Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S2 Once Again Pegged To Be World’s Thinnest Tablet

Its been a while since we last heard about Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S2. The Korean manufacturer seems to have some good plans for this year, with its upgrade to the Tab lineup rumored to boast some impressive specifications indeed. By the looks of things so far, the Galaxy Tab S2 (http://wccftech.com/samsung-launch-galaxy-tab-s2-ipad-air-2-competition/) will stand in direct competition to Apple’s iPad Air 2, launched last year. The device is rumored to come with the Eynos 7420 on board and will be thinner than Apple’s highly popular iPad upgrade. We’ve managed to get hold of some more information related to the Tab S2, and it further confirms what’s being speculated so far.

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S2 To Follow Galaxy S6 In Design Language France’s infamous Onleaks is back, and this time he claims to have some scoop on Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S2 upgrade. We’ve been hearing for quite a while now, courtesy of insiders, that the Galaxy Tab S2 (http://wccftech.com/galaxy-s2-tabs-specs-leak-good-news/)duo can be expected to come with a thickness of 5.4 mm, which will be a complete 0.7 mm thinner than the iPad Air 2, which stands at 6.1 mm. We’ve also seen benchmarks of the device being posted, which peg the device with an octa core Exynos processor and the Mali T760 on board, coupled with 3 GB of RAM on board.
Seems like Samsung aiming for a thickness within the range of 5.5 mm might be true after all, given that Onleak’s information further corroborates all that we’ve been hearing about the Galaxy Tab S2 so far. Samsung’s tablet upgrade is further expected to come in two variations, of 8.0 and 9.7 inches respectively. Samsung’s also started testing the device (http://wccftech.com/galaxy-tab-s2/), according to some sources, so it shouldn’t be long before we get to learn more about the device. Stay tuned and let us know what you think in the comments section. We’ll keep you updated. Cheers.

Samsung creates a massive touchscreen piano with 112 x Galaxy Tab S2s

Samsung has used 112 of its Galayx Tab S2 tablets to make something quite unique - a gigantic touchscreen piano.

The full-sized piano is part of a Christmas display in London's Spitalfields Market, and is fully functional. Using the host of the British reality show Pop Star to Opera Star Myleene Klass, Samsung unveiled "the world's first upright piano made entirely out of Samsung tablets".

But the Galaxy Tab S2-powered piano also features an equalizer, an amplifier, two speakers, and a USB interface to get it all working. Out of the entire 112 tablets used, 106 of them aren't used to make music - the 106 x Galaxy Tab S2s are used to create Christmas-themed animations.
