J.J. Abrams talks 'Force Awakens' character Rey's parentageNoticia:Despite what the movie posters star billing says, Rey played by newcomer Daisy Ridley was the real star of 'The Force Awakens'. But despite following her substantial character arc, there's still a lot we don't know about her. Why does she seem to have such mastery of the Force? Could it perhaps be down to a strong Jedi bloodline? If you haven't had the chance to see the film yet - be aware of a POTENTIAL SPOILER:
Speaking to the Television Critics Association via SlashFilm, one plucky reporter directly asked if Obi-Wan Kenobi might just be Rey's father. Abrams answered coyly, saying: "I know quite a bit, but obviously it's not for me to talk about in this moment because this is Rian's story to continue now. The last thing I'm going to do is reveal something that he would be upset about. I want to make sure that Rian gets the courtesy he showed me."
Rian Johnson serves as director of the as-yet untitled 'Star Wars: Episode VIII' which will be released in May 2017.

Villainous Darth Vader Reportedly Force Chokes His Way Into Upcoming ‘Rogue One’ Star Wars Spinoff
Noticia:Star Wars has a new villain who wears a mask, that of Kylo Ren who appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the first of a new trilogy of sequels that Disney plans to release two years apart from one another. But what of Darth Vader? Rumor has it he'll appear as his old self in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the first of three planned spin offs.
The spin offs are standalone films that flesh out subplots in the main series. Rogue One will kick things off by focusing on events that occurred shortly before Star Wars: A New Hope, otherwise known as Episode IV (the original Star Wars movie released in 1977), focusing on the Rebels' mission to steal plans for the Death Star.
Such a plot presents an opportunity to feature Darth Vader as the main villain once again. A news and blog site dedicated to all things Star Wars claims to have it on "good authority" that Darth Vader's original costume "has been meticulously recreated" for the spin off. Lending credibility to the claim is the fact that Brian Muir, the British sculptor who created Darth Vader's original helmet and suit, posted an updated on his Facebook page last November indicating he's started work on Rogue One at Pinewood Studios.
A new actor is said to be playing Darth Vader this time around, though if accepting all rumors as fact at this point, James Earl Jones will once again provide Vader's voice. It's not known if he's already recorded his lines or if that will occur in post production, but either way, the blog is pretty confident Darth Vader is returning in look and sound.
Given the reception and overwhelmingly positive reviews of Star Wars: A Force Awakens, there's reason to be optimistic that Rogue One will be another winner, albeit on a smaller scale compared to the main installments. Gary Whitta (The Book of Eli) wrote the first draft of Rogue One before it was handed off to Chris Weitz (About a Boy, Cinderella 2015). Rumor has it that a third writer, Christopher McQuarrie (Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation), provided some last minute polish to prep the script for filming.

Fancy Building a Life-Size Millennium Falcon?Noticia:
Just when you think you’re free from Star Wars it drags you back in! After a long break, the Force Awakens came out and fans have been excited since. With news that the next film is delayed, what else could fans do but build a life-Size Millennium Falcon?
The US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville wanted to do just that. Why would you settle for just seeing it on the screen when you can sit in a replica cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. Based off the version seen in “The Empire Strikes Back”, the entire display weighs over a thousand pounds (that’s around 454 kilograms).
With around 300 volunteers from around the world, tasks are separated so that if you can be there to help build it or if you are at your computer designing that little lever to jump to hyperspace, you can help.
The project is not cheap, with aircraft ejection seats being used to replicate the seats for the interstellar seat. This would be fine if it didn’t cost $20,000 a seat (that’s just for the used ones as well)!
In order to avoid legal issues with Disney the project is self-funded with volunteers and donations of materials and other items. If you’ve ever grown up and wanted to experience what it was like to live in a movie, this is the closest you may get to it.

Watch the full Star Was theme played live by a single personNoticia:Besides arguments about politics and fresh memes, sometimes Facebook can be used for other things. In this case, witness someone showcase their amazing musical skills by playing the whole Star Wars theme, solo.
Here's hoping that he doesn't ensure the sacking of a full orchestra with these amazing one-man skills. You can view the video by clicking this link.

Check out this animated 'speedrun' of Star Wars: The Force AwakensNoticia:
Haven't had time to make it out to theaters to check out the new Star Wars movie? Fret not as it'll take you just a minute to get caught up on the action (quite literally).
1A4 Studio on YouTube, known for their animated "speedruns" of TV shows and movies, have applied their magic to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I haven't seen the film so I can't comment on its accuracy and whatnot but from what I've read online, it's pretty spot-on (and funny).
