Star Ocean 5: Integrity And Faithlessness New Livestream To Be Aired Next Week

Star Ocean 5: Integrity And Faithlessness, the new entry of the popular Star Ocean series, is getting closer to its Japanese release date and Square Enix has been revealing more on the game’s new interesting features in the past few weeks. Earlier today, the Japanese publisher has confirmed that they will be showing more of the tri-Ace developed role playing game next week.

The next Star Ocean 5: Integrity And Faithlessness Japanese livestream, the third episode of the Star Ocean Program livestream, will be aired on January 12th from 20:00 Japan Time, which means it will be aired from 12:00 CET, 6:00 AM EST, 3:00 AM PST. During the previous Star Ocean Program episodes, Square Enix revealed some interesting new Star Ocean 5: Integrity And Faithlessness features so we should expect the publisher to do the same during the new episode. It will be possible to watch the livestream on the publisher’s official YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhkqt-gpTBM).

Unlike many other modern games, Star Ocean 5: Integrity And Faithlessness may not receive any form of post-release content. “[Fans] are looking for a complete package. If you make additional scenarios and packs, Japanese consumers would come back and say ‘if this content is available, why didn’t you put it in the main game anyway?’”
Star Ocean 5: Integrity And Faithlessness will launch in Japan on March 31st in Japan on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The game will be released only on PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe on a yet to be confirmed date.

Star Ocean 5 gets a beautiful new trailer, introduces a new character

Square Enix released a new trailer for Star Ocean 5 that introduces one of the main characters, Fidel Kamyuzu, and walks us through some of the action we can look forward to when it releases. The combat sequences themselves look rather dynamic and exciting.

Fidel himself seems to be a fairly powerful character, useful for a variety of reasons. And of course the battles are of the more active variety, not static at all. The graphics, though certainly stylized, have clean high-resolution textures and it seems to make use of AA fairly well. At 1080P with the screen filled with particle effects and tessellation, it looks to still run at a smooth 60FPS. That's not bad at all!

Star Ocean 5 is set to come out in the East on March 31st, which isn't terribly far away at this point. It'll make a Western debut sometime later this year, though no release date for that has been set.

Star Ocean 5 Final Japanese Box Art Surfaces Online, New Screenshots Released

The Star Ocean series is finally making a glorious comeback this year with Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness and Square Enix has been talking more about the game in the past few weeks. With the Japanese final release date getting closer, the publisher has shared earlier today the final box art for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.

The box art for both Star Ocean 5 versions is pretty much the same, with main character Fidel Camuze taking the main spot in the center and the other main characters placed all around him. You can check out both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 box art right below.
A few hours ago some new Star Ocean 5 screenshots have also been shared online. The new screenshots focus on Welch Vineyard, item creation, one of the main features of the Star Ocean series, and battles. You can check out the screenshots right below.

Star Ocean 5 should mostly run up to 60FPS at 1080P on PlayStation 4


Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness is being developed primarily for the PlayStation 3, but that doesn't mean that the PlayStation 4 version, which is the only version that'll be available outside the US, has to suffer because of that. Some of the differences between the two versions have been outlined by Square Enix and tri-Ace.

On the latest Star Ocean Program broadcast, they talked about the fact that the framerate would be targeting 60FPS in most cases at 1080P on the PS4, though some of the more challenging scenes might push it more towards 30FPS. The resolution won't scale, though and will remain the same regardless. The PS3 is limited to 720P, 30FPS and far less visual fidelity compared to the big brother port.

Star Ocean 5: Integrity And Faithlessness Receives First English Trailer

Star Ocean 5 Integrity and Faithlessness, the new entry of the Star Ocean series developed by tri-Ace, is finally getting released in Japan later this month. The game has been confirmed for North America and Europe a while back, but not much has been said about these versions of the game in the past months, but it seems like Square Enix is getting ready to promote the Western release of its role playing game.

Earlier today, the Japanese publisher has released the first English trailer for Star Ocean 5 Integrity and Faithlessness. The trailer, which isn’t exactly new, as it’s the same trailer that has been released in time for the Jump Festa from December, allows players to get acquainted with some of the game’s characters, locations and battle system. The English dub sounds much better than the English dub for Star Ocean 4, so things are definitely looking good for the Western release. You can check out the trailer right below.

Star Ocean Integrity And Faithlessness To Launch This Summer In The West, Trailers And Screens Released

After a quite a long time, the Star Ocean series, the popular role playing game series created by tri-Ace, is finally coming back to PlayStation consoles this week in Japan with Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness. The Western release of the game was confirmed a while back and now we know a little more about when the game will be released in North America and Europe.

Square Enix has recently confirmed that Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness will be released sometime this Summer in the West on PlayStation 4. Not much else has been said about the Western release of the tri-Ace role playing game other than the fact that it will come with a Dual Language feature, allowing players to enjoy the game with Japanese or English voiceovers.
A few hours ago, Square Enix has also shared some new Englis trailers for Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness and a few new screenshots. You can check them out right below.

Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness will be released next week in Japan on PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 3 version, which was supposed to release alongside the PS4 version, has recently been delayed to April. The old gen version of the game will not be released in the West.

Star Ocean 5 is starting to look very good given the hardware that it's running off of. Square Enix is targeting, and it will be running at, 1080P on the PS4 when development is finished. They've been able to optimize the experience to run at that resolution because it's only natural that it do so. There's no deception here, though final framerate hasn't quite been announced yet.

In these photos we get to glimpse at all three of the villains of Kronos, a technologically advanced world in Sector K of the known galaxy, which happens to be very hostile to the Galactic Federation that you'll be a part of. The screenshots show off the level of detail that Square Enix and triAce are shooting for though the ship is admittedly less than stellar.

Those three villains are known as General Arma, one of the more ruthless commander's of Kronos' military forces, Aron who is a subordinate of Arma and captain of an airship and Torus, a director of a planetary research facility that performs experimentation on humanoid subjects.


Star Ocean 5 is still scheduled for a full western release sometime this summer, though only for the PlayStation 4, we won't be seeing it on the older PS3 in the western region.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is indeed coming to the west with a confirmed release date of June 28th, much sooner than we might think for such large localization project (in language translation alone), but we in the west definitely aren't being left out. It's also available for pre-order with both a collectors edition and a day one edition with various benefits if you buy now.

Two weeks ago, Square Enix confirmed that Star Ocean Integrity And Faithlessness, the new entry of the long running role playing game series developed by tri-Ace, is going to be released this Summer in North America and Europe. Recently, the Japanese publisher has revealed precisely when the new role playing game is going to hit PlayStation 4 consoles in the West.

In a new post on the Official PlayStation Blog (https://blog.eu.playstation.com/2016/04/04/star-ocean-integrity-and-faithlessness-launches-1st-july-on-ps4/), it’s been confirmed that Star Ocean Integrity And Faithlessness will launch on June 28th in North America and on July 1st in Europe. Even though it’s the latest entry in a long running series, players won’t need to have played the previous entries of the series to enjoy Star Ocean Integrity And Faithlessness’ story and characters.
