ortnite is described as a co-op sandbox survival game and is about exploration, scavenging items, building fortified structures, and fighting waves of encroaching monsters. Building will be a core mechanic in the game, and there will be "a lot of loot" buried within. Players can build and edit each wall of their fort with a 3x3 grid, lay down stairs, roofs, and windows, sculpting them to suit a particular need.[5] Epic Games Poland (formerly known as Epic Games's subsidiary People Can Fly) will also be working on the title.

Other notable Unreal Engine 4 projects include the gorgeous Absention (http://wccftech.com/absention-gorgeous-unreal-engine-4-survival-horror/), a new survival horror title inspired by true survival horror greats such as Resident Evil, Eternal Darkness and Silent Hill so fans can expect a mixture of mental challenge, intense gameplay, and immersive environments.
Ad Infinitum (http://wccftech.com/ad-infinitum-unreal-engine-4-ww1-survival-horror-incredible/) is a first-person survival horror adventure set in a surreal world during WWI. It is built on the Unreal Engine 4 and is currently under development for the PC.
Downward (http://wccftech.com/downward-unreal-engine-4-parkour-open-world-adventure-teaser-trailer/) is a beautiful first person parkour based, scenery open-world adventure set during the Middle Ages, after that the events depicted in the Book of Revelation of St. John took their course. ARK: Survival Evolved (http://wccftech.com/ark-survival-evolve-unreal-engine-4-dx12-support-open-world-multiplayer-fps-survival-game-dinosaurs/), is a multiplayer first person survival game coming to Early Access in June 2015, with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions planned for 2016.
A talented French artist, known as Koola, has delivered hyper realistic real-time architectural visualizations (https://www.youtube.com/user/koooolalala/videos) using Unreal Engine 4.
Taking advantage of both the power and accessibility of UE4, the results of his work have wowed colleagues and has garnered attention from the international press and the Unreal team at Epic. Earlier this year Koola became the very first recipient of the inaugural Unreal Dev Grants (https://www.unrealengine.com/blog/first-unreal-dev-grants-awards-announced) program, a financial development fund designed to incentivize and reward innovative projects designed in Unreal Engine 4.

Verdade seja dita não pegou durante muito tempo.
Apenas depois de adicionarem o moto battle royale é que o pessoal começou a jogar.
Aliás, o modo battle royalle está a ser a morte dos outros modos do fortnite.

A recent report claims Fortnite has made $3 billion so far in 2018, making it more profitable than 29 countries were in 2017

Antigua, Grenada, and Belize. All of these countries are known for their beautiful and sweeping expanses of natural land–now they’re also known for making less money than Fortnite.
No one can deny that the game has had an amazing year. Epic Games grossed a $3 billion profit from Fortnite, according to a report from publication TechCrunch (https://techcrunch.com/2018/12/27/epic-fortnite-3-billion-profit/). The company did not respond to a request for comment on that figure.
It’s hard to quantify $3 billion, so to put it in perspective–it’s more money than what 29 countries made according to the 2017 World Bank report (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal)). What’s more is that Fornite has grossed more money this year than the nine least-profitable countries put together ($2,557,000,000).

Epic Games’ Fortnite could have made more money in 2018 than quite a few more countries, but this report is only based on the game’s net profits. It’s not clear what it costs to run Fortnite if you include marketing, server maintenance, and the lot.
The company itself is valued at $15 billion, which is more than the GDP of Jamaica.
These numbers will likely continue to rise as the game gains even more revenue post-holidays: the launch of season seven and the introduction of the latest Battle Pass are sure to drive sales even higher. As a result, Fornite has the potential to outrank even more members of the global economy. We’ll know more about how the game stacks up once we enter 2019 and finalized reports start coming in.

A este ritmo, já não deve faltar muito para vermos um jogo a fazer mais dinheiro num ano, do que Portugal. :'(

Epic will donate all Fortnite proceeds over the next two weeks to humanitarian efforts in Ukraine (https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2022-03-20-epic-will-donate-all-fortnite-proceeds-over-the-next-two-weeks-to-ukraine-humanitarian-efforts)

Epic Games has confirmed that from today, 20th March, until 3rd April, all its Fortnite proceeds will be donated to "humanitarian relief for people affected by the war in Ukraine".

In partnership with Xbox - which is also "committing [its] proceeds for Fortnite during this time" - the drive hopes to generate funds for relief organisations that provide emergency aid, health support, food and clean water, essential supplies, legal aid, and shelter.

"All real-money Fortnite purchases made between March 20, 2022 and April 3, 2022, will be distributed," Epic said on the official Fortnite website (https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/news/support-humanitarian-relief-for-ukraine). "This includes V-Buck packs, Fortnite Crew, gifted Battle Passes, and cosmetic packs such as the Voidlander Pack sold for real money. Retail store purchases of in-game cosmetics and V-Bucks cards will also be included if they are redeemed in-game during this window.

"Using V-Bucks in Fortnite will not be included as those are not real-money purchases."

Epic adds that 100 per cent of Fortnite's proceeds is "equal to the gross purchase price of all Fortnite in-game purchases or retail purchase redemptions [...] from sales throughout the world, excluding taxes, third-party platform fees, refunds, returns, or reversals".
