Huawei Honor 7 Plus’ Hardware Specifications Gets Leaked

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei’s onslaught of releasing a phalanx of smartphones is far from over. After announcing its P8, P8 Max and P8 Lite (http://wccftech.com/huaweis-p8-packs-cannon-rear-smartphone-camera-sensor-powerful-hardware-specifications/), along with its Honor 6 Plus (for a price of $403) (http://wccftech.com/huaweis-honor-6-announced-april-price-tag-approx-403/) the company’s Honor 7 Plus’ hardware specifications have been leaked, thanks to a reliable source (http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/05/05/huawei-honor-7-plus-picture-and-specs-leaked/). Starting off, Huawei’s high-end handsets feature its homegrown Kirin SoC and similar to the firm’s MediaPad X2, Honor 7 Plus is expected to feature Kirin 930 (not Kirin 940, or 950 (http://wccftech.com/5-upcoming-smartphone-chipsets-supercharge-handset/)). The chipset which will be running an octa-core processor, whose details are currently unavailable.
http://cdn3.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/honor_6_plus6-635x334.jpg (http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/honor_6_plus6.jpg)
Honor 7 Plus Rumored To Possess 5.5 Inch Display With 2K Resolution, 3 GB Of RAM And A ‘Not So Cheap’ Price Tag Since Honor 7 Plus is meant to be the direct successor of the company’s Honor 6 Plus (which packs a Kirin 925 SoC), it would be fitting to see the handset sport a Kirin 930 chipset. However, the octa-core processor details are currently elusive since there is no evidence to suggest that Kirin 930 will sport one quad-core Cortex-A57 or a Cortex-A53e (Cortex-A53e is currently present in Huawei’s MediaPad X2 (http://wccftech.com/huawei-details-performance-kirin-930-cortexa53e-cores-superior-performance/)). We won’t be surprised if the company resorts to incorporating a Cortex-A53e, seeing as how Cortex-A57 has a lust for power consumption.
Honor 7 Plus will maintain the same screen size as its predecessor, but will have its resolution upgraded from 1080p to 1440p on its 5.5 inch frame. However, similarities between Honor 7 Plus and Honor 6 Plus will include featuring the same amount of RAM and the same amount of on-board memory (16 GB for the starting model). At this point, we feel that Huawei should expand the gap of its mobile devices and introduce a smartphone boasting 4 GB of RAM. The fact that Lenovo K80 (http://wccftech.com/lenovo-k80-samsung-galaxy-s6-priceperformance-comparison/) and other devices are armed with 4 GB of RAM should be sufficient motivation for the company. Additionally, if Honor 7 Plus gets an 802.11 ac Wi-Fi adapter upgrade; that should not cause our jaws to drop to the floor, as Honor 6 Plus was only limited to the 802.11 n wireless standard.

However, both camera sensors of Honor 7 Plus are going to exceed the capabilities of its lesser performing brother. The upcoming 5.5 inch behemoth is going to feature a 16/13 megapixel rear and front camera combination sensor, and we have to say that that is one heck of camera sensor duo. Due to a powerful processor and dense resolution in comparison to Honor 6 Plus, the device is going to feature a whopping 4,000 mAh battery, which if used properly, can last up to 48 hours.

That’s not all the news that we have for you. Huawei will also be launching a smaller Honor 7 variant that will feature a twin-lens rear camera. Unfortunately, as far as the release dates and pricing details go, we are currently being kept in the dark. More information will be made available as soon as it leaked. If the rumored hardware specs end up being true, then we will have a true successor on our hands.

Huawei Honor 7 Expected Price Rumored To Be $599

There were several rumors stating that Huawei’s upcoming smartphone, Honor 7 will be shipped out sporting the company’s own Kirin OS (http://wccftech.com/huawei-reported-form-platform-kirin-os/), while the other one will be running Android Lollipop. Now, according to the latest specifications, the upcoming smartphone is not going to be a cheaply priced one, since My Drivers has reported that the starting price of Honor 7 is going to be $599. In short, consumers with thick wallets and an even bigger bank account will have the financial capacity to purchase this mobile power house.
http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/honor-7-price.jpg (http://cdn4.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/honor-7-price.jpg)
Huawei Honor 7 Will Be Packing A Kirin 935 SoC, Along With 4 GB RAM And 64 GB Of Internal Storage According to My Drivers (http://news.mydrivers.com/1/435/435380.htm), Honor 7 is going to be unveiled on July 30 in China. The website states that Huawei is also rolling out a lesser performing variant of Honor 7; one that will feature 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. So far, the source has not cared to mention which variant will be stamped with the expensive price tag, but if it happens to be the 3 GB model, then you can already kiss the success of the handset goodbye.
Kirin 935 will no doubt outperform the company’s Kirin 930, but so far, no details have been provided on which processor duo is going to be present inside it. With several handsets being rolled out that cost less and perform better (such as Elephone P9000 (http://wccftech.com/elephone-p9000-features-amazing-499-price-helio-x20-4-gb-ram-present/)), consumers residing in China should hope that the $599 price ends up being a rumor after all. All models of Honor 7 are going to feature a 5 inch screen that radiates the 1080p resolution.

There is also a possibility that the upcoming smartphone might be incorporated with a fingerprint scanner, but unless the device gets showcased at the above-mentioned date, it is futile to randomly start listing features. The plus side to owning the handset will be that Honor 7 will be able to accommodate two SIMs and will feature a 3,280 mAh battery inside what most likely will be a metal chassis.
So after hearing the price tag, would any of you guys want to settle for Huawei’s upcoming handset? Let us know.

Huawei’s Honor 7 Sees Twist In Speculation With 5.2 Inch Screen

When it comes to Chinese smartphone manufacturers, Huawei has been at the top of its game recently. The company has managed to create a good balance between cost and performance. And the upcoming Honor 7 seems to be all set to follow a similar formula. With invites already been sent out for the device’s launch by Huawei, and those too with a fingerprint, one thing’s for sure. Huawei’s device will also be coming with a fingerprint sensor on board, which has recently become a norm for most major Android devices. Well, looks like the device won’t be that large either, if today’s information is to be believed.

Huawei Honor 7 Coming With 5.2 Inch FHD Display Claims Leaker Things have just gotten a little bit interesting when it comes to speculation surrounding Huawei’s next smartphone offering. The Huawei Honor 7 will be launched by the company on June 30th, which leaves less than a week until we get to lay our eyes on it. While so far the Honor 7 has been rumored to be coming with a screen size of 5 inches, leaker Antonio Monaco, known by the twitter name of @Cinquetacche is claiming other wise.
Antonio claims that instead of 5 inches, Huawei’s upcoming device will instead feature a 5.2 inch screen. Resolution according to him will stay at 1920 x 1080 or FHD. Given the current trend of larger screens, we won’t be surprised that the Honor 7 comes with a slightly larger screen. But all leaks so far point towards a 5 inch size, so nothing’s for sure so far really. The Honor 7 is expected to come in two variations of 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage and 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It’ll also be utilizing the company’s Kirin 930 SoC and will also be coming with a 13 MP rear shooter. All of this will be powered by a sizable battery of 3280 mAh. That’s all for the Honor 7 for now folks. Stay tuned and let us know what you think in the comments section below.

Europe gets Huawei's Honor 7

http://www.fudzilla.com/media/k2/items/cache/c3c42e0af6b8baba16a7d972c7ece23f_L.jpg (http://www.fudzilla.com/media/k2/items/cache/c3c42e0af6b8baba16a7d972c7ece23f_XL.jpg)

Can't spell it
Huawei brought its youth-focused Honor 7 handset to Europe at last with a cheap price tag and an out-of-date US spelling.

Despite spelling honour incorrectly, the phone has managed to sell more than 1.5 million in China since June. Huawei has invested heavily in the past couple of years to establish Honor as a standalone brand to challenge Xiaomi.
George Zhao, president of Huawei's Honor brand, said the handsets would be promoted and sold online in Europe, as they were in China. Zhao said the Honor 7, which has high-end features like a solid metallic shell and fingerprint recognition, was achieving high customer satisfaction levels.
The handset features a 5.2-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) JDI In-Cell Touch Display, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). It uses Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 935 64-bit octa-core SoC running at 2.2GHz and a 3,100mAh battery.
The phone supports Quick Charging, but you'll need to purchase a separate charger in order to take advantage of that.
The phone has a 20-megapixel rear-facing unit (Sony's IMX 230 sensor, Sapphire lens cover, f/2.0 aperture) and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter (f/2.4 aperture), both of which have LED flash included next to them.
The Honor 7 is a dual-SIM handset which offers 4G LTE connectivity and ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with Huawei's EMUI 3.1 skin on top of Google's OS. It will be priced at £249.99 pounds in Britain.

Huawei Honor 7 Smartphone Now Only £209.99 For a Limited Time

http://cdn.eteknix.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/Huawei-Honor-7-800x800.jpg
The Huawei Honor 7 is an astonishingly powerful mid-range handset and legitimate alternative to the highly-acclaimed One Plus 2. This particular device features a 1920×1080 5.2-inch IPS screen with a pixel density of 424 ppi, Quad-core 2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, 3GB RAM, 16GB ROM and HiSilicon Kirin 935 GPU. Unlike the One Plus 2, the Honor 7 contains NFC functionality, a microSD slot allowing up to 128GB of storage and a 20MP 5152×3888 rear camera.
Additionally, the camera’s phase detection autofocus and dual-tone flash works to improve image clarity in low-light conditions. The front camera is relatively impressive for the price-point and adopts an 8MP sensor. This is more than enough to capture high-quality selfie shots or sudden action photographs. In terms of video capabilities, the handset can record up to 1080p at 30fps using HDR. According to the press release, the Non-removable Li-Po 3100 mAh battery provides up to 48 hours of battery life. However, I highly doubt normal usage involving social media communication, video watching and other tasks makes the battery last more than 12 hours.
Perhaps the most glaring concern surrounding the Honor 7 is its software package. By default, the OS is a heavily modified version of Android 5.0 and not 5.1. Furthermore, Hauwei’s previous devices like the Honor 6 haven’t been updated and still running Android 4.4.2.
On a more positive note, the mobile has a fingerprint reader on the back where you usually rest your index finger. This means you can unlock the device extremely quickly as the sensor detects your fingerprint in under a second. Also, the build quality on the Honor 7 feels surprisingly premium for such an affordable mobile and uses a metallic body.
At £249.99, the Honor 7 is very good value-for-money but in a similar price range to the One Plus 2. Although, getting hold of a One Plus 2 is an impressive feat due to a long waiting list. To tempt users into purchasing the Honor 7, there is a promotional discount available between the 27th-31st which brings down the price to £209.99 (https://www.vmall.eu/uk/honor-7-grey-281214/). When using the checkout, enter the code, “H7BRAVE40UK” to apply the discount. While the device has some flaws, there are very few alternatives which offer the specification, 24-month warranty and build quality near £200.
In the coming days, we are hoping to receive a sample to conduct a detailed review.
