up when it comes to the Xperia Z4, LG seems to be eager to keep the G4’s speculation train alive and kicking it seems, with another company official having spoken up about the device, this time at the MWC (http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/news/tech/2015/03/133_174582.html).
http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/LG-G3-Specifications-635x424.jpg (http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/LG-G3-Specifications.jpg)LG Mobile Chief Speaks Up On The G4 – Device To Be Significantly Different From Others LG’s head of mobile, Cho Juno has spoken up about the company’s soon to be expected flagship smartphone at the MWC. This wouldn’t be the first time a company official has decided to elaborate the press about the G4, with another company representative also having spoken up before. And just like before, LG’s mobile head is also claiming that the company is looking to think different with its upcoming flagship.

According to Juno, LG’s looking to make sure that its upcoming device is a well rounded smartphone, and will be focusing on aspects more than simply the design on the device. He expects the device to be vastly changed from the present LG G3. This will not only include a different design, but LG’ll also be focusing on the user experience that the G4 will provide. The G4 will be paying a special focus on the user interface on the device and will be launching the LG UX 4.0 before the smartphone’s release, according to Juno.
In addition to this, looks like LG’s looking to follow in Samsung’s footsteps, by deciding to possibly introduce the G4 with its own, home-made chipset. If true, then it would result in another major Android flagship smartphone manufacturer choosing to forgoe US manufacturer Qualcomm as the choice for chipsets on its device. This isn’t confirmed by any account however, as Juno merely confirmed that LG’s working on its own chipsets at the moment. Whether the company has sufficient technical expertise to pull this off still remains to be seen. Whatever the case may be, LG seems to have high expectation for its flagship expected to come next month. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated.

LG Looking To Stand Out By Launching The LG G4 With Android 5.1 According To Leak

With only a month left till its expected release, the LG G4 (http://wccftech.com/lg-g4-features-company-head/) has started to appear in the news more day by day. After the company’s mobile head claimed that he expects the LG G4 to be optimized in both hardware and software, we’ve received more news today that looks to lend more credibility to his words. LG Mobile head Cho Juno (http://wccftech.com/lg-g4-features-company-head/) said a couple of days back at the MWC that the G4 will be coming with improved design and software UI designed for enhanced user interaction.
http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/LG-H8181-635x280.jpg (http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/LG-H8181.jpg)Mysterious LG Device Running Android 5.1 Appears On Html5test Website A mysterious LG Device, with the codename LG-H818 has appeared today on the html5test website today. For those of you who’re out of the loop, H818 has been rumored to be the codename for the LG G4. The device spotted on the website is shown running Android 5.1, as can be seen in the screenshot above. Android 5.1 has been rumored to be coming for quite a while and will take care of all the problems users have been facing in the current update and further streamline performance overall.

The G4 with Android 5.1 on board will not only end up giving the device a good edge over others when it comes to interface, but it also might end up boosting it over others when it comes to sales. Asides from Android 5.1, the device has also been listed previously with a resolution of 1440×2560 meaning that LG might also be looking to not make any resolution changes from the G3 on the G4. Not that we’d hold anything against the manufacturer if it does, higher resolution does end up draining battery significantly apart from providing little changes in viewing experience.
The device spotted (http://www.mylgphones.com/lg-g4-running-android-5-1-build-lmy29f-spotted.html) today is also rumored to be a variant of the LG G4 (http://wccftech.com/lg-g4-specs-leak-snapdragon-810/) headed for Asian markets. We’ll know for sure soon enough though, as the G4 is expected to be coming next month as the company intends to differentiate the device from other flagships in more ways than one. How different it’ll be, only time will tell. Stay tuned. We’ll keep you updated.

LG’s Not Looking To Stand Out Much It Seems With Plastic Rumored For LG G4

With Samsung and HTC having done with their flagship smartphone releases for the year, all eyes on LG who still has to unveil the G4 this year. The LG G4 is expected to come within a month or two, so there’s still time for us to speculate as to what the device will be like and what features and design details it will posses. LG itself has been helpful in that department, with several company heads claiming that the Korean company intends to set the device apart in terms of design and user interface.

http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Non-final-LG-G4-press-renders-635x635.jpg (http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Non-final-LG-G4-press-renders.jpg)LG Reportedly Looking To Stick With Plastic On The Upcoming LG G4 Despite all the positive hype being stimulated by the company, if today’s news stands its ground then it would seem like LG’s decided not to jump on the metal as the only manufacturing option for premium flagship smartphones. According to industry insiders speaking directly to the Korean media, the company is looking to stick with plastic as the material of manufacturing for the LG G4. The company allegedly is not ready to make the design shift towards metal. Whether the cause of the decision is based on design or LG’s manufacturing capabilities is yet unknown.
A metal frame is under the works over at LG but that’s most likely to be headed for the G4 Note which can be expected later this year. As for specifications, the LG G4 is expected to come with the Snapdragon 810 on board and a slightly curved screen according to some alleged press renders. All of this will be powered by an all new LG UX 4.0 UI and come featuring a 20 MP rear camera. Given the general shift in trend towards metal, LG’s decision to choose plastic is an interesting one indeed, and the company’s going to need some serious beefing up in the design department if it intends to stick its course. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated.

The LG G4 has been widely expected to be launched by the company next month, so any word about the device’s impending launch is heavily welcomed. And that’s exactly what’s come to our attention today.

LG To Launch LG G4 At The End Of Next Month Claim Korean Sources According to word straight out of Korea (http://www.koreaherald.com/view.php?ud=20150327000289), LG’s finally decided on a date for the launch of the LG G4. The device can be expected to be with us by the end of next month, with LG applying the G Flex 2’s curved screen formula on the G4 as well. The device won’t be as big as some of the devices out there, with LG looking for a screen size somewhere close to 5 inches in a move that could help the company gain favor of those who still prefer smaller screen sizes for their smartphones. In addition, the G4 will also be coming with a QHD resolution, leaving battery capabilities and other performance markers on the device in question.
Whether the device will also be featuring the Snapdragon 810 still remains unknown. Its likely to be the case however as LG’s really got no other option as alternatives that perform on a level similar to the Snapdragon 810 aren’t really available in the market right now. How the company manages to solve the heating issue on the device still remains in doubt; but given the time its taken with the G4’s launch, they’re likely to have found a solution for it as well. The LG G4’s also expected to mark the entrance of the much coveted fingerprint sensor alongside an improved rear camera. What design changes apart from the curved screen will be coming on the device still remains unknown. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated.

LG G4 teased in new benchmarks, features 5.5-inch 1440p display

Samsung has launched its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge smartphones (http://www.tweaktown.com/news/43845/samsung-makes-galaxy-s6-edge-official-14nm-cpu/index.html), but its fellow South Korean rival has been hiding in the shadows with its forthcoming G4 smartphone.

http://imagescdn.tweaktown.com/news/4/4/44330_03_lg-g4-teased-new-benchmarks-features-5-inch-1440p-display.png

We're beginning to hear more about the G4, which should feature the Snapdragon 808 processor instead of the Snapdragon 810 according to some leaked Geekbench results. The G4 should rock a 5.5-inch 2560x1440 display, 3GB of RAM, a 4K-capable rear-facing 15-megapixel camera, with a 7-megapixel front-facing camera.

The big news is here is the change from the Snapdragon 810 from previous rumors, to the 8-core Snapdragon 808 processor. This should be partnered up with Qualcomm's Adreno 418 GPU.

LG asks to "save the date" for April 28, G4 unveiling?

It looks like LG will unveil its new Snapdragon 808-powered G4 smartphone on April 28, as it is asking various media outlets to "save the date" for a press night in New York, London and Paris on April 28, and in Seoul, Singapore and Instanbul on April 29.

image: http://imagescdn.tweaktown.com/news/4/4/44347_10_lg-asks-save-date-april-28-g4-unveiling.jpg (http://www.tweaktown.com/image.php?image=imagescdn.tweaktown.com/news/4/4/44347_10_lg-asks-save-date-april-28-g4-unveiling_full.jpg)
http://imagescdn.tweaktown.com/news/4/4/44347_10_lg-asks-save-date-april-28-g4-unveiling.jpg

The email that LG sent out includes an image that has them teasing "See the Great. Feel the Great" while using the G logo from its series of flagship handsets. All of this is printed onto a leather backing, which teases that the G4 could feature leather in way one or another.

We don't know much about the G4 apart from the rumors we recently posted (http://www.tweaktown.com/news/44330/lg-g4-teased-new-benchmarks-features-5-inch-1440p-display/index.html), which see it featuring a Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 5.5-inch QHD 2560x1440 display.

LG G4 Expected To Feature Dual-Mode Interface; With Basic And Expert Modes

LG’s G4 is most likely going to be showcased to the public on April 28, 2015. The South Korean tech firm started sending out invitations for the unveiling of its flagship offering, with LG telling the recipients to “Save the Date.” On the front of the invites, the company has printed “See The Great, Feel The Great,” which is no doubt an indication that the program itself and the unveiling of LG’s flagship smartphone are both going to be a slobber knocker of an event. However, LG is expected to raise the bar even further with its flagship offering and thanks to Business Korea (http://www.businesskorea.co.kr/article/9887/lg-g4-global-front-lg-electronics-unveil-g4-six-countries-simultaneously-april-29), the G4 is going to feature a dual-mode the interface.
http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/LG-G4-Rumors-635x423.jpg (http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/LG-G4-Rumors.jpg)
Users to experience two entirely different interfaces with the dual-mode interface According to the source, the dual-more interface is going to feature the following:

Basic mode
Expert mode

Since Android happens to be a very customizable platform, LG has decided to take advantage of that perk and incorporated the aforementioned user interfaces. The first one, known as the basic or general interface, is going to provide users with one of the simplest smartphone experiences that they have ever come across. Catered to those who do not like to get too adventurous with their smartphones and desire the most basic of functions (in our personal opinion, that is throwing away your hard earned money), the basic mode will most likely be targeted to the ‘non tech savvy’ crowd who are not familiar with the working proximity of a smartphone.

For those who want each and every single functionality present on the 5.5 inch frame of G4, expert mode has been crafted just for them. With all of LG’s UI functions placed at their fingertips, users will be able to take advantage of a myriad number of features present inside the device. For example, LG G4 is going to be equipped with a 16 MP laser camera sensor, so additional image and video tweaking options will be available to the user in order to improve the overall quality of their snaps and clips. Similarly, all of the other functions are going to be transformed in the same way.
Earlier, it was expected that G4 was going to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 SoC, but the latest leak (http://wccftech.com/lg-g4-s808-industry-insider-claims/) shows that the upcoming handset is going to be incorporated with Snapdragon 808, which features a hexa-core processor package rather than an octa-core one. Two ARM Cortex-A57 cores are going to be absent from the equation, and while it might lower the performance, users will still get more battery life out of the device, since the processors are known to consume 256 percent more power (http://wccftech.com/huawei-details-performance-kirin-930-cortexa53e-cores-superior-performance/%5d) compared to Cortex-A53.
Whatever happens on April 28, 2015, we are as excited as you are.

LG Releases the G4’s Display Details

http://cdn.eteknix.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/LG-G4-display.jpg
LG just released some information (http://www.engadget.com/2015/04/03/lg-g4-screen-tech/) about the display that will be on the flagship G4. The 5.5″ QHD (1,440×2,560) LCD will have 538 pixels per inch and have an amazing 120% colour gamut. LG achieves this feat by using a blue LED with red and green phosphors instead of yellow like other LCDs have.
The display no doubt is being touted as one of the G4’s best features, and accurate colours isn’t the only thing the display improved on. LG says that it offers a 50% higher contrast ratio than competing QHD LCD panels, and also says that it is 30% brighter without using extra energy.
The new displays will have darker blacks and sharper images thanks to a tech that involves UV light being used when making the panels. It says that it allows the liquid crystals to align evenly, preventing light leakage. Another new tech called Advanced In-Cell Touch (AIT) makes the screen very sensitive and claims that it can respond to touch commands even when wet. Many are understandably eagerly awaiting the April 24th unveiling of the G4 and thankfully we now know a little more about the device.

LG accidentally outs its new G4 smartphone before its announcement (http://www.tweaktown.com/news/44491/lg-accidentally-outs-new-g4-smartphone-before-announcement/index.html)

LG sent out an email earlier today, something that seemed a bit odd with "G4" in the headline. As we clicked into it, we found out that the South Korean giant is giving away 4000 of its next-gen G4 handsets to consumers in 15 countries to "test drive" its new handset. We knew it was coming, with LG planning a media event for April 28 (http://www.tweaktown.com/news/44347/lg-asks-save-date-april-28-g4-unveiling/index.html) - but now the company is giving away a bunch of its next-gen handsets for select consumers to play with.
http://imagescdn.tweaktown.com/news/4/4/44491_05_lg-accidentally-outs-new-g4-smartphone-before-announcement.jpg (http://www.tweaktown.com/image.php?image=imagescdn.tweaktown.com/news/4/4/44491_05_lg-accidentally-outs-new-g4-smartphone-before-announcement_full.jpg)

Starting today, LG is sending out consumers in South Korea - with 14 other markets to follow - its new G4 handset. These countries include: Turkey, Indonesia, Singapore, United States, China, India, Brazil, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Mexico, Japan and Hong Kong. In order to be in the running to get the G4 handset, "participants will be selected from applicants based on their entry responses", says LG. If you want to get in on this G4 test, you'll need to keep an eye out on LG's website and various social media pages.

These lucky people will have 30 days with the G4 smartphone to experience its "unique design and features, including its personalized UX, high performance camera (http://www.tweaktown.com/news/44480/lg-teases-f1-8-aperture-g4-smartphone-new-video/index.html) and impressive display (http://www.tweaktown.com/news/44410/lg-announces-new-5-inch-qhd-panel-part-g4/index.html) for sharing online. Participants will be given various assignments to carry out over the course of their experience with prizes awarded".

President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, Juno Cho, said: "Customers are our best fans and we think this would be an exciting and unique way to get our most important mobile product of the year close to the public. We're putting the success of LG G4 in the hands of consumers before the launch because we believe they are the best judge of a great user experience, beyond just benchmarks and speed tests".

LG G4 Will Have The Widest Camera Aperture On The Market

http://media.bestofmicro.com/W/J/489763/gallery/lg-g4-camera_w_600.png (http://www.tomshardware.com/gallery/lg-g4-camera,0101-489763-0-2-12-1-png-.html)LG Innotek, LG's component manufacturing arm, announced the development of a new 16 MP camera module that has an f/1.8 aperture, making it the widest smartphone aperture on the market right now. (The Galaxy S6's camera comes close with an f/1.9 aperture). The new camera module began mass production this week, and it will appear for the first time on the market inside the LG G4, LG's upcoming flagship smartphone.
The previous LG flagships already did quite well in low-light environments thanks to the addition of Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), but the LG G4 is bound to be even better. The new camera will be able to capture 80 percent more light than the LG G3 camera, according to LG Innotek.
This means several things. The camera will of course take better pictures in dim conditions, but it should also be able to take fast pictures in well-lit environments, such as the outdoors in day time. It also means fewer blurry pictures, because the camera will capture the light that it needs much faster, leaving less time for camera shakes. Pictures of moving objects will also be less blurry for the same reason.
LG Innotek said that large apertures have been difficult to develop for smartphones because of the complexity of the task and the size of the camera modules that have to fit in the limited space of a smartphone.
We've recently started seeing more smartphones come with an 8 MP front camera due to the explosive growth of "selfies" and the high demand for a quality camera in the front of the device. With so many people taking selfies these days, the front-camera has become almost as important as the rear camera.
LG's 8 MP front-facing camera comes with an ultra-thin IR filter that's half the thickness (0.11 mm) of other IR filters on the market. The IR filter is useful to block infrared light from entering the camera lens, which gives pictures more natural and accurate colors.

"At LG Innotek, we are constantly working to ensure that the cameras we develop allow users to capture and preserve the moments that are most special to them," said Ung-beom Lee, CEO of LG Innotek. "We are extremely excited to see our technology in LG's next flagship smartphone because we believe that the power, precision and operability of our camera module will clearly make an impression on consumers."
The LG G4 smartphone that will have the new 16 MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture will likely be unveiled on April 28 and April 29 (depending on the time zone) when LG will be holding some events in New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul. The device is also expected to have a Snapdragon 810 SoC, 5.5" QHD (2560 x 1440) screen and 3 GB of RAM.

The LG G4 is being unveiled on April 28th, but the ever prolific Evan Blass aka evleaks (https://twitter.com/evleaks)found a work in progress microsite’s pictures. The pictures show the standard and leather backed phones, the dimensions, a camera app that shoots in RAW, and confirmation that the back cover still allows for user replaceable batteries.
The ever prolific Evan Blass has been the source of some of the best smartphone leaks in the last few years. This time he did not disappoint with the pictures of the G4, as I for one have been impatiently waiting to see something like this as have so many others. The revelation that this phone has a removable back is a welcome sight and will mean that the 3,000mAh battery is user-replaceable and that it should have a slot for a microSD card. On closer inspection of the pictures the camera should be able to shoot RAW photos with the 16MP, f/1.8 camera that has laser autofocus and an infrared color spectrum analyzer according to the microsite. A variety of colors are available for the leather backed phones as well as the standard plastic backs.

Mais um?

Isto dos telemóveis já é desinteressante.

Desde que comprei um LG G2 perdi completamente o interesse... É tudo a mesma coisa.

Trás mais processador, trás mais ram, trás mais gráfica, etc... o efeito é o mesmo.

LG Confirms Vegetable-Tanned Leather for Its Power-Packed Smartphone – Images

A major leak few days back showed the upcoming LG G4 in its complete glory. The leak while showing many aspects of the device seemed more interesting thanks to some images where it’s clad in leather. LG also hinted the inclusion of leather in its design of G4 in the invitations that it has sent out for the April 28 event. Today, LG’s Facebook page posted a teaser confirming that vegetable-tanned leather is certainly coming to drape the upcoming flagship smartphone (http://wccftech.com/sony-xperia-z4-fingerprint-sensor-embedded-in-power-key/).

LG continues to tease the G4 smartphone and its impressive camera

LG will be unveiling its new G4 smartphone next week on April 28 (http://www.tweaktown.com/news/44347/lg-asks-save-date-april-28-g4-unveiling/index.html), but the South Korean electronics giant continues to tease the F1.8-capable rear-facing camera (http://www.tweaktown.com/news/44480/lg-teases-f1-8-aperture-g4-smartphone-new-video/index.html).

image: http://imagescdn.tweaktown.com/news/4/4/44695_01_lg-continues-tease-g4-smartphone-impressive-camera.jpg (http://www.tweaktown.com/image.php?image=imagescdn.tweaktown.com/news/4/4/44695_01_lg-continues-tease-g4-smartphone-impressive-camera_full.jpg)
http://imagescdn.tweaktown.com/news/4/4/44695_01_lg-continues-tease-g4-smartphone-impressive-camera.jpg

The company has now released a teaser that follows photographer Colby Brown as he uses the G4 to snap some photos, while Brown talks about the G4 and how the rear-facing camera allows him to capture photos with accurate colors, as well as noise reduction during shots in dark environments. Brown also talks about the manual mode on the G4's camera software, which allows users to control everything - from controlling the shutter speed, to adjusting the ISO and white balance.

We don't know too much a bout the G4, but LG did announce it was letting users trial the new smartphone (http://www.tweaktown.com/news/44491/lg-accidentally-outs-new-g4-smartphone-before-announcement/index.html) two weeks ago now. We know to expect a gorgeous 5.5-inch QHD display (http://www.tweaktown.com/news/44410/lg-announces-new-5-inch-qhd-panel-part-g4/index.html), but will it beat the gorgeous panel on Samsung's Galaxy S6 edge (http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/7086/samsung-galaxy-s6-edge-review-phone-future/index.html)?

Here’s EIGHT First Camera Samples From The LG G4 For You To Enjoy

LG’s made us wait long enough for the LG G4. While the company was quick to grace consumers with a curved smartphone, in the form of the G Flex 2 launched earlier this year. But while the G Flex 2 came with specifications that should give any respectable Android flagship a run for its money, the company’s waited longer than enough for the G4. We’ll get to see the LG G4 in exactly a week though, and seems like the company is eager to build to the the device’s launch on April 28th.
http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/a1cb821aa56d883.jpg (http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/a1cb821aa56d883.jpg) LG G4 Camera Samples Appear Showing Some Great Looking Shots So eager is LG to build around the G4 that it specially invited and allowed (http://www.cnbeta.com/articles/387299.htm%20) photographers Colby and Brown to give the smartphone a run for its money. The LG G4 is equipped with a 16 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera, which give the device ample room to take some good looking photographs. Well, the photos taken by the photographers are here, and you can take a look at them.

The camera sensor on the LG G4 is more than just megapixels. According to our information, it comes equipped with special sensors that will make it accommodate whatever lighting conditions you throw at it. It’ll be able to automatically adjust and correct differences in quality, strength and noise. It seems to be working as can be seen the images.

The camera samples show good balance of light and dark, with the G4 managing to produce some very detailed images regardless of lighting conditions. Color saturation and balance also seem to work perfectly. The LG G4 is expected to be launched in a week by the company at New York so make sure you’re tuned in to receive all the latest updates regarding the device. More Pictures Of The LG G4 Surface Showing Leather Back And Dual SIM function

LG’s G4 is due to be launched in a couple of days by the Korean manufacturer in New York. That doesn’t mean however that the device will stop making appearances in leaks all around. Today seems to be a good day for the G4’s leaks and to start off, the device has made an appearance in Iran.

http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Circled-icon-shows-that-this-model-offers-dual-SIM-support-635x422.png (http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Circled-icon-shows-that-this-model-offers-dual-SIM-support.png) LG G4 Leaks With Plastic And Leather Back – Showing Dual SIM Capability As expected, LG’s going to be launching several variants of its flagship device around the world, if today’s information is correct. The Iranian blog Zoomit (http://www.zoomit.ir/articles/mobile/19842-lg-g4-iran) has managed to get its hands on some photographs of the device, that appear to be the real deal. As you can see in the image above, the version of the device which made an appearance today is a dual SIM version. You can tell this by taking a look at the circled image, which shows SIM selection capability on the device.
This variant appears to be manufactured specifically for Iran, so you shouldn’t be expecting similar capabilities for devices here in the US. Aside from the front of the device, a series of images showing off its rear have also made appearances. One of these tells us at what exactly the leather backed version of the LG G4 will look like and you can take a look at it below. The LG G4 is expected to be launched by the manufacturer on April 28th, with the Snapdragon 808 on board, coupled with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560. The device is also expected to come with 3 GB of RAM, a 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP from camera. All of this will be powered by a battery of 3000 mAh. How well will LG’s decision to ditch the Snapdragon 810 for the G4 will pan out? We’ll know for sure once the device becomes available. Till then, stay in touch. We’ll keep you updated and let us know what you think in the comments section.

LG G4 To Cost Around $800 As Device In Similar Category To S6 Edge Claims Official

The LG G4 seems to be on a roll today when it comes to appearances and leaks. After we saw the device in some real life photographs, and an appearance in an official promotional video by the manufacturer, it has made yet another appearance. Rather than present information about the G4’s specifications or design, this bit of information is about the pricing details for the LG G4.

http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/geegeegeegee.png (http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/geegeegeegee.png) The LG G4 To Be Priced Somewhere Between Samsung’s Galaxy S6 And S6 Edge According to some fresh new information, the LG G4 will be charging a little bit more for the G4 than previously expected. The device got listed on Korea’s SKTelecom, LG U+ and KT for pre-order yesterday and the pricing managed to surprise quite a few of us. According to the listing, the LG G4 will be available for $825, which makes it higher than the one put by Samsung on the Galaxy S6 Edge. LG seems to be quick to elaborate on the matter however, with a company official having spoken to ETNews (http://www.gforgames.com/gadgets/lg-g4-price-between-galaxy-s6-and-s6-edge-46936/) on the matter.
According to the report, while the price of the G4 quoted above isn’t final by any means, but the company expects it to stay within the same range. Meaning that while you should expect it to go down a couple of dollars, but don’t expect any dramatic changes to the figure above. Given that LG’s chosen to skip the Snapdragon 810, and the Snapdragon 808 while does pack six cores, but shouldn’t prove to be a match for Samsung’s Exynos 7420, LG’s decision for such a price tag might end up doing the company more harm than good. According to the official quoted by ETNews, the reson for such a high pricing is that the company believes the G4 stands in the same category as Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge. Whether this turn out to be true, we’ll find out soon enough. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated.

The LG G4 LEAKS With Retail Box Moments Before Launch

LG’s expected to launch the G4 within 3 hours and the device is expected to come featuring all the top notch specifications expected from a flagship smartphone. Despite a toned down processor in the form of the Snapdragon 808, other features on the device are expected to be worth your while. These include a 5.5 inch screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. For all of you who’re waiting for the device though, the LG G4 just saw its retail box pictures leak within hours of its launch.

LG G4 Leaks In Retail Box Ahead Of Launch Complete With Accessories Seems like someone’s pretty eager (http://lg.hdblog.it/2015/04/28/LG-G4-protagonista-di-un-primo-unboxing-a-poche-ore-dallannuncio-ufficiale/) to show off the LG G4, even though we’ll be getting to lay our eyes on the device in less than three hours from. The device, present in its retail box has been leaked and it comes complete with the accessories that you’d expect from the LG G4. As you can see in the image above, the leather back version, and what seems to be the plastic version as well have been leaked.

http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/First-LG-G4-unboxing-shots1-635x357.jpg (http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/First-LG-G4-unboxing-shots1.jpg)
We also get a pretty good looking shot of the device’s front, with all three LG G4 modules sitting comfortably in their retail boxes. The front of the LG G4 resembles more or less the LG G3 in terms of overall design language with the same broad look. Leaks of these kind have started to become more and more the norm before flagship launches. Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and Apple’s iPhone 6 duo have both seen their final versions leak almost comprehensively prior to launch. The LG G4 seems to have joined the pack for now, and these images should help pass the time for LG fans until the device is officially unveiled. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated.

LG’s Built On The G3’s Strengths As The LG G4 Is Launched With Snapdragon 808

With the low key announcement of the Sony Xperia Z4 earlier this month, LG’s launch of the G4 today marks the apparent end of this year’s Android flagship upgrade cycle. The device’s launch wasn’t a surprise either, with the LG G4 being yet another flagship being dominated by leaks before its launch. In fact, such eager were leaks to take place, that just a couple of hours back the LG G4 leaked with its retail box, allowing us to take a clear look as to what we should be expecting. Well, you’re not going to have to wait any longer as the LG G4 is here, and below you can take a look at what the device has to offer, officially.
http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/CDsBqLjWIAAQjgc.jpg (http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/CDsBqLjWIAAQjgc.jpg)
The LG G4 Launched With Snapdragon 808 And 16 MP Rear Camera On Board LG’s Frank Lee claimed that the LG G4 is designed with the end user in mind and hopes to create a device that creates a unique experience. According to Lee, the LG G4’s slim arc design not only gives the device better durability but follows ergonomics as well. Leather won’t be the only material the G4’s coming with either. The device will also be available in ceramic and metal to cater to everyone’s needs.
Rear camera is a feature that we’ve been hearing for quite a while on the LG G4. The device comes with a rear camera of resolution 16 MP and f/1.8 aperture size. LG’s laser focus and Quick shot, that allows you to take a picture by simply tapping on the G4’s rear button. OIS 2.0 also performs better than the G3 with an additional Z-axis being added. The device will also be coming with a reasonable battery of 3000 mAh, ensuring that your power needs are met sufficiently.
http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/CDsFW_GUkAAoqzx.jpg (http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/CDsFW_GUkAAoqzx.jpg)
A color spectrum sensor on the G4’s rear also results in a better understanding of light capture by the device, making the G4 the world’s first smartphone with the feature. In addition, not only will you be able to control shutter speed for periods as long as 15 seconds with the G4, but you’ll also be able to save your images in RAW format, allowing for a greater control on photographs. LG’s paid quite a lot of attention on the camera for the G4, building further on the strengths of the G3. The improved UX 4.0 on the G4 allows for a timeline view of photographs taken.

http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/CDsCBVGXIAATWy9.jpg (http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/CDsCBVGXIAATWy9.jpg)
But that’s not the main focus of the G4. Looks like all the rumors of the device having ditched the Snapdragon 810 and relying on the Snapdragon 808 are true. The Snapdragon 808, according to Paul Jacobs of Qualcomm comes with 4K video support and super fast LTE courtesy of XLTE. The Snapdragon 808 is Qualcomm’s hexa core processor coming with four Cortex A53 and two Cortex A57 cores, and is Qulacomm’s second top chipset after the infamous Snapdragon 810.
http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/CDsHXSrW8AI6Hne.jpg (http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/CDsHXSrW8AI6Hne.jpg)
The LG G4 also comes with a 5.5 inch Quantum IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, which according to the company took the company some effort to perfect. The Quantum IPS on the G4 is an improvement over the G3, and allows for up to 20% improved color reproduction on the G4. It allows allows for a 1500:1 contrast ratio. LG hasn’t disappointed with the G4’s launch today, with focus having been paid on nearly every aspect of the smartphone that matters. LG’s also partnered with Google to offer an extra 100 GB of Google Drive space for LG G4 users, making sure you never run out of space. That’s all from LG’s G4 launch today folks. Let us know what you think about today’s launch in the comments section.

Snapdragon 808 vs Exynos 7420 vs Snapdragon 810 and MediaTek MT6595 – Benchmark Results

LG announced its latest flagship smartphone LG G4 yesterday and managed to get quite an uproar and applause. Named as one of the best flagship from LG, G4 is powered by Snapdragon 808 chip, an Adreno 418 graphics unit, and 3 GB of RAM. These specs make LG G4 a little different from the other top end phones (http://wccftech.com/galaxy-s6-vs-iphone-6-vs-htc-one-m9-vs-nexus-6/) adding in the curiosity of whether a move to 808 proved to be a good one for LG or not. Here are the LG G4 benchmark results trying to show just how good the chipset really is.
– Some of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Bugs and Their Fixes (http://wccftech.com/galaxy-s6-bugs-and-their-fixes/) http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/LG-G4-970-80-635x357.jpg (http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/LG-G4-970-80.jpg)
LG G4 benchmark results: Earlier rumored to carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (http://wccftech.com/samsung-drop-snapdragon-810-cpu-galaxy-s6-overheating-source-bloomberg/) chip, it was later leaked that the phone maker has decided against the chip – possibly because of the overheating issues (http://wccftech.com/snapdragon-810-htc-one-m9/). With the 810 heating problems, the Android world has got interesting as we are seeing a mixed bag of top-notch chips.
From Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7420 to Sony and HTC’s troubling Snapdragon 810 and MediaTek chips that are powering the Meizu smartphones, LG has got quite a lot to fight against. Here are some of the early LG G4 benchmark results to showcase how this Snapdragon 808 mixed with Adreno 418 GPU performs against the major competition.
Snapdrgon 808 vs 810 and Exynos: As visible in the Vellamo Metal and Basemark OS 2 CPU tests, Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are leading the game with their Exynos chip. However, LG G4 (http://wccftech.com/lg-g4-xperia-z4-gpu-benchmark-rumor-roundup/) isn’t far behind and is actually performing better than the superior Snapdragon 810 chip fitted inside HTC One M9.
http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/velamo.jpg (http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/velamo.jpg)
http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/os-ii-635x182.jpg (http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/os-ii.jpg)

AnTuTu LG G4 benchmarks: While almost leading the pack in CPU tests, AnTuTu LG G4 system performance shows medicore overall performance by the LG G4 coming very behind the Exynos (http://wccftech.com/ifixit-samsung-galaxy-s6-teardown/), 810 and even the MediaTek powered phones. This one doesn’t show the device as one worthy of being put into the flagship category as we always see the flagships managing to either top or at least tailgate the top of the benchmark charts.
http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/antutu.jpg (http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/antutu.jpg)

While these LG G4 benchmarks don’t claim to showcase what the device is capable of under the normal usage but they do help us get some idea of how powerful the chips are under intense load.
Getting some good reviews paired with no throttling issues like 810, and an improved camera, we expect LG G4 (http://wccftech.com/lg-g4-launched-today-snapdragon-16-mp-rear-camera/) to perform well in the consumer markets. Are you planning to get one for yourself?

LG G4 Camera Puts Dust On The Galaxy S6 And iPhone 6

With the arrival of the G4, LG has taken a step forward to oppose the two tech giants who have been ruling the industry for quite some time. Many of the features may be the same but when it comes to Camera, the LG G4 has blown away the Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6. LG has moved forward to introduce a camera which is high end in terms of its specifications unlike its predecessor, the LG G3. Things are going to get rough in the camera comparison, people.
http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Images-of-the-LG-G4-leak-1-635x335.png (http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Images-of-the-LG-G4-leak-1.png)
Lg has armored its G4 with a 16 megapixel shooter with lens of f/1.8 along with a 1/2.6” sensor. It does support OIS 2 which is an upgrade of the previous version. In contrast to Samsung’s Galaxy S6 which also has a 16 megapixel camera and a sensor of 1/2.6” along with lens of f/1.9, OIS included. Speaking of camera optics, Apple’s iPhone 6 does not lack behind in the image quality with specifications of an 8 megapixel and of f/2.2 lens. Lets see the details what these cameras can do.
iPhone 6 And Galaxy S6 Blown Away By LG G4 The camera on the LG G4 cannot be matched to its predecessor for it lacked quite a lot. Firstly, lets talk about the internals of the machine that enables LG G4 to be such a fast machine, let alone the performance, it has immense importance in the camera optics. The LG G4 comes with powerful six core processor wrapped in a hand made leather back and a gigantic battery of 3000 mAh. The handling system is Android’s latest flavor of Lollipop.
lets have a look at the camera optics on the LG G4. The aperture is responsible to capture maximum light in an image with immense detail and with an f/1.8, you will be able to capture the most out of your G4. The LG G4 has undoubtedly produced images which cannot be matched to te Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and or the iPhone.
http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/LG-G4-official-camera-samples-1-635x357.jpg (http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/LG-G4-official-camera-samples-1.jpg)

The LG G4 has a lot to show, the new and improved rear shooter with a 16 megapixel. optical image stabilization which provides great stability than ever before, the advanced controls within enables it to produce images that are capable to replace your DSLR. The shutter speed is really impressive that records up to 0.7 seconds. However, while taking pictures, the camera will have to focus, that delays the snapping time. Though, the comparison with Samsung’s Galaxy S6 was fast enough and far above the iPhone 6.
The feature that sets LG G4 apart from any other smartphone is an 8 second shutter speed that captures the moment of a moving object. This lets the G4 to acquire more time for the light to enter the lens. Hence, the long exposure lets the LG G4 to capture bright and stunning images with great detail. Here is a link if you wish to seek original LG G4 (https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B4PnH5TQXf06fmVxQlNlWE9lbzNKTHY0eFV MMFZreXBraVdFQksxVWtUOVJHWTBhRnphTW8&usp=sharing) images.

A new interesting color spectrum sensor is also part of the camera that enables you to know what kind of ambiance is present on the scene so settings can be made accordingly. The iPhone and the Galaxy S6 produce poor images in low light conditions. Even in the night mode, shooting moving objects is not a problem for LG G4, whereas iPhone 6 and Galaxy S6 have failed miserably. All in all, the LG G4 has advanced forward than the leaders of the industry.
The LG G4 is a great device with amazing performance and a stunning camera. Its a complete package that does not require an improved condition so far. The LG G4 will start rolling out for sales from May to June. As for now, do stay tuned for more news, leaks and rumors.

http://media.bestofmicro.com/V/U/493626/gallery/LG-G4-launch-1_w_600.jpgClick to enlarge | Credit: Alex Davies (http://media.bestofmicro.com/V/U/493626/original/LG-G4-launch-1.jpg)Earlier today, we wrote about what we wanted to see in LG's latest smartphone (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/lg-g4-smartphone-android,29000.html) and what we were expecting to see based on information LG had teased, as well as some helpful leaks. Looking back at what we wrote, it looks like we were pretty spot on with what we were expecting. Sadly, it does look like perhaps a couple of our wishes went unfulfilled.
At this morning's New York City event that was held on the 64th floor of the new World Trade Center (what a view) Jun-Ho Cho, President and CEO / Mobile Communications Company and Frank Lee, Director, Mobile Communications LG mobile USA took us through the highlights of their latest flagship.

Design

As was teased and leaked, the G4 will be available with a genuine leather removable back in six different colors (shown below). At the event, LG stressed that its "premium tanning process" produces a smooth, durable finish, so we'll have to put that to the test. Another unique feature of the leather back is that each one will wear differently over time, making your G4 different from any other. While LG did announce multiple colors, it looks like many of the brighter ones are optional. In the US, the G4 will be available in two different plastic back colors, gray and white, and in two different leather colors, black and brown. Canadians, unfortunately, will only get the G4 in gray plastic and black leather.
http://media.bestofmicro.com/V/T/493625/gallery/LG-G4-launch-2_w_600.jpgClick to enlarge | Credit: Alex Davies (http://media.bestofmicro.com/V/T/493625/original/LG-G4-launch-2.jpg)Another feature we mentioned in our preview was that the G4 was slightly curved. LG is calling this aspect of its design "Slim Arc," and, as can be seen, the curve is extremely subtle and much less pronounced than the G Flex's. LG claimed that this design element makes the phone more comfortable to hold and more durable. If the G4 is dropped on its face, the curve prevents the screen from hitting the ground directly and possibly shattering.
Other than these two new features, the G4 is very similar to the LG G3, with LG's trademark rear volume and power buttons and a high screen-to-body ratio, making for a compact device despite its 5.5-inch screen size. We are disappointed to see that no metal seems to have made its way into the G4's construction.

Display

As we predicted, the G4 uses LG's new 5.5-inch IPS Quantum Display, which LG claimed has 20 percent better color reproduction, is 25 percent brighter, and has 50 percent greater contrast than the screen of the G3. We also learned that additional enhancements make this display more power-efficient too, which was one of the G3's display's biggest weaknesses. LG said that its "Graphic RAM" should improve its efficiency by 4 percent, and its improved LCD technology will improve it by 7 percent.
Camera

As was teased, the G4 does have an extremely fast lens f/1.8 in front of its 16MP sensor. The wide aperture of this lens should allow for excellent low-light performance. At the event, LG claimed that the G4's low aperture makes it 80 percent brighter than the average f/2.4 lens found on the average smartphone. It is even 11 percent brighter than the S 6's f/1.9 lens.
http://media.bestofmicro.com/C/J/494227/gallery/LG-G4-Black-Model-1_w_600.jpgClick to enlarge | Credit: Alex Davies (http://media.bestofmicro.com/C/J/494227/original/LG-G4-Black-Model-1.jpg)In conjunction with this class-leading lens, the G4 also has a new larger 16MP sensor. While we were thinking that LG would use a 16MP Sony sensor, since the G3 used a 13MP Sony, at the event we found out that the G4's sensor is in fact made by LG. It is a 1/2.6" sensor made by LG Innotek, and is 40 percent larger than the G3's. LG has also upgraded the OIS (optical image stabilization) on the G4. Its new OIS 2.0 has two degrees of stabilization on the X and Y axis and also adds Z axis stabilization.
The last piece of innovative camera technology that LG has incorporated into the G4 is a Color Spectrum Sensor (CSS). The sensor, the first to be found on any smartphone, reads both the RGB light and reflected infrared light in a scene to adjust white balance and flash color for more accurate color representation in pictures. The G4 also still has the super fast LaserAF of the G3.
To control all this new camera hardware, LG has added a full manual mode to the camera software. With it, you can adjust every aspect of the camera – ISO, white balance, exposure and shutter speed. You can even capture images in RAW with it.
Internal Hardware
Again, all the speculation was right. The G4 uses Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 808 SoC. The 808 is a hexacore SoC with 2x Cortex-A57 and 4x Cortex-A53 CPUs. At the event, the clock speed these cores would be running at was not announced, so it's possible that LG and Qualcomm are finalizing what speeds provide the best balance of performance and power consumption on the G4 before formally announcing them. The 808 pairs these CPUs with an Adreno 418 GPU, which, at least on paper, looks to be less powerful than the 430 in the Snapdragon 810 and the 420 in the older 805. Of course, we can't comment on actual performance until we've had a chance to test this new silicon properly.
http://media.bestofmicro.com/V/R/493623/gallery/Snapdragon-808_w_600.jpg (http://media.bestofmicro.com/V/R/493623/original/Snapdragon-808.jpg)What is clear is that both Qualcomm and LG must be aware of the troubling heat issues of the 810, and after they saw how that chip performed in the G Flex 2, they prudently decided to take a different path for the G4. It also doesn't hurt that the 808 is probably a cheaper chip for LG to buy, allowing for bigger profit margins on the G4.
http://media.bestofmicro.com/C/K/494228/gallery/LG-G4-Black-Model-2_w_600.jpgClick to enlarge | Credit: Alex Davies (http://media.bestofmicro.com/C/K/494228/original/LG-G4-Black-Model-2.jpg)Like the G3, the G4 has a removable 3,000 mAh battery and a microSD slot, both welcome inclusions when the G4's competition is moving away from these features. Despite the battery being the same size as its predecessor, LG claimed that thanks to various optimizations and the power-efficient 808 SoC that the G4 has 20 percent batter life than the G3. If this proves to be true, then the G4 might be the 2015 flagship phone to beat. Battery life has been the Achilles heel of all of 2015's contenders so far.
The G4 now has the standard 32 GB of internal storage and 3 GB of RAM.
Software

The LG G3 comes with Android Lollipop 5.1 running its new "human-centric" UX 4.0. LG told us today that this new UI will be simpler and more intuitive than that found on the G3, but still includes advanced options for more experienced users. LG is also pre-installing the complete suite of Google office apps on the G4 and is giving G4 buyers an additional 100 GB of Google Drive storage free for two years.
Since the G3, when LG decided to adopt elements of Google's Material design into its UI, LG has had an attractive UX with many useful features. However, its weakness has always been that it is one of, if not the, slowest Android OEM to update its devices. While nothing was mentioned today about improvements in this area, let's hope the G4 is updated to the next version of Android in a reasonable amount of time after Google launches.
Pricing and Availability

The LG G4 will be available "soon" on Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular in the U.S., and in June in Canada on Bell, Rogers, TELUS, Videotron and WIND Mobile. Pricing has not been announced, but we expect it to be similar to other flagship Android devices like the HTC One M9 and Samsung Galaxy S 6.

No Quick Charge 2.0 On The LG G4; Despite Snapdragon 808 Support

LG launched the LG G4 just two days back and the device came with some impressive specifications indeed. While the company did choose to do away with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810, choosing to focus more on consistency than top performance specifications, that doesn’t mean the LG G4 is a phone without strengths. Seems like all those consumer demands that LG claimed it followed at the time of the G4’s launch bore some fruit. Camera specifications received significant attention alongside a massive removable battery that LG boasted about quite a lot, powering the device. But looks like not everything’s going according to LG’s plan, as problems related to the G4 have already started to pop up.
http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/7-635x363.jpg (http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/7.jpg)

Reports Indicate Charging On The LG G4 Might Not Be As Quick As You’d Think The LG G4 comes with quite a hefty 3000 mAh battery that should be enough to cover most charging needs. But if you’re expecting fast charging on LG’s latest flagship, you might be in for a disappointment today. Your LG G4 might not be the quickest to charge, even though the Snapdragon 808 on board does support Quick Charge 2.0. This feature hasn’t made it on board the LG G4 though, and the reason for that seems to be that LG wants its accessories for the device to be equally popular.
Seems like a separate case for the LG G4 will be available from the manufacturer that will also include Quick Charge 2.0 on board (http://www.droid-life.com/2015/04/29/fyi-lg-g4-doesnt-support-qualcomm-quick-charge-2-0/). So if you’re looking for faster charging times for your future LG G4, be sure to get your hands on the accessory as well. Or, you could also simply purchase a new battery for the device, that will end up being handy during critical times. Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.

The LG G4’s Detailed Camera Analysis Pulls Off Some Amazing Photographs

LG paid some special attention to the camera specifications of the LG G4, as the manufacturer claimed at the time of the device’s launch. With a resolution of 16 MP and aperture size of f/1.8 the device boasts specifications capable of competing with any top flagship out there. But that’s not all that the LG G4 has in store for camera aficionados every where. The device comes with several enhancements on board which include and Quick Shot, that allows you to snap a photography by simply tapping the rear button on the G4. An upgrade from the LG G3 is OIS 2.0, which allows for much improved photographs courtesy of a z-axis being added. So give the G4 in the hands of a professional photographer and you’ll be amazed at what the device can produce.
http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/LG-G4-camera-sample-images-635x357.jpg (http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/LG-G4-camera-sample-images.jpg)
The LG G4 Manages To Produce Some Amazing Camera Samples In The Right Hands Aside from OIS 2.0 and Quick Shot, the LG G4 also comes with laser autofocus and is the first smartphone on the market to come with color spectrum on board, which manages to further refine the quality of images captured. Three camera modes on the device also end up giving you complete control as to what options to use for the perfect photograph, which you’ll also be able to save in DNG. Shutter speed can be delayed for up to 15 seconds, so you’ll also be able to capture all those light motion photographs as well, just like the image below.
http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/LG-G4-Night-AF-Zion-National-Park-635x357.jpg (http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/LG-G4-Night-AF-Zion-National-Park.jpg)

So when LG handed the G4 over to folks at Colby Brown photography (http://www.colbybrownphotography.com/gear-review-a-photographers-take-on-the-lg-g4/), it really was no surprise as to what the G4 is really capable of. Taking a look at the two images above, you’ll see how well the LG G4 manages to perform in low light environments. The first image is a long exposure shot that uses a shutter speed of 10 seconds with delay of 8 seconds. The device’s Optical Image Stabilization manages to produce stunning result as well, with the image below taken at one-fourth of a second. And according to Mr. Brown, this speed manages to surpass even what most professional photographers are able to achieve, with tripods.

http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/OIS-LG-G4-Portland-Colby-Brown-635x357.jpg (http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/OIS-LG-G4-Portland-Colby-Brown.jpg)
The LG G4’s aperture size is one of the lowest in the market today, beating the iPhone and the Galaxy S6. Aperture size determines the amount of light that your device’s camera can capture, and the shot below manages to prove the G4’s strength in that area as well. Its taken in Arizona’s Slot Canyons by the way, so you shouldn’t be expecting much light in that particular area either.
http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/LG-G4-Slot-Canyons-Colby-Brown-635x357.jpg (http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/LG-G4-Slot-Canyons-Colby-Brown.jpg)
And if you’re wondering what’s the difference between raw format (DNG) and standard (JPEG) images. JPEG images are images available on the go, which already have their characteristics adjusted and size reduced for quick use. They’re not that easy to edit though, and that’s where images stored in DNG or RAW format come in handy. They’re unedited images that allow you to make any changes that you want, but are files with huge sizes. They also contain more textural and other details, so lets see what difference both the formats make on the LG G4. Alongside them are images in the device’s Auto and Manual mode which also show some visible changes.

http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/JPEG-vs-DNG-635x743.jpg

http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/LG-G4-Auto-Mode-635x357.jpg

http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/LG-G4-Manual-Mode-635x357.jpg

To end our LG G4 camera analysis, you can take a look at a couple of images taken in full resolution from the device. The camera on the G4 manages to present some stunning results indeed, and while LG was indeed expected to further refine the camera on the G3, which had an impressive camera on its own, the LG G4 can very rightly be said to be in a class of its own when it comes to camera specifications. So take a look at the images below and let us know what you think in the comments section. Rest assured, if you’re a huge camera user on your smartphone, the LG G4 will be just the device for you.

LG G4 Pro Specs Leak Out; Snapdragon 820 And A 27 MP Camera

South Korean tech firm LG might have big plans for its G5 (iris scanner rumored (http://wccftech.com/level-lg-g5-iris-recognition/)) and while its G4 happens to be the simplest flagship device to repair (http://wccftech.com/lg-g4-simplest-flagship-repair-reveals-teardown/), the company is intending on releasing a G4 Pro before focusing on its G5. The upcoming handset is expected to feature a metal chassis and is slated for an October 2015 release. In terms of hardware specifications, the smartphone blows G4 out of proportion in every manner possible. After all, the latest leak suggests that G4 Pro will be armed to the teeth with a Snapdragon 820 SoC (which to jog your memory, is currently being fabricated on Samsung’s 14 nm FinFET process), an astounding 27 MP rear camera and a whopping 4 GB of RAM.
http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/lg_g4_press_03_resize-635x426.jpg (http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/lg_g4_press_03_resize.jpg)

Image of LG’s G4 G4 Pro Is Expected To Possess A 5.8 Inch Screen Size; Overtakes Its Predecessor By A Long Margin LG has been rumored to be contemplating a second smartphone release, and now, Mobiltelefon (http://mobiltelefon.ru/post_1434601428.html) reports that the G4 Pro is expected to be released during the month of October and will sport an aesthetically appealing metal chassis to complement its ‘eye protruding’ hardware specifications. As mentioned above, G4 Pro will sport a Snapdragon 820 SoC, which will be running Qualcomm’s custom cores known as Kryo (http://wccftech.com/qualcomm-shows-snapdragon-820-fingerprint-sensor-mwc/).

Additionally, 4 GB of RAM will be present, which was expected, seeing as how G4 features 3 GB. While the memory type has not been stated, it can be assumed that the RAM count will satisfy DDR4 speeds. However, perhaps the biggest improvement jump happens to come from the handset’s 27 MP rear camera sensor, and that is a lot of megapixels to stuff in a smartphone camera sensor.
There is no information on the origin of the camera sensor, but it is possible that LG will be tapping Sony, being that the latter has the highest smartphone camera sensor market share (http://wccftech.com/sony-20-iphone-6-sold/). G4 Pro is expected to feature a 5.8 inch screen that will render a 1440p resolution and thanks to its large form factor, we can expect a beefy battery to be stuffed at the rear side of the handset.
So far, this is all the information that is available about the smartphone. If you guys are intending to wait for G4 Pro, then we strongly suggest that you muster up some patience and wait for the month of October to arrive.

Bonne Armure De Corps? Take A Look At The LG G4 Vs A Combat Rifle

Ah technology. With the increasing pace of advancements out there, yearly upgrades to our flagship smartphones and the rest have made significant performance upgrades a normal thing. Our smartphones are far too powerful for the needs of the average user. But that still doesn’t stop upgrades and market demand for high performance has made manufacturers rush to equip their devices with the latest upgrades. But despite performance upgrades, our devices still remain as fragile as ever, like a couple of folks out there would like to consistently remind you. One of these is Richard Ryan at FullMag, who’d like to show you today how your LG G4 will stand in front of a FAMAS.

<iframe width="635" height="388" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/A3hYe0mygSc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Here’s How The LG G4 Stands Up Against A French Military Rifle If you’ve got any recent plans to travel to a war zone, and have also purchased an LG G4, you’re in for some good luck today. If you’ve taken a look at the video above, you’ll see how the device will stand against FAMAS – Fusil d’Assaut de la Manufacture d’Armes de Saint-Étienne. Its the primary assault rifle used by the French army, and should give anyone a reasonable idea of what to expect should they run into folks from the European country by any chance. Its also in slow motion, since the impact is too quick for the normal eye to fathom in any other case.
As you can very well see, the LG G4 is in no way a substitute for body armor. So if you’re heading out into war torn territory by any chance, don’t rely on LG’s flagship for any sort of protection. But it’ll make calls, run multimedia and even take a couple of some really good photographs just fine though. So that ends our today’s post on the LG G4, Lets hope folks over at South Korea don’t get any ideas. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated. And let us know what you think in the comments section.

Concordo.

You Might Not Get To See Android 5.1.1 On The G4 According To LG

Android 5.1 has started to see a gradual roll out to devices with Samsung’s Galaxy flagships already having started to receive the update and a custom Android 5.1 for the HTC One M9 already out. However, as it has always been, it generally remains the choice of your device’s manufacturer on whether to roll out the update to its devices. And we’re afraid that some LG users are in for a bad bit of news today as the manufacturer recently made some statements regarding the update on Facebook.
http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/gsmarena_0014.jpg (http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/gsmarena_0014.jpg)

No Android 5.1 Update For The LG G4 Right Now Says Company Well, for all those hoping that their G4 will get updated to Android 5.1 as well, we’ve got some bad news for you today. LG doesn’t seem to have any plans for the update so far, as shown in the image above. Both O2 UK (https://www.facebook.com/o2uk/videos/10152837775691254/?comment_id=10152878092446254&ref=notif%ACif_t=video_reply) and LG Hellas (https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?act=url&depth=1&hl=en&ie=UTF8&prev=_t&rurl=translate.google.co.in&sl=auto&tl=en&u=https://www.facebook.com/lghellas/videos/vb.125595344170688/904920616238153/%3Ftype%3D2%26theater%26notif_t%3Dvideo_reply&usg=ALkJrhgWdSkw97DD4HGQPByb0XvOqTH2Iw) have responded today to user queries about the update, and so far, there’s nothing concrete. LG did a good job with the G4 this time around, with the device’s camera receiving several important changes and upgrades, alongside an improved UI.
Perhaps the company feels that its devices don’t need Android Lollipop and can do without the update’s changes. Or maybe they just haven’t moved that far along into preparing the final version for end users. After all, Android M was unveiled by Google a while back, and perhaps LG is looking for a direct jump to it. Just like Apple’s iOS 9 upgrade this year, Android M also saw a great variety of new features introduced by Google at this year’s I/O. These include improved support for biometric recognition, more focus towards mobile payments and improved app functionality. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated. And let us know what you think in the comments section below.

LG's G4 Beat handset provides midrange value

LG has pulled back the curtain on its midrange G4 Beat phone (http://www.lgnewsroom.com/2015/07/lg-g4-beat-delivers-premium-design-superior-features-in-a-mid-tier-package/), an offshoot of the flagship G4 handset (http://techreport.com/news/28182/lg-g4-packs-fast-f-1-8-lens-snapdragon-808-power). The company wants to "[deliver] terrific value" with the G4 Beat, which slots in below the specs (and presumably, price) of the flagship G4.

http://techreport.com/r.x/2015_7_9_LG_G4_Beat_handset/lg_g4_beat.jpg The new handset features a Snapdragon 615 SoC (https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/processors/615), an "octa-core" CPU comprised of two quad-core Cortex A53 CPUs clocked at 1.7 GHz and 1.0 Ghz, respectively. 1.5GB of RAM provides some working space for all those cores, and the phone comes with 8GB of eMMC storage. It's unclear whether there's a microSD slot on board.
A 1080p, 5.2-inch IPS LCD handles visual duties. Photographers get an 8MP rear camera (13MP in the Latin American region), and there's a 5MP snapper at the front for the inevitable selfies. LG doesn't say whether the Beat keeps the bright f/1.8 lens and raw shooting capabilities of the G4, but the laser autofocus system and manual mode are carried over.
The G4 Beat features support for 4G LTE mobile data, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and NFC. LG doesn't quote approximate run times, but the removable battery is rated for 2,300 mAh. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop keeps the Beat going. The handset itself measures 5.6" by 2.9" by 0.39" (142.7 by 72.6 by 9.9 mm), and weighs in at 4.9 oz (139 g). LG hasn't provided pricing or availability info for the Beat in the USA yet.

LG G4 Review: A worthy high-end contender (http://www.techspot.com/review/1029-lg-g4/)

Every year, LG manages to impress me in one way or another with their new flagship Android smartphone. The inclusion of a near bezel-free display, combined with surprisingly awesome battery life on the G2 two years ago made me fall in love with LG handsets for the first time. In 2014, the company released the G3, the first mainstream smartphone with a crisp 1440p display and a great laser-assisted autofocus system for the camera.
This year, LG has focused on improving every aspect of the camera with their latest flagship, the G4, and the results might prove impressive once again. LG has upgraded the camera sensor to a 16-megapixel unit, kept the optical image stabilization and laser autofocus from the G3, and switched to a wide f/1.8 lens. The selfie camera was also upgraded to eight megapixels.
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4S-12.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-12)
In the market for a new smartphone unlocked and off contract? Check out our friends at Yatango Shopping (https://yatango.com.au/shopping/) and Mobicity (http://www.mobicity.com/), who will sell you the LG G4 (https://yatango.com.au/shopping/lg-g4-4g-lte.html) and a range of other products for great prices and shipping worldwide.
Aside from the camera, LG has upgraded several other parts of their flagship’s hardware for the G4. The company has chosen a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC for this handset, rather than the Snapdragon 810 they used in the G Flex 2, likely for power consumption and heat concerns. There’s also a new 5.5-inch 1440p “Quantum” IPS display, which improves upon its similar predecessor, alongside versatile features that include a removable battery and microSD card slot.
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4S-15.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-15)
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4C-2.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-2)
The design of the G4 is a definite upgrade on the LG G3 from last year, and will be very familiar to folks who have seen or used LG’s high-end smartphone from earlier this year, the G Flex 2. While the G4 doesn’t bend or flex, its strong and rigid body is slightly curved, though not to the same extent as the G Flex 2. The general style of the G4, with its slim bezels and quite rectangular profile, is borrowed from the G Flex 2 as well, so much so that the two look exactly the same from the front.
Around the back is where LG has changed some things up. The faux metal used on the G3’s rear panel wasn’t very impressive and basically felt like boring plastic, so the company has swapped it out for a diamond-patterned back cover on the G4. This cover is available in two options: “ceramic” white and “metallic” grey, though both quite obviously look and feel like plastic when you see the phone in person.
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4S-9.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-9)
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4C-27.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-27)
As I’ve mentioned countless times before, I’m not a huge fan of plastic on high-end smartphones, as – depending on the implementation and quality of the plastic – it can make an expensive phone look and feel cheap. The patterned back covers LG provides for the G4 are far from the worst use of plastic I’ve seen on a high-end device, but I would hardly say that they are great either. Perhaps the best word to describe this use of plastic is simply “meh”.
Luckily, the diamond-patterned plastic back covers aren’t the only options LG provides. For those that are willing to spend a bit more cash on their G4, LG will let you choose between two genuine leather back covers in either black or brown. The black leather cover has been given a skin-like texture, whereas the brown cover uses polished leather; both feature a prominent, stitched seam down the middle. The retail G4 I was sent to review came with both a black leather back and a ceramic plastic back in the box, but I’m not sure whether the inclusion of two backs in the box is the case for all leather G4s on the market.
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4S-7.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-7)
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4C-8.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-8)
Compared to the plastic back covers, the leather back is significantly better both from a visual and textural perspective. Not everyone I’ve shown the G4 to agree with me on this point, but I really like the way the leather G4 looks, even if it is a bit unusual. Unfortunately the leather back didn’t feel as good to touch as I was expecting: it’s really only a minor upgrade over the faux-leather Galaxy Note 3 and 4 in this department. Part of this has to do with how hard the leather feels, mostly due to the plastic backing, which differs from how other genuine leather products such as wallets and shoes typically feel.
Aside from the leather backing, the G4 also features back buttons for power and volume, which shouldn’t come as a surprise to people who have seen LG’s flagship smartphones over the past few years. The use of back buttons supposedly allows LG to make the bezels on either side of the display extremely thin, and this is certainly the case with the G4. I have no problem with the positioning of the buttons on the G4, and after a few days of use it feels just as natural to use as buttons on the side.
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4S-3.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-3)
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4C-10.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-10)
Oh, and if you don't like the leather or plastic backs, I'd highly recommend grabbing one of dbrand's custom black carbon skins (https://dbrand.com/), seen above. The skin doesn't just look awesome on the back of the G4: it also fits extremely well and feels even better than either of LG's stock options.
The 5.5-inch display occupies the vast majority of the front panel (around 74% of the total area), with a simple LG logo below and the usual collection of sensors, camera and speaker above. The entire area is protected with smooth Gorilla Glass 3, which like other Gorilla Glass panels, feels great to touch and is very swooshable.
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4C-19.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-19)
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4S-14.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-14)
The edges of the G4 are made of plastic, which is a tad disappointing but not unusual for a smartphone. On the top edge you’ll find an infrared LED that allows the G4 to act as a universal remote for your home theater equipment, which can definitely come in handy. Along the bottom are both the micro-USB port and the 3.5mm audio jack. Unfortunately the G4 has just missed out on getting USB Type-C.
The profile of the G4 is certainly interesting. As well as the display being curved from top to bottom ever so slightly, the device’s body is curved from left to right, making it thicker in the middle than at the edges. This means the G4 is 10.6mm thick at its thickest point (thicker than LG’s official figures for the device), tapering down to under 6mm thick at the edges. And although the handset doesn’t look chubby thanks to the curvature of the design, it doesn’t really feel all that thin when you’re holding and using it.
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4S-11.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-11)
The back cover of the G4 can be removed, revealing the removable 3,000 mAh battery, the microSD card slot, and the micro-SIM slot. The cover is secured well but can still be removed easily when necessary, and it can be replaced if you decide the plastic back you went with originally should actually be leather. Like the G Flex 2, the G4 doesn’t support wireless charging natively, unlike the G3 which is a disappointing downgrade.
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4C-5.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-5)
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4S-4.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-4)
LG is using a brand new 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 IPS LCD panel for the G4, improving upon the first-generation 1440p panel we got with the LG G3. LG claims this new “IPS Quantum display”, whatever that means, improves upon its predecessor through better contrast (rated at 1500:1), improved color accuracy, better power efficiency, and better brightness.
To start with, the G4’s display is extremely crisp at 538 PPI. LG has removed the odd sharpening filter that made the G3’s display look artificially sharper (and worse), and the device is better off for it. Images, text, videos, apps and games all look great on this display, and even though I still don’t believe 1440p is a significant upgrade on 1080p at this display size, this new panel in the G4 nullifies some of the issues with the initial use of 1440p displays in smartphones.
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4S-17.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-17)
The G4’s display is noticeably brighter than the G3’s display, with LG’s latest display technology allowing this high-resolution panel to match the luminance of current-generation 1080p LCDs. Compared to Samsung’s 1440p AMOLED display used in the Galaxy S6, the G4’s LCD is slightly brighter, and I found the G4 easier to view outdoors thanks to better management of stray reflections, possibly due to less of a gap between air and panel. The G4’s automatic brightness also performs smoothly, accurately and quickly, which is great to see.
It’s hard to visually compare the accuracy of smartphone displays these days, because most do a very good job when it comes to color reproduction and saturation. Photos certainly look excellent on the G4’s display thanks to great contrast, decent black levels for an LCD, acceptable gamma, and a panel temperature close to the ideal 6500K if slightly on the cool side of the spectrum. It’s hard to definitively say whether the Galaxy S6 or LG G4’s display is better, which goes to show how excellent both panels are.
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4C-23.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-23)
http://www.techspot.com/articles-info/1029/images/G4S-22.jpg (http://www.techspot.com/photos/article/1029-lg-g4/#G4F-22)
Another aspect of the G4’s panel that seriously impressed me were the viewing angles; I don’t think I’ve seen an LCD with viewing angles as good as this. The display exhibits so little color and brightness shift at off-normal and acute angles that it could be mistaken for an AMOLED panel, which is an impressive achievement for LG’s display division.
Unlike a number of other flagship smartphones on the market these days, LG does not offer any way to adjust the quality of this display through the settings menu. You can adjust the layout of the on-screen navigation buttons, as you’ve been able to do on previous LG flagships, but that’s it.

Following a Petition, LG Acknowledges G4 Bootloop Issue and is Offering Repairs

LG G4 (http://wccftech.com/update-lg-g4-to-cm13-android-6-0-rom/) users have been dealing with an annoying bootloop problem with their devices for the past few months. The device apparently reboots randomly and gets stuck in a bootloop. Having no solution to this LG G4 bootloop problem, users have been trying to get a fix from the company for a few months now. LG has finally come up with a response to the problem.
http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/lg-g4-options-635x318.jpg
LG finds a fix for LG G4 bootloop issue: The problem doesn’t seem to be specific to any carrier or region, as owners of the flagship device around the globe have been reporting it. Since the LG G4 bootloop issue was getting no attention from the tech maker, users of the device filed a petition to get LG to send a fix for the problem. The petition was trying to get LG offer a replacement program for all the affected LG G4 units. Today, the company has finally acknowledged the LG G4 bootloop issue and is confirming that it is a hardware defect, due to “loose contact between components.” LG has also said that it will offer repairs for the affected models of the smartphone.
LG G4 has given the following statement to AndroidAuthority (http://www.androidauthority.com/lg-admits-g4-bootloop-problem-hardware-fault-669603/):
Advertisements

LG Electronics has been made aware of a booting issue with the LG G4 smartphone that has now been identified as resulting from a loose contact between components. Customers who are experiencing booting issues with their LG G4s should contact their local carrier from where the G4 was purchased or a nearby LG Service Center (www.lg.com/common) for repair under full warranty.
Customers who purchased their G4 devices from non-carrier retailers should contact an LG Service Center with the understanding that warranty conditions will differ. LG Electronics is committed to providing the highest standards of product quality and customer service and apologizes for the inconvenience caused to some of our customers who initially received incorrect diagnoses.
As seen in the above statement, those having the warranty will be able to get the issue fixed. However, those of you who bought their devices from non-carrier retailers are recommended by the company to contact LG Service Center “with the understanding that warranty conditions will differ,” possibly indicating that you will have to pay for the repairs. However, if the service center was unable to fix the issue (http://wccftech.com/how-to-fix-connected-no-internet-issue-on-nexus-6p/) for you previously, it was because of “misdiagnosis.” As LG has now correctly identified the source of the problem, you should be able to get it all fixed.

LG G4 Now Available For $299 – Check Out The Deal Right Here

http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/A1Xv3OST2AL._SL1500_-628x1200.jpg
Underneath the hood, you have a Snapdragon 808, which is running the following processor configuration:

2 x Cortex-A57 running at 1.82GHz
4 x Cortex-A53 running at 1.44GHz

LG has prevented to incorporate a Snapdragon 810 primarily because of its overheating issue, which is a smart move on the company’s part. Additional hardware specifications are 3GB of RAM, and a 16MP rear camera sensor that will be able to capture 4K videos, and still images will be captured with far more detail thanks to the wider F/1.8 aperture. LG has always given more emphasis to its camera, which is why to give smartphone camera enthusiasts something to hum about, there are a ton of settings in the manual camera mode of the handset.

There is also a 3,000mAh removable battery in LG G4, which you do not see too often in high-end devices. To top it all, there is also an option to expand you existing storage, thanks to a 2TB storage capacity recognition limit. However, the maximum MicroSD cards that are being offered right now is 512GB version from Microdia (http://wccftech.com/microdia-stuffs-512-gb-storage-microsd-card-overtakes-sandisk/). However, 200GB MicroSD cards are available, which will be more than enough to sate your requirements.
