Galaxy S5 Neo Spotted In Czech Republic; Exynos 7580 Present

Galaxy S6 Plus duo (http://wccftech.com/latest-galaxy-s6-edge-render/) and Galaxy Note 5 (http://wccftech.com/latest-galaxy-note-5-leak-states-smartphone-feature-behemoth-screen-size-59-inches-4k-resolution-beefy-4100-mah-battery-usb-typec-port/) are already expected to be released by Samsung very soon, and here, we have yet another device that the company plans on officially launching; Galaxy S5 Neo. German website Winfuture (http://winfuture.mobi/news/87745) reports that the smartphone will be running the company’s own Exynos 7580 SoC (http://wccftech.com/exynos-soc/), which unfortunately is unable to outperform Exynos 7420 despite featuring an updated model name. If you guys are celebrating on account that Samsung has rolled out a faster SoC, you should settle down immediately. However, the plus side is that the SoC will be running eight Cortex-A53 cores, which should provide some degree of comfort, especially when processing performance is concerned.

Galaxy S5 Neo Will Also Be Featuring A 16 MP Rear Camera Sensor And Features A $490 Pre-Order Price Even though Exynos 7580 is also unable to beat Exynos 5433 present in the second version of Galaxy Note 4, the bright side is that it is running the following configuration:

Eights cores of Cortex-A53 running at a clock speed 1.6 GHz
A Mali-T720 GPU

Smartphone camera savants will be happy to know that the upcoming handset will feature a 16 MP rear shooter, even though there is no information on the maximum camera resolution of the front shooter. To provide battery life, a 2,800 mAh lithium ion battery will be present and the smartphone will be running Android 5.0 out of the box.
While all the hardware specs are below satisfactory (in our opinion at least), the pre-order price is a bit high. According to the website, Galaxy S5 Neo will be stamped with a $490 price tag that will available through pre-order in the Czech Republic. Winfuture does state that the smartphone will be officially available to purchase from retailers after July 3rd.

Concluding this segment, we have to say that Samsung is overcharging consumers, since there are tons of other smartphone solutions that provide a much better price/performance ratio than Galaxy S5 Neo. However, as well all know, there will always be loyalists belonging to the Samsung club who would kill to become a proud owner of its mobile products.
Would you settle for a Galaxy S5 Neo? Let us know your thoughts.
