Helio X10 Powered LeTV Le 1s Has Already Secured 11 Million Pre-Orders

We reported earlier (http://wccftech.com/letv-announces-le-1s-redmi-note-2-priceperformance-market/) that LeTV Le 1s was announced by the up and coming Chinese smartphone manufacturer for a very affordable price. Now, we have heard that the handset has already surpassed a hefty amount of pre-order units.
http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/letvle1s-6-635x395-635x395.jpg (http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/letvle1s-6-635x395.jpg)
Securing 11 Million Pre-Orders Of Le 1s In Just Seven Days Has Allowed Company To Generate Slightly Less Than $2 Billion In Revenue

According to a source, LeTV Le 1s was able to generate a total of $1.91 billion USD for the company in just a matter of seven days, indicating that the product was a huge success among the masses and why would it not be? A Helio X10 powered handset carrying a price of less than $200 will definitely be able to sell well. Despite the fact that Helio X10 is unable to match the performance of chipsets like Snapdragon 810 or, Exynos 7420, smartphones sporting the aforesaid SoCs do not come cheaply at all.
For the price of $173.99, LeTV Le 1s offers users a chance to experience the performance of an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor running at a speed of 2.2GHz. Aside from this, there is also 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM, which will deliver additional breathing room for smartphone users who have an affinity of running multiple applications in a single session.
Le 1s itself has a 5.5 inch screen size and radiates a resolution of 1080p. Internal memory of the device is 32GB, although one of the major disappointing aspects of the handset is that it does not provide support for a MicroSD card. However, what you do have to look forward to is that the device features a Type-C USB port, which will definitely provide you with higher transfer rates across. This data transfer will no doubt obscure the likes of MicroUSB 2.0 and 3.0 interfaces, so if you frequently transfer data across machines and need it to be done swiftly, then Le 1s will provide you with the ideal connector to make that possible.

http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/letv_le_1s-635x476-635x476.jpg (http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/letv_le_1s-635x476.jpg)
The smartphone has a 13MP rear camera sensor with a 0.9 second autofocus function. Its front camera sensor comprises up of a 5MP shooter. As for the battery capacity, Le 1s has a 3,000mAh capacity and according to the company, if the device has been charged for just 5 minutes, it will provide the user with 3.5 hours of additional talk time.
Thanks to the modem integrated on the chip die, you will not find an 802.11 ac Wi-Fi adapter running in the chipset, which is rather disappointing, since Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 (http://wccftech.com/redmi-note-2-sales-expected-exceed-10-million-mark/) is running the same SoC but is armed with a better performing adapter. Regardless, for the price of $173.99, it can clearly be seen that Le 1s is a popular smartphone for millions of consumers. Do you guys think that the handset can exceed the sales tally of Xiaomi Redmi Note 2? Let us know your thoughts.

Letv Le Max Pro Is Official And Packs A Snapdragon 820 Underneath Its Hood

If you wanted to see the very first smartphone featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820, then Letv Le Max Pro is that handset for you. The device was announced at CES 2016 so let us check the hardware present inside the flagship product.
http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/letv-le-max-pro-feature_2-635x468.jpg
Letv Le Max Pro Supports Quick Charge 3.0 And The Latest Fingerprint Sensor Technology From Qualcomm According to the press release concerning the smartphone, the company’s CEO describes Letv as being been the top innovators present in the world today. The executive states the following:

“Letv has already established itself as one of the world’s top innovators and our decision to include the Snapdragon 820 processor in these new devices demonstrates our commitment to creating and delivering the best technology available to our customers. Once the marketplace sees the dramatic performance enhancements in our smartphones, we are confident they will not accept anything less.”
http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/sense-id-sidebar.jpg
In addition to sporting one of the most powerful mobile SoCs released, Letv Le Max Pro also sports a boatload of other features ranging from the Snapdragon Sense ID fingerprint tech. According to Qualcomm, this tech happens to be the mobile industry’s first comprehensive ultrasonic-based fingerprint biometric solution, since it delivers a much more secure and reliable alternative as opposed to capacitive-based fingerprint sensors that are ubiquitously present in mobile devices all around. The smartphone also supports Quick Charge 3.0 (http://wccftech.com/qualcomms-quick-charge-30-cuts-smartphone-charge-time-dramatically-read-details/), and thanks to this latest technology, the device will have its battery charged up to 75 percent faster compared to conventional methods.
Advertisements

However, you should keep in mind that reaching 100 percent of the smartphone’s battery will still require you to plug in the device for a bit longer and the technology has been incorporated to give you a slight edge in talk time when you cannot find the time to plug in Le Max Pro in an available power outlet. Let us hope that the company bundles in a compatible smartphone charger otherwise consumers will definitely have to spend quite a bit on a Quick Charge 3.0 compatible charger.

As for the processor, the handset features a custom developed 2.2GHz quad-core Kryo processor (http://wccftech.com/snapdragon-820-leaked-completely-manufacturing-process/), along with an Adreno 530 GPU, tri-band 802.11ad Wi-Fi adapter and a Cat.12 LTE modem. While pricing and additional details of the smartphone have yet to be known, we are confident that Le Max Pro will come incorporated with ‘top of the line’ hardware, but you will still have to pay quite a bit for it. We will obviously detail out more specifications are they get revealed, but for now, tell us your thoughts on the newly announced smartphone.

LeTV Le Max Pro Brings Many Smartphone "Firsts" For 2016

http://media.bestofmicro.com/S/1/490897/gallery/LeTV_w_600.jpg (http://www.tomshardware.com/gallery/LeTV,0101-490897-0-2-12-1-jpg-.html)LeTV, primarily a video content company from China that also makes its own TVs and more recently starting building smartphones as well, unveiled the Le Max Pro smartphone at CES with many technological “firsts” for 2016.
The Le Max Pro isn’t too different from LeTV’s previous Le Max smartphone. The company thought the existing design was good enough, and instead of going with a full redesign with the Le Max Pro, it put its energies into bringing new technologies to the fore.
http://media.bestofmicro.com/E/T/551333/gallery/letv-2_w_600.jpg (http://www.tomshardware.com/gallery/letv-2,0101-551333-0-2-12-1-jpg-.html)These brand-new technologies include a Snapdragon 820 (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/snapdragon-820-performance-preview,4389.html) chip, Qualcomm’s next-generation processor, the ultrasonic Sense ID (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/qualcomm-sense-id-touch-id,28660.html) fingerprint reader (also from Qualcomm), multi-Gbps short-range 802.11ad connectivity, and 4 GB of fast LPDDR4 1866 Mhz RAM.
The Sense ID sensor promises to make fingerprint authentication more cloning-proof thanks to the “3D scanning” of the fingerprint. Although the Le Max Pro comes with the fingerprint reader on the back, just like the latest Nexus phones (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/google-huawei-nexus-6p-hands-on,30656.html), LeTV said that in the future, the Sense ID reader may find itself behind the front glass. As Sense ID uses ultrasonic technology, it can read fingerprints through dirt, oils, glass and even metal.
If all of these technological firsts weren’t enough, the Le Max Pro will also ship with UFS 2.0 flash storage, which is currently the fastest mobile storage standard available and promises speeds significantly higher than the latest eMMC standard. Samsung also used it last year in the Galaxy S6. The options include 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB of UFS 2.0 internal storage. The phone doesn’t come with a microSD slot, though.
http://media.bestofmicro.com/I/8/481472/gallery/ufs-vs-emmc_w_600.png (http://www.tomshardware.com/gallery/ufs-vs-emmc,0101-481472-0-2-12-1-png-.html)The device is quite large, with a 6.33” display, although it’s one of the most compact devices out there, featuring a high glass-to-body ratio, giving the phone an “edge to edge” look. The side bezels are almost non-existent, and the top and bottom bezels are quite slim as well. The display has a resolution of 2560x1440, which seems to be standard in large, high-end smartphones these days.
The Le Max Pro also comes with a 21MP camera on the back, with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), an “UltraPixel” 2.0um camera on the front, a USB Type-C connector, and Cat 12/13 LTE, which is integrated into the Snapdragon 820 chip.
The device has a relatively large battery of 3,400 mAh, although it’s probably a little smaller than what you’d expect on a 6.3” device. The smartphone will also support Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, IR, and MHL connectivity options. Dual-SIM is supported as well, but it’s not active, which means users will have to switch between the two SIMs themselves.
http://media.bestofmicro.com/A/V/551191/gallery/letv-le-max-pro_w_600.jpg (http://www.tomshardware.com/gallery/letv-le-max-pro,0101-551191-0-2-12-1-jpg-.html)The LeTV Le Max Pro will arrive with Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with its EUI (eco user interface) on top, which integrates the company’s video streaming services into the operating system, making them easier to access.
LeTV hasn’t said when the device will be available exactly in the U.S. or elsewhere, nor did it mention at what price point it will be offered, but we should learn more about it in the coming months.

LeEco has an L2 with Helio X20 coming

http://www.fudzilla.com/media/k2/items/cache/4b375bef16fc63e4679a332e7243b1c7_L.jpg (http://www.fudzilla.com/media/k2/items/cache/4b375bef16fc63e4679a332e7243b1c7_XL.jpg)

Artist previously known as LeTv
At CES 2016 we saw the world's first Snapdragon 820 device under the bonnet of an LeTv Max PRO. As of now it will be called LeEco Max PRO and should be in the shops soon.

This was a big phone at 6.3 inches. It reminded me of the first phones we saw at the Qualcomm demo event in November whcih had the same screen size.
LeTv rebranded to LeEco as because it makes more than just TVs these days. It also selling Helio X10 based Letv 1s 4G Phablets. This phone will be in the shops for around $199.99.
The Le 2 might be coming in early Q2 with the Helio X20 ten cores. The phone will have the 4GB RAM, which is a standard for most higher end phones in 2016. We expect to see a high resolution Sony sensor too. One can only speculate about the screen size but it is safe to say that the phone will be at least 5.5 inches if not larger (http://www.androidheadlines.com/2016/01/leeco-formerly-letv-le-2-rumored-to-feature-helio-x20-soc.html).
Recent Chinese trends are towards 5.5 being the standard for late 2015 early 2016 and that the phones will get bigger from this point on.
Early leaks of the Helio X20 aka ( MT6797 ) in Geekbench indicated that we can expect that a Single Core score of 2094 while the Multi Core result can climb all the way to 7037.
Helio X10 did a good job in 2015 and go tmuch attention from a lot of players. We expect to see quite a few phones with the Helio P10 and X20. Just a few weeks we talked to the CJ (Ching-Jiang) Hsieh Vice Chairman & President of MediaTek who expected to collect 100 design wins (http://www.fudzilla.com/news/processors/39633-100-design-for-mediatek-s-p10) spread between these two SoCs.

LeTV Rebrands As 'LeEco,' Debuts New Smartphones As It Tackles Global Market

http://media.bestofmicro.com/9/Y/564118/gallery/lemax-pro-4_w_600.jpgLeEco Le Max Pro (http://www.tomshardware.com/gallery/lemax-pro-4,0101-564118-0-2-12-1-jpg-.html)LeEco, previously named Letv, is a fast-growing Chinese company making anything from smart TVs and smart bikes to TV content, music, and even electric vehicles. The company recently entered the smartphone market as well, and it demoed four of its devices at Mobile World Congress (http://www.tomshardware.com/t/mwc/): the Le Max, Le Max Pro, Le 1s and Le 1s Pro.
Succeeding Through Ecosystem Although video streaming and TVs were some of the company’s first product categories, its recent expansion into multiple markets led it to change its name from LeTV to LeEco (as in “Le Ecosystem”). The company also said that it has an “eco-sharing” philosophy of being open with its consumers as well as its competitors.
LeEco said that its ecosystem-driven strategy has paid off, and it’s one of the reasons why one out of every three TVs sold online belong to the company. LeEco believes this strategy will also help it become successful in smartphones, as well. In the less than a year, the company managed to sell 5 million smartphones in China.

Basically, customer engagement with the company's services and other hardware products effectively subsidizes the cost of the phones. This allows LeEco to push out well appointed handsets at relatively low prices.

Expanding Globally LeEco wants to expand into the U.S. right now by using the same ecosystem strategy. However, the company recognizes that entering the U.S. market isn’t going to be as easy, because the culture is different than in China, and also because its ecosystem of services for the U.S. market isn’t as developed as it is overseas. LeEco didn’t say whether it will sell any of its devices through carriers or only through retailers, but it said it will explore all models.
The company said it has already launched the Le 1s and Le Max (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/letv-le-max-pro-announcement,31028.html), two of its most popular smartphones, to great success in India. This is why India, along with the U.S., will be two of its main target markets for expansion in 2016. However, LeEco also plans to expand in Russia and Latin America soon, as well.
Le 1s (1st gen) The Le 1s is one of the first-generation smartphones from LeEco, and it launched in China in October last year for only $169 (CNY 1,099). That price gets you a device with a 5.5” Full HD display, a MediaTek Helio X10 SoC with an eight-core 2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 32 GB of storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-camera, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and a 3,000mAh battery. It runs Android 5.0 with the company’s own EUI 5.5 customizations and content on top.
http://media.bestofmicro.com/9/W/564116/gallery/Le1s-7_w_600.jpg
Le Max (1st gen) The Le Max also launched last year for around $460 (CNY 2,999), making it the company’s premium offering. It came with higher-end features such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC with four Cortex-A57 cores (up to 2.0 GHz) and four Cortex-A53 cores; a large 6.3” 2560x1440 display; 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM; 64 GB internal storage; a 21MP rear camera with PDAF, OIS and dual-LED flash; a 4MP front-camera with large 2.0μm pixels (better for low-light); Hi-Fi audio; a USB Type-C connector; dual-SIM support; and a 3,400mAh battery. The device came with the same EUI 5.5-skinned Android 5.0 operating system.
http://media.bestofmicro.com/9/V/564115/gallery/LeMax-1_w_600.jpg (http://www.tomshardware.com/gallery/LeMax-1,0101-564115-0-2-12-1-jpg-.html)Le 1 Pro (2nd gen) The Le 1 Pro is part of LeEco’s second-generation smartphones. Compared to the first generation, the new Le 1 Pro comes with a higher 2560x1440 resolution display that’s also 5.5” in size, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip, and 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM (just like the Le Max). It also sports 32 GB of storage, a 13MP rear camera with OIS and dual-LED flash, a 4MP front-camera with 2.0μm pixels, Hi-Fi sound, USB Type-C connector, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
http://media.bestofmicro.com/9/U/564114/gallery/le1-pro-8_w_600.jpg (http://www.tomshardware.com/gallery/le1-pro-8,0101-564114-0-2-12-1-jpg-.html)The newer smartphone doesn’t seem to have gotten an upgraded operating system, as LeEco stuck with the same Android 5.0-based EUI 5.5 OS. Pricing hasn’t been unveiled yet, but it’s likely going to be similar to the first-generation Le 1s.
Le Max Pro (2nd gen) The Le Max Pro is LeEco’s highest-end smartphone this year, as well as one of the most cutting-edge smartphones on the market. It brings many "firsts" (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/letv-le-max-pro-announcement,31028.html), including a Snapdragon 820 chip, 4 GB of fast LPDDR4 RAM (1866 MHz), ultrasonic Sense ID fingerprint reader, fast UFS 2.0 flash storage, and 802.11ad Wi-Fi.
It will also have a 21MP rear camera with OIS, a 4MP front-camera with 2.0μm pixels (just like the others), Bluetooth 4.2, and a 3,400mAh battery. The device will be the company’s first to run an Android 6.0-based operating system with the its own customizations on top.

Os chineses andam a dar-lhe bem...ha uns tempos introduziram os dual sim, ja fizeram o super fast charging, agora fast reading...muito bom
