This is real audio of Bethesda accidentally discussing their E3 2015 press conference on Twitch.tv! Bethesda addressed this on their Twitter claiming the stream was a “test”, but I think we all know that it was a huge mistake and they instantly went into damage control mode! This was listened to by 2,000+ people live when it happened on Twitch.

E3 2015: Bethesda Finally Reveals Dishonored 2 – Coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One in Spring 2016

Well, everyone saw this one coming. After inadvertently giving out the upcoming sequel to its most critically acclaimed stealth action-adventure video game, Bethesda finally unveiled Dishonored 2 today during its E3 2015 press conference with a gameplay trailer that surely makes the new next-gen title look as beautiful as anything. The publisher was quite tight-lipped about the upcoming game and gave out no release date, but it did disclose the obvious; Dishonored 2 will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only.
http://cdn2.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/screenshot-www-twitch-tv-2015-06-15-07-39-09-635x359.png (http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/screenshot-www-twitch-tv-2015-06-15-07-39-09.png)
Dishonored 2 Looks Beautifully Dark in its E3 2015 Reveal Gameplay Trailer – Will Feature Two Playable Characters For a publisher like Bethesda Softworks, it is hard to say what’s in store for those who wait desperately for new installments in their favorite video game series. It is after more than half a decade of tortuous wait and afflictive whimpering that Bethesda has announced Fallout 4, a game that every single gamer who has traversed through the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout had been desperately waiting for. Seeing as it is, a follow-up to 2012’s best-selling game at this year E3 seemed 50/50, but Bethesda knows how to make its fans happy.
At its first ever E3 press conference today, Bethesda finally announced Dishonored 2, a follow-up to Dishonored that is currently in development at Arkane Studios, along with a gameplay trailer and a few details about the gameplay and setting of the game. The gameplay footage reveals a female protagonist on a hunt. The developer has announced that the game will have two playable characters, Corvo, the main protagonist of the upcoming game’s predecessor, and a female character named Emily Kaldwin.
According to the developer, the storyline of the upcoming stealth action game will be very exciting and consistent with a little mix from its predecessor. The game continues years after the events of Dishonored. Players who has longed for the signature steampunk assassin adventure will be pleased to know that Dishonored 2 will offer all that with good spice. There is no info on the release date of the game, which means it will most possibly come next year.
Taking about graphics and visual assets of the upcoming game, Dishonored 2 will definitely look more symmetrical than its predecessor, that much is for sure from the gameplay footage of the game. The game is being put together using the latest next-gen video game development technology for PC and current-gen video game consoles only, so it will obviously be up to snuff. But with Dishonored, you are not in only for good looks, the real element that will strengthen your affair with Dishonored 2 is, like the first title in the series, the main storyline of the game. Blended with awesome and epic moments, the trailer shared below is enough feast your eye upon for now.

Dishonored 2 will come packed with several new features that were only possible on the latest platforms. Whether or not the game will make its way to the last-gen PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in future is currently unknown. The game probably is currently under its early development and so, it won’t be playable on E3 showfloors.
Blended with awesome and epic moments, the trailer shared below is enough feast your eye upon for now.

Dishonored 2 – How Emily Turned from Damsel to Hero

Emily is the daughter of Empress Jessamine Kaldwin, who was assassinated at the start of Dishonored and Corvo Attano, the hero of the game also happens to be her father.
http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Dishonored-2-6-635x355.png (http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Dishonored-2-6.png)
Arkane co-founder and Dishonored 2 co-director Raphael Colantonio told Mashable (http://mashable.com/2015/07/01/dishonored-2-emily-e3-interview/) at E3 2015:

“Emily in the first one was really an anchor to the world,”. “There was not much worth saving other than her. So she became really interesting to us.”
Sequel co-director Harvey Smith adds:

” She’s special because she’s watching you. If you play very violently, she changes in the game. She’s special because she’s watching you. If you play very violently, she changes in the game. So people were interested in Emily,”
“You have this privileged girl who, instead of living the life she would have lived, got interrupted by this tragic event. But then she was raised by Corvo the rest of the way. So who would she be as an adult?”

Emily isn’t the only playable character in dishonored 2. Corvo is back as well, and it’s up to players to decide which role to take. The player gets a chance to pick between Emily and Corvo early in the game and that’s the end of it, there’s no turning back.

“We were trying to decide how … to break it up so you make the choice,” Smith explains, and the game’s lead level design director, Christophe Carrier, who came up with a perfect solution.
“He’s the one who recommended, maybe you play as Emily for like half an hour and then you get to this pivotal moment where a dramatic thing happens, and you choose at that point whether to continue with Emily or switch to Corvo. And then you’re locked in.”

Dishonored 2 features a new playable character, might be quite familiar to fans of the first game, but she has changed since we last saw her. Co-Creative Director Harvey Smith talks about Emily Kaldwin, detailing the person she has become and the powers she brings with her.

Graphics, Presentation & Performance

The graphic options are reasonably extensive, with a lot of the settings having everything from Very Low to Ultra. Following on from the previous game, you can even disable/enable rat and bloodfly shadows. There is a rather claustrophobic vignette that appears only when Emily or Corvo are crouching, which unfortunately cannot be disabled. Despite the accommodating spectrum of these options, I was unable to maintain 60 fps at 1440p with my current PC setup(Specs: r9 290, i5 4690k, 16gb ram). What I settled on was 1080p with mostly High settings and some of the more demanding on/off settings switched to Off (volumetric lighting, depth of field). This allowed me to maintain 60fps with dips down into the high 40s. I have to admit this is pretty disappointing, while the art style is just as gorgeous as its predecessor, the visuals don’t seem like they should be all that demanding.

After that is where things started going really pear-shaped. I was playing with my compromised settings, putting up with the occasional frame rate dip, when I leaned around a corner and saw the FPS counter drop to 18. I turned down all the settings to Very Low and all the on/off settings to off and the frame rate didn’t change. To be fair this particular room, the throne room right at the start of the game, is quite detailed with lots of flowers adorning the columns and there’s several dead bodies littering the floor. But I’m afraid something weird is happening here, check out the following shots, taking note of the FPS counter in the top left.

http://progressbar.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Dishonored2-2016-11-09-19-58-51-34.jpg

http://progressbar.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Dishonored2-2016-11-09-19-59-09-99.jpg

http://progressbar.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Dishonored2-2016-11-09-19-59-36-62.jpg

Facing towards the back of the throne room I get a solid 60fps, but after turning 180 degrees it drops to 32. Going back to the door through which I first entered the room it drops even further to 18 fps. Keep in mind this is all on the lowest possible settings at 1080p. I figured it was perhaps a driver issue. So I did a clean uninstall and then installed the drivers Bethesda specifically recommend for AMD cards. Frame rates were exactly the same in those particular areas of the throne room. I then considered that perhaps this was an isolated incident, it was early on in the game after all, perhaps it’ll even out from here on. Unfortunately this is not the case. Any time I faced a particular open area, as you can see from the following screens, the frame rate tanked. Now bear in mind not all of the below shots are on the lowest of low settings (I turned some of them back up after testing the throne room) but to be honest with such weirdly specific and enormous dips, I don’t think it’s got much to do with settings.

Narrative & Characters

The craziness starts just as quickly as the first game, one second you’re mourning your mother, the next you’re being arrested as a traitor. The narrative, the world, the lore, all of it is as intriguing and engaging as the first game. It actually feels great to be in this world again. There’s no disconnect between the two games either, Dunwall feels like Dunwall and Karnaca (which I’ve only just arrived at) fits perfectly with the universe set up in the original Dishonored. The new/returning characters all have me intrigued, and wanting to learn more about them.

One rather significant change is that your character now speaks, whether you play as Emily or Corvo they’ll now comment on things you see and do in the world. So far this has been enjoyable rather than irritating. Emily will for example reminisce about simpler times of smoking her hookah with friends, or lessons with her mother. At one point, after killing a traitorous City Watchman, she commented that he wasn’t fit for the uniform, her voice full of spite. It definitely heightens the emotional connection with Emily and her plight.

Gameplay

Enemies are a lot tougher now, especially at the beginning when Emily has no powers. Unlike the original game, they no longer have to have their whole bodies turned toward you to spot you. If you raise their awareness meter even a little, they’ll continue on their patrol but their head will be turned towards where they spotted you, making it quite difficult to get away unseen. Guards will notice if doors have been opened (even if they weren’t in earshot when you opened it) and when approaching them from behind, if you’re in their peripheral vision, they will spot you very quickly. It’s quite brutal.

I actually recommend playing without objective markers and just explore the levels organically. It’s a lot more rewarding to stumble across tucked away audiographs or hidden treasure. I noticed there were places I couldn’t get to as Emily in the first area (as she didn’t have blink yet) that I assume you CAN get to with Corvo. This could make multiple playthroughs interesting. It may also be worth mentioning that you can choose to reject the outsider’s help, forgoing supernatural powers for the entire game. I may only have seen the first handful of areas (as well as the Clockwork Mansion at the EB Games Expo), but I’m comfortable in saying that the level design is just as good if not better than original game. The scale of everything seems grander in general, you can climb higher, streets are wider, that sort of thing. It feels great.

Emily will fill out her journal as she progresses through the story, adding extra depth to her character, as well as keeping all the different political machinations fresh in your mind. It’s a nice touch that you have to actually interact with her journal to unlock these updates. Another welcome little addition is that maps you find out in the world will be saved in your journal, for future reference.

Here are some shots of the three screens that come up when you finish a level. They detail your chaos, items found and 'special actions' which are secrets or missable things unique to that level. Pretty cool imo.

Why Dishonored 2 is running so poorly
(http://www.pcgamer.com/why-dishonored-2-is-running-so-poorly/)

Estava a ler do guru3D e realmente o jogo é "mal otimizado".
http://www.guru3d.com/index.php?ct=articles&action=file&id=26735

Dishonored 2 is once again a console port made Windows D3D11 compatible. It looks okay to good, plays okay but if you like to run proper image quality settings (read Ultra quality modes) then you'll need a beefy PC alright..... At 1080P and Ultra quality settings your are looking at the 50+ FPS range for a GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB) and similar ranges for the AMD Radeon RX 480 series.

Here again I am going to make a complaint similar to COD: IW ... the game is 60GB install ?! It's time for software houses to get things better under control as such values for console ports honestly do not make any sense.

ethesda has just announced that it will be releasing a free trial for Dishonored 2 on April 6th. According to the publisher, this free trial will allow players to dive into the first three missions of the campaign as either Empress Emily Kaldwin or the royal protector, Corvo Attano. The free trial can be downloaded from Dishonored 2’s store page on Steam and players that decide to upgrade to the full game during or after the free trial will be able to keep all of the saves made during the trial, and can continue enjoying Dishonored 2’s campaign from where they left off.

A história é interessante.
