We Finally Have A Substantial Sony Xperia Z4 Leak As The Device’s Chassis Appears

As we get done with the Galaxy S6 and the HTC One M9 launches this month, there are still two more major Android flagships left for this year. And while the LG G4 keeps on popping up here and there, there has been absolute radio silence when it comes to the Xperia Z4 apart from a digitizer leak last year and one more leak this year. Looks like we’re in for some good luck today however, as the chassis of the Sony Xperia Z4 has leaked today, giving us some more design details about the flagship.
http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_486-624x416.jpg (http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_486-624x416.jpg) Sony Xperia Z4 Chassis Spotted And Compared To The Xperia Z3 – Several Design Changes Present Folks over at FutureSupplier (http://www.futuresupplier.com/blog/sony-xperia-z4-front-housing-leaks-no-big-change/), who were also responsible for an earlier leak of the front digitizer on the Xperia Z4 have managed to get their hands on a chassis allegedly belonging to the Sony Xperia Z4. To make things clearer, they’ve compared it to the existing chassis of the Xperia Z3 and we can see in the images below how the two devices.
http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_490-1024x682-635x423.jpg (http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_490-1024x682.jpg)The Xperia Z4 will be thinner than the Z3 according to today’s information. The chassis leaked today is 1 mm thinner than Sony’s existing flagship, so seems like whenever its launched, the Xperia Z4 will be one of the thinnest devices around, topping both the iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge in thinness. Also, as can be seen in the image above, the magnetic charging port on the Xperia Z3 is gone, with the left side of the Z4 only housing the SIM card.

http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_888-1024x683-635x424.jpg (http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_888-1024x683.jpg)The MicroSD card and the SIM slot on the right side of the Xperia Z3 has been done away by sony on the Z4, with both the things absent on the right side of the chassis
http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_488-1024x683-635x424.jpg (http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_488-1024x683.jpg)Another significant change on the Xperia Z4 seems to that it seems the device will no longer be coming with its waterproof certification. As can be seen in the image above, it is no longer covered with a protector, meaning in all likelihood that Sony’s choosing to do away with it for the sake of design. Other changes on the chassis include the microphone hole moved away from the headphone jack and you can take a look at them in the images below.

Only a Few Small Design Changes in Sony Xperia Z4, Alleged Press Photo Confirms

There have been plenty of details of the upcoming Sony Xperia flagship (http://wccftech.com/galaxy-note-4-camera-blind-test/) smartphone, however, today is the first time we are looking at the press image of this phone. We already know the specific details expected of the device, but images always talk in a better way to us. This Sony Xperia Z4 leaked image is being alleged as a press photo and shows some subtle design changes when compared to its predecessor (http://wccftech.com/sony-xperia-z3-drop-test-proves-phone-drops-shattering/).
http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Sony-Xperia-Z4-press-render-photo.jpg (http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Sony-Xperia-Z4-press-render-photo.jpg)
Sony Xperia Z4 leaked image: Sony Xperia Z4 is rumored to bring some major changes in its specs’ list especially the hardware inside it. While the design changes may not be quite drastic – as was previously expected – you can certainly wait to see some good upgrades in the hardware department. Sony Xperia Z4 will bring in a faster processor, higher resolution display screen, and a better camera. Here are some of the rumored Sony Xperia Z4 (http://wccftech.com/true-sony-xperia-z4-gained-fcc-certificate/) specs:

5.2-inch screen
Dimensions: 146.3 x 71.9 x 7.2 mm
Snapdragon 810 octa-core processing chipset
3 GB of DDR4 RAM
New IMX230 (http://wccftech.com/sony-xperia-z4-specs-complete-list/) camera sensor with real-time HDR capability + image plane phase detection autofocus
Android 5.0.2 Lollipop

Looking at the dimensions which are similar to Xperia Z3 (http://wccftech.com/galaxy-note-4-camera-blind-test/), it was already being supposed that we won’t see any major design changes in the flagship smartphone this year too. But there are some subtle changes visible in this latest Sony Xperia Z4 leaked image. The changes shown in this image are: different placement of front-facing camera and proximity sensor; you can also see the top earpiece has been moved to the edge with perhaps a different location for the bottom speaker set too. This might be helpful in improving the stereo quality. But that’s just about it.
This image shows only the half part of the phone and we are missing the images of the bottom, and the back of the Xperia Z4 which might be able to show us some more details of the design of this upcoming smartphone. If you aren’t in favor of Sony’s design ideology of its Xperia lineup, don’t expect to see any mega differences this time around too. However, if you are looking to get some good specs (http://wccftech.com/htc-one-m9-specs-videos/) under the hood, we don’t think you will be disappointed. Fingers crossed.

Sony’s Gorgeous Xperia Z4 Leaked In New Renders, Sports Lollipop And Snapdragon 810 SoC
A handful of renders showing Sony's (http://hothardware.com/tags/sony) forthcoming Xperia Z4 handset have leaked to the web. If the final design holds true to those renders, the Xperia Z4 is going to be a stunning device on par with some of the better looking smartphones (http://hothardware.com/tags/smartphones) currently available. It's also going to be plenty fast, according to the rumored specs.

Let's talk about the handset's features for a moment. From what the web thinks it knows at this point, the Xperia Z4 will measure 146.3mm (L) by 71.9mm (W) by 7.2mm (D). It will have a 5.2-inch display with either a 1920x1080 or more likely a 2560x1440 resolution powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, Andreno 430 graphics, and 3GB or 4GB of RAM. A 21-megapixel rear-camera will be in the mix, and of course the handset will rock Android 5.0 Lollipop.

image: http://hothardware.com/ContentImages/NewsItem/33001/content/Xperia_Z4_Front.jpg
http://hothardware.com/ContentImages/NewsItem/33001/content/Xperia_Z4_Front.jpg

From the 3D renders, it looks as though Sony moved the SIM slot to the left side of the device. You can also see a microUSB port, 3.5mm audio port on top, front-facing speaker, and a volume rocker.

image: http://hothardware.com/ContentImages/NewsItem/33001/content/Xperia_Z4_Back.jpg
http://hothardware.com/ContentImages/NewsItem/33001/content/Xperia_Z4_Back.jpg

Curiously missing is a microSD card slot. That either means the Xperia Z4 won't offer users expandable storage, or that it was simply left out of the renders, which Twitter user "OnLeaks" (Steve Hemmersoffer) says were made for internal use only and aren't actual press photos.

It's also interesting to see the exposed microUSB port. It raises the question of whether or not the Xperia Z4 will be waterproof or water resistant, something that's been a bragging right for Xperia handset owners. One thing worth pointing out in that regard is that Sony's Xperia Z4 (http://hothardware.com/news/sony-makes-a-splash-with-mid-range-xperia-m4-aqua-smartphone-and-10-inch-z4-tablet) Tablet also leaves the miniUSB charging port exposed, yet it's still advertised as being dust-proof (IP65) and waterproof (IP68).

Possible Benchmark Results And More Revealed For Sony Xperia Z4

Sony Xperia Z4 might be at the verge to launch but so far there is no news of the final launch date. What we know is even better, the complete specification sheet and benchmark results show us what Sony has in store for us. The spec sheet cover each aspect and element in detail of the much awaited smartphone.
http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/xperia-z4-curve-635x336.jpg (http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/xperia-z4-curve.jpg)
The Sony Xperia Z4 ran quite a few GFXBench tests which portrayed its performance in terms of software and hardware. The secretive device with a model number E6553 is most likely to be a Sony Xperia Z4 according to the GFXBench report. Lets roll down to analyse the in-depth review of the Xperia Z4 in the light of the revealed spec sheet.
Sony Xperia Z4 Stays In Competition With Its High-End Spec Sheet In the hardware department, Sony Xperia Z4 has a 64-bit architecture on board with a 1.9GHz octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor which is a step up from its predecessor having a Snapdragon 801 inside. Along with this the Xperia Z4 beholds an ARM Cortex-A53 and ARM Cortex-A57 both with four cores each. With a spec sheet like this, the Sony Xperia Z4 plans to stay in competition with other flagships and continues its legacy to produce hi-end devices after the well known Xperia Z3.
In the graphics department, there lies an Adreno 430 graphic chip with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. Out of the total 32GB, users will be open to 23GB of storage and the remaining 9GB will be responsible to handle the ground software and operating system. The Xperia Z4 handles Google’s latest android update, running a 5.0.2 Lollipop to give it an all new fresh look.

When we talk about displays, Sony has pledged to stay at the 5.1 inch mark with a resolution of 1080×1920. This is pretty much standard in term of display size for Sony and moving to a bigger one is not Xperia-like. Sony has packed the Xperia Z4 with a 19 megapixel rear camera which is optimized to shoot full HD videos and by word 4K video as well. The front facing camera is a 4.8 megapixel shooter that can also shoot 1920×1080 video.
Sony Xperia Z4 is definitely a step up from its predecessor, the Xperia Z3 and the entire spec sheet probably entitles its victory. The final launch date can be expected to be in September 2015, as for now, let us know how you like the spec sheet of your favorite handset. Let us know i the comments.

Sony to Follow Xperia Z4 Release with a Completely Re-Designed Xperia Z5 in Q4

Is this for real? Latest leak claims that Sony is apparently all ready for releasing its Sony Xperia Z4 (http://wccftech.com/latest-sony-xperia-z4-leaked-images/) in the middle of this year – which sounds quite a little real. But, the leak also claims that Sony will be all set to release Sony Xperia Z5, the Z5 Compact and Sony Xperia Z5 Ultra in the end of 2015. While we have only very recently started to get some on-the-mark leaks of Sony Xperia Z4 with benchmarks (http://wccftech.com/lg-g4-xperia-z4-gpu-benchmark-rumor-roundup/) and real life images, it seems like the tech manufacturer might just be all set to release two flagship smartphones before we say goodbye to 2015.
http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/New-Sony-Xperia-Z4-photos-3-635x846.jpg (http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/New-Sony-Xperia-Z4-photos-3.jpg)
Sony Xperia Z5 to hit the markets in 2015: It of course doesn’t come as very surprising to see Sony being ready to launch two flagship smartphones in one year as the company has been doing so in the past. Sony had pushed back the idea of launching two flagship models in a single year after losing on huge profits. Profits kept aside and judging only from the amount / quality of leaks and insider information around Xperia Z4 (http://wccftech.com/sony-xperia-z4-leaked-images/), it seems quite unlikely Sony would be able to launch both Z4 and the Z5 in this year. But, we might be in for some surprises.
Sony was rumored to have pushed the Sony Xperia Z4 well after the spring keeping the already available data in mind. The leak does give a bit of a warning that Sony might push the Xperia Z5 and the co forward to early 2016 if Snapdragon 820 processing chip is not ready for the smartphone for a fall 2015 launch.
a completely new design for Xperia Z5…

This leak further claims that Sony will launch a completely re-designed flagship smartphone starting from Xperia Z5. The smartphone (http://wccftech.com/update-nexus-5-to-resurrection-remix-android-5-1/) will sport a Quad HD display screen for all markets, have a 4 GB of RAM, and new camera sensors.

Sony has been using the Omni-Balance design for its flagship smartphones for almost five generations now. Fortunately, the Xperia Z4 is said to be the last Sony Xperia flagship smartphone to feature this design language. Our source says the Xperia Z5 will feature an all-new design, bearing very little in common with the Xperia Z4 and previous Z series flagship smartphones from Sony (http://wccftech.com/lg-g4-xperia-z4-gpu-benchmark-rumor-roundup/).
What comes off quite odd is why would Sony go through the troubles of launching Xperia Z4 with no design changes and slight hardware upgrades that late in the year if it had to launch a completely re-designed Z5 in the same year? And if there were any production concerns in the process, may be Spring 2016 would be a better idea to at least have Xperia Z4 (http://wccftech.com/xperia-z4-leaked-image-press-photo/) some sales rather than a January 2016 launch date? Well, all we can say right now is that Sony might be in for colossal design changes for the Sony Xperia Z5 considering quite a silence in its design department for over a few years. However, take this launch date speculation with a bucket of salt. Don’t literally do that, okay?
One more quite interesting bit: the leak, citing insider sources, further claims that Sony will fit its first ever fingerprint sensor in the Xperia Z5 Ultra phablet. Flagship smartphone (http://wccftech.com/galaxy-s6-bend-test/) is getting no love even after a design overhaul! Sad.

Sony to Embed Fingerprint Sensor in Xperia Z4’s Power Key – Launch in September

The leaks around the expected Sony Xperia Z4 and rumored Xperia Z5 (http://wccftech.com/xperia-z4-and-sony-xperia-z5-launch-in-2015/) are getting quite hazy as we receive more data. We have seen several leaks suggesting that Sony Xperia Z4 will be nothing but an incremental device keeping up all the design features of its predecessors and taking the chip, camera a notch higher. We also saw a rumor that indicated that Sony is planning to launch Xperia Z5 (http://wccftech.com/xperia-z4-release-date-set-to-april-20/) either in the Fall or January 2016. The Xperia Z5 will be the one bringing in different design language and new features making us ask the question why to work on mundane Xperia Z4 if Sony has something exciting for the same year?
http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/New-Sony-Xperia-Z4-photos-4-635x846.jpg (http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/New-Sony-Xperia-Z4-photos-4.jpg)
Xperia Z4 fingerprint sensor details leak: Today’s latest Xperia Z4 leak suggests that Sony Xperia Z4 will not only feature a metal chassis draped in an all-metal body aura, but will also sport a fingerprint sensor. Now if you remember, the Xperia Z5 rumor had indicated that only the Z5 tablet will receive the fingerprint sensor, which had come as quite an odd bit of information.
While we cannot say anything about an all-metal Xperia Z4 (http://wccftech.com/lg-g4-xperia-z4-gpu-benchmark-rumor-roundup/) as no other leak so far has suggested a design change and we seem to be near to the launch but having a fingerprint scanner won’t be that surprising. After all, every other major flagship smartphone has already started to flaunt this feature anyway.
As far as the all-metal body is concerned, it is yet to be seen if Sony will stay away from the signature glass rear of Z smartphones or if we will receive something similar to the Galaxy S6 duo (http://wccftech.com/fix-galaxy-s6-battery-issues/). The design bit might even be spot on as Sony is rumored to be working on two devices for this year, if we believe the earlier rumors. Which means that we might see the design change in Xperia Z5 and the fingerprint sensor in the upcoming flagship? Who knows!

Sony's going all metal with the #Z4 (https://twitter.com/hashtag/Z4?src=hash). Iconic power button getting a refresh too with a built in touch finger print sensor. Out September.

However, what you might find surprising and rather pleasant is the placement of the sensor. The Xperia Z4 leak suggests that Sony intends to fit the Xperia Z4 fingerprint (http://wccftech.com/iphone-6-touch-id-fingerprint/) sensor on the power key. How it will manage the design, we will see once the device gets leaked in images or is finally launched. It would, however, be one cool feature with no unnecessary thumb movements.

WikiLeaks Reveals Full-Metal Xperia Z4 Through Internal Sony Documents

WikiLeaks today has published a database of 30,287 internal Sony documents including emails, internal presentation files, financial data, and something that might just be the next gen Xperia Z4 (http://wccftech.com/lg-g4-xperia-z4-gpu-benchmark-rumor-roundup/)! While WikiLeaks’ wouldn’t be interested in uncovering what the next gen Xperia is going to look like, tech enthusiasts never let go of a chance to unearth future devices. A new handle on Twitter @xperialeak has dug into that treasure trove and found out some early conceptual rendering of the Xperia device. Here are the details and images some of which coincide with yesterday’s leak (http://wccftech.com/sony-xperia-z4-fingerprint-sensor-embedded-in-power-key/).
http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Leaked-internal-Sony-renders-of-the-Xperia-Z4-and-new-UI-6-635x368.jpg (http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Leaked-internal-Sony-renders-of-the-Xperia-Z4-and-new-UI-6.jpg)
WikiLeaks Xperia Z4 images: Yesterday, we shared with you a leak that claimed that Sony is going for a new, full-metal design for the Xperia Z4. While we had already heard about Sony considering new designing for the flagship, earlier rumors had considered that device to be the Xperia Z5 (http://wccftech.com/xperia-z4-and-sony-xperia-z5-launch-in-2015/), not the upcoming flagship.
Yesterday’s leak also claimed that Sony will finally be integrating the fingerprint sensor in its upcoming flagship smartphone. However, the major attractive point was that the company intends to embed the touch sensor right on the power key (http://wccftech.com/sony-xperia-z4-fingerprint-sensor-embedded-in-power-key/).

Coming back to WikiLeaks Xperia Z4 details, we can see that the device sports a metal frame and has a metal back. Along with that, the power key too looks bigger than before and is re-designed – possibly to fit the fingerprint sensor? The WikiLeaks Xperia Z4 images also hint that Sony is considering a 2.5D iPhone 6 (http://wccftech.com/bendgate-galaxy-s6-edge-bends-easily-iphone-6-video/) like glass for the display and a new “Mono / New UI” for the smartphone (http://wccftech.com/ifixit-samsung-galaxy-s6-teardown/).

http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Leaked-internal-Sony-renders-of-the-Xperia-Z4-and-new-UI-5-635x371.jpg

You can see that in these early renders, design words like seamless and solid are being used suggesting that we are definitely going to see a new design in the upcoming smartphone. However, that “upcoming” part cannot be confirmed as these renders could very well belong to the Xperia Z5 (http://wccftech.com/xperia-z4-release-date-set-to-april-20/) and not to this year’s flagship. We will have to wait and see but a new design is definitely something strongly expected of Sony this year after so many variants flaunting the same design.
Sony is expected to launch the Xperia Z4 in September possible around the dates of IFA 2015.

Snapdragon 810 powered Xperia Z4 is official

OIS selfie cam?
Sony’s flagship Xperia Z4 is official, with a new Qualcomm chip, some nifty features, and a very familiar look.

The spec is pretty good and in line with what you’d expect to see on a 2015 flagship phone. It packs a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a micro SD slot. The phone has a 2930mAh battery. Good cameras were always one of Sony’s biggest selling points, and the Z4 does not disappoint in the imaging department. It has a 20.7-megapixel rear camera, along with a 5.1-megapixel front shooter with optical image stabilisation. Good news for party people.
The phone sports a 5.2-inch 1080p screen surrounded by a metal frame, which brings us to the only gripe we have with Sony’s new flagship – it looks too familiar, the design is very similar to its predecessor. Luckily, Sony did tweak the build, so you get a metal frame and IPX8 certification, which means you can dunk the Z4 into 5 feet (150cm) of water for up to 30 minutes.
The waterproof Xperia will be available in four colour options – white, black, copper and aqua green (pictured). Availability is expected sometime this summer.

Sony (http://www.sony.com/) unveils its Xperia Z4 smartphone, for Japan only right now

We've known about the Xperia Z4 (http://www.tweaktown.com/news/44651/sony-xperia-z4-teased-thanks-wikileaks-dump-internal-docs/index.html) for quite a while now, but Sony has finally made it official. The Japanese electronics giant has made its latest flagship smartphone available exclusively to Japan right now, with no announcement of it jumping across the pond just yet.

The Xperia Z4 features a 6.9mm thick, 144g metal body which is very similar to the previous handsets. We have a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera, 2930mAh battery, a 2GHz 8-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=ram) and Android 5.0 Lollipop. To top it off, Sony has provided its excellent water- and dust-resistance goodness to its latest flagship handset.

The biggest downside to the Xperia Z4 is that we don't have an announcement of its launch anywhere other than Japan. Once iet launches in Japan over the summer, Sony will provide it in white, black, copper, and "aqua green".

Latest Bunch of Images Show 5.2-inches Sony Xperia Z4 in All Its Beauty

As was rumored earlier, Sony did announce its next gen flagship smartphone yesterday. We had received quite a bunch of different leaks and rumors with some claiming that Sony Xperia Z4 (http://wccftech.com/sony-xperia-z4-fingerprint-sensor-embedded-in-power-key/) won’t come before September. We also saw a few device renders thanks to WikiLeaks sharing the Sony documents hacked (http://wccftech.com/massive-wikileaks-xperia-z4-sony-documents/) back in December last year. However, the device does not sport any major changes to its design hinting that we will indeed be seeing the purported changes in the Xperia Z5 (http://wccftech.com/xperia-z4-release-date-set-to-april-20/).

How Sony's Just-Announced Xperia Z4 Compares To The Xperia Z3

http://media.bestofmicro.com/O/1/492049/gallery/sony-xperia-z4_w_600.jpg (http://www.tomshardware.com/gallery/sony-xperia-z4,0101-492049-0-2-12-1-jpg-.html)
Today, Sony announced the Xperia Z4 flagship, the company's next flagship device. The phone has only been announced for Japan so far, where it will arrive in two months.
The Sony Xperia Z4 looks more like an incremental upgrade than a radical one compared to the Xperia Z3. The design seems to have remained mostly the same, while the base storage has doubled to 32 GB, and the device now has a 5.1MP camera in the front. The Xperia Z4 is slimmer than the Z3 (6.9 mm vs 7.3 mm), and the battery has also shrunk from 3100 mAh to 2930 mAh. It remains to be seen whether this will have an impact on battery life.
It looks like Sony has decided to stick to a 1080p resolution for its 5.2" display, but that can only translate to battery efficiency if Sony will use a newer, more efficient 1080p panel than the one in the Z3.
http://media.bestofmicro.com/O/4/492052/gallery/z4-photo_w_600.jpgAlthough it seems Sony will use another 20.7MP sensor in its phone, that doesn't necessarily mean it will be the same one as in the Xperia Z3. Last fall, the company announced a quite impressive new sensor (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/sony-exmor-rs-imx230-sensor,28080.html) with a 192-point auto-focus system, which at the time was rumored to arrive in the Xperia Z4.
The Galaxy S6 made a significant jump over last year flagships'cameras, and the Xperia Z3, which didn't have one of the best cameras even at that time, will have some catching up to do -- especially in the software department. Android 5.0 introduced a powerful new camera API, so we'll see how well Sony will be able to take advantage of it.
While the Xperia Z3 had an IP68 certification that said it could stay 1 meter underwater for 30 minutes, the Xperia Z4 got an IPX8 upgrade to 1.5 meters. The device is also IP6X-certified, ostensibly making it dust proof.
The device also uses the controversial Snapdragon 810 chip, which Samsung didn't want to use in the Galaxy S6. Unlike Samsung's Exynos 7420, which is built on a 14nm FinFET process, the Snapdragon 810 continues to be built on TSMC's 20nm planar process (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/20nm-snapdragon-810-14nm-exynos,28457.html) technology. This gives Samsung's chip an advantage in thermal performance, which could be used to increase CPU performance, lower power consumption, or a combination of both.
The Xperia Z4 will get 3 GB of RAM, just like the Z3, and it will come in white, black, copper and aqua green.
Unless Sony plans to introduce a new flagship brand this year, the Xperia Z4 should be the true successor to the Xperia Z3, globally. Sony's phones have generally been well designed, although the design theme, which Sony has used since at least the Xperia Z1, is aging. Perhaps what Sony needs is its own "Project Zero" to revolutionize itself, and hopefully its sales, as well.

Sony Xperia Z4 Ultra and Xperia Z4 Compact Spotted Online

With the release of Sony Xperia Z4 (http://wccftech.com/sony-xperia-z4-images/), consumers are now wanting to take a peek at the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact and the Xperia Z4 Ultra too. Other than the Sony flagship, these two devices also manage to get their own share of fanbase due to size differences. The two awaited devices have been spotted today possibly indicating to some incoming leaks of details and design specs (http://wccftech.com/sony-4k-tv-ultra-hd-with-android-tv-support-release-and-price-breakdown/).
http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/2015042108532194388-ExtraLargeSize-640x640-635x476.jpg (http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/2015042108532194388-ExtraLargeSize-640x640.jpg)
Sony Xperia Z4 Compact and Z4 Ultra: The upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 Compact and Xperia Z4 Ultra have been spotted today on the Indonesian POSTEL database. While there are no clear names of the devices of course, there are some indications that these indeed are the Compact and Ultra gadgets from Sony (http://wccftech.com/xperia-z4-and-sony-xperia-z5-launch-in-2015/).

Considering that Sony Xperia Z3 Compact carried the internal coding D58xx, the entry in the database with model number E5803 gives the hint that this might be the Z3 Compact successor. There’s also one SONY E6833 entry which might be some successor of the 2013 Z Ultra. The smartphone featured a 6.4-inch display with waterproof body and carried the C68xx digits as its internal code.
Looking at the earlier rumors of a 5.9-inch 2K display screen powered by Snapdragon 810 (http://wccftech.com/snapdragon-810-htc-one-m9/) processing chipsets, and the regular water and dust resistance properties of Sony devices, we might be in for some interesting surprises here.

Differences Between Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z3 – Images and Specs List

Too much has been said about how Sony Xperia Z4 (http://wccftech.com/sony-xperia-z4-images/) is nothing but an Xperia Z3 added with a new processing chipset. However, there definitely are some smaller differences between the two flaship smartphones that Sony has introduced. We cannot call these differences as anything major or noteworthy that would make an Xperia Z3 or even perhaps a Z2 owner upgrade to the latest flagship (http://wccftech.com/sony-4k-tv-ultra-hd-with-android-tv-support-release-and-price-breakdown/) except perhaps its processor. In any case the smartphone isn’t available out of Japan and might see a few more changes when it’s ready for an international launch under a different name (http://wccftech.com/xperia-z4-ultra-and-xperia-z4-compact-spotted/).

Sony Xperia Z4 vs Xperia Z3 in images: As we had seen in an earlier leak Sony wasn’t expected to introduce any major design changes in this current gen smartphone. Sony Xperia Z5 (http://wccftech.com/xperia-z4-and-sony-xperia-z5-launch-in-2015/) on the other hand is expected to be what Galaxy S6 duo is for Samsung. Let’s hope to see this years’ old Xperia design go away for something different, better and more convenient. While we do that, here are some Xperia Z4 vs Xperia Z3 images shared by a Japanese tech site that show those minor little differences between the two devices.
Specs of the latest Sony Xperia Z4 (http://wccftech.com/massive-wikileaks-xperia-z4-sony-documents/):

Verizon-Exclusive Xperia Z4v Is Sony's First 1440p Smartphone

Sony announced that it will launch the Xperia Z4v exclusively on Verizon Wireless this summer. The Xperia Z4v is Sony’s waterproof and dustproof successor to the Xperia Z3v on the Verizon network. Sony has had a rather confusing launch strategy for its new flagship model, by calling it the Xperia Z4 in Japan first, and then giving it the Xperia Z3+ (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/sony-xperia-z3-international-launch,29172.html) name internationally, only to go back to an Xperia Z4 variation for the U.S. market. It’s unclear why exactly Sony chose to do this, especially as it’s only going to make the next flagship name even more confusing (Xperia Z4 internationally/Xperia Z5 in the U.S.?).
It’s possible that after the Japan launch, the company realized the offering wasn’t strong enough to call it the "Xperia Z4," which is why it moved to the Xperia Z3+ name. However, Verizon tends to get its way with its phone partners, and it probably wasn’t going to put too much money into advertising last year’s product name with a "+" next to it. An "Xperia Z3+v" wouldn’t have been that easy to advertise, either.
Verizon's Xperia Z4v is also slightly different than the international Xperia Z3+. The main difference seems to be that it comes with a 1440p resolution display, making it the first Sony phone to have a resolution higher than 1080p. Sony has been reluctant to move to higher resolutions on its smartphones, citing battery life concerns.
However, that argument wouldn’t make sense if the company continued to use old 1080p panels manufactured with a less efficient technology. A modern 1440p panel could be just as efficient. The real trade-off in battery life would be if Sony started using 1080p panels made with the same modern technology, but it seems the company has decided to simply start using 1440p Triluminos panels instead.
Another difference is that the phone is a little thicker at 8.6 mm compared to the Xperia Z3+, which is only 6.9 mm. It’s not clear why this difference exists, as the battery size is virtually the same at 3,000 mAh.
The Xperia Z4v phone will arrive with the same Snapdragon 810 processor that's inside the Xperia Z3+ as well as 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, support for microSD expansion up to 128 GB, cat.6 LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and hVoLTE (hybrid VoLTE that allows VoLTE calls to switch back to normal calls when the VoLTE signal drops).
Sony's Xperia Z4v also comes with high-res 96kHz/24-bit audio and supports audio technologies such as ClearAudio+ (automated equalizer settings), DSEE HX (upscales poor quality MP3s to CD quality), LDAC (proprietary Sony technology that can send high-res audio over Bluetooth) and automatic headset compensation.
http://media.bestofmicro.com/4/7/504295/gallery/xperia-z4v-camera_w_600.png (http://www.tomshardware.com/gallery/xperia-z4v-camera,0101-504295-0-2-12-1-png-.html)The Xperia Z4v's cameras seem to be the same ones as on the Xperia Z3+. On the back it has a 20MP shooter that can take 4K videos at 30 fps, and in the front it has a wide-angle 5MP camera optimized for selfies that also supports many of the rear camera's software features.
The device also supports PS4 Remote Play, which allows Xperia Z4v owners to play full versions of their PS4 games on their phones, via Wi-Fi.
http://media.bestofmicro.com/4/5/504293/gallery/xperia-z4v-cases_w_600.png (http://www.tomshardware.com/gallery/xperia-z4v-cases,0101-504293-0-2-12-1-png-.html)The Sony Xperia Z4v will be available on Verizon's network this summer in black and white color options. Customers will also be able to purchase cases from brands such as Otterbox, Case-Mate, Tech21 and Incipio. The device will come with Android 5.0.2 out of the box.

Sony Confirms Xperia Z4 ‘Premium’ Will Become World’s First Smartphone With 4K Display

Sony's (http://hothardware.com/tags/sony) upcoming Z5 flagship smartphone (http://hothardware.com/tags/smartphone) looks to live up to that denotation. Officially called the Z5 Premium, this high-end offering is set to offer a fingerprint sensor (http://hothardware.com/tags/sensor) on the side, a mammoth 23 megapixel camera with top-rate focusing capabilities, and even happens to be waterproof.
Oh - and let's not ignore the one spec that's going to turn most heads: the Z5 Premium also features a 4K (http://hothardware.com/tags/4k) display.

http://hothardware.com/ContentImages/NewsItem/34892/content/Sony_Xperia.jpg Let's put things into perspective. Most higher-end phones today offer a 1080p resolution, and on a 5.5-inch model, that gives us a ppi of ~400. Sony's phone, by offering a ridiculous (and I do mean ridiculous) resolution of 3840x2160, would give us ~1600 ppi (4K is exactly 4x 1080p). By comparison, a 4K 30-inch display would give a ppi of about 150, so it really shows just how ridiculously small each one of the pixels on Sony's new phone will be.
While Sony isn't expected to properly unveil its new flagship (and two other models) until later this week, a video leaked to YouTube (http://hothardware.com/tags/youtube) from a French website that spilled the beans. Unfortunately, that video has (not surprisingly) been removed, so now we have nothing to do but wait a few days for the Sony to back these details up.

Ecra 4K?

A LG vai lançar novas TV OLED.
