    E as futuras!!

Error Fixes for Dying Light PC; Stuttering, FPS Drops, Lag, DLL Crash, Sound Issues, and More

Dying Light has finally hit the local shelves, and at last, fans of open world survival horror video games are getting their hands on Techland’s highly anticipated tripe A title. After GTA V’s release being postponed to March, Dying Light is all what graphics hungry gamers have to play this month, and thankfully, other than common bugs and glitches, the game is not all that bad. However, a number of players have reported some errors that affect the PC version of the game, below you can find solutions to some of the errors and bugs players are facing while trying to run the game smoothly.

Here are Solutions to Some of the Errors Players Face While Trying to Run Dying Light on PC

Techland, a video game development studio responsible for open-world zombie series Dead Island, recently launched a brand new IP that takes on the developer’s previous survival horror video games and improves heavily on them. Dying Light offers a fairly massive open world and pretty visuals, allowing players to traverse an urban environment overrun by zombies. The game performs quite well in terms of gameplay and visuals, however, there are some common bugs and errors that affect smooth performance of the game.
Some of the common errors that PC players are facing while trying to run the game and their solutions have been listed below. Before proceeding, you may want to check out the final Dying Light system requirements here to see if your PC is on the mark to run it. All thanks to Gamunation for sorting this out.
    Random Crashes/ Stuttering issues:

Random crashes and stuttering issues can be avoided while trying to run Dying Light by changing the resolution of the game if you are able to get to the in-game graphics settings. However, if the game directly crashes to the desktop without even showing the start screen, updating your drivers might help, as it has worked out for many players who were facing the same problem. Updating drivers is a pretty basic and easiest way to avoid crashing and stuttering issues. There are many tools available on the internet that can help you update your drivers quickly and easily.
Game Not Opening / Input Not Supported

When you try to run the game, you get “Input not supported” error notice. The possible solutions for this problem are:

    • Change the Desktop resolution to the Game resolution.
    • Or else, Reboot your PC. Then press F8 continuously until you get Boot options.
    • Then Enable Low resolution mode.

    Low FPS / FPS Drops:

If your PC did not meet the requirements for Dying Light, you might face some technical issues while trying to run the game. One of the issues your gameplay may get affected with is low fps or frame rate drops. Try to follow the steps given below to get rid of the lag and improve the game’s fps.

    • First, go to Task Manager.
    • Then go to “Details” Tab.
    • Now, find the .exe file of Dying Light.
    • Then Right click on it and select “Set Priority ” option and set the priority to “Real-time” or high.

Failed to Start the Game / Missing DyingLight.exe:

Sometimes users may get an error about missing DyingLight.exe when they try to run the game after installation. Your Anti-virus software might be causing this, as it sometime detects deletes your .exe game files during malware checkup. To avoid the error, make sure that you have turned off the Anti-virus software before you begin the installation.
Sound Stuttering / Noise / Sound Lag Issues:

Only a few number of people have reported sound-related issues with their copy of Dying Light, so simple solution to the problem for those who are facing It will be to update their sound card drivers. It might help in better sound quality without any lag and noise.
DLL Crash on Start Up / DyingLight.exe Has Stopped Working:

Many players have reported that Dying Light crashes on start up, giving error notice; “The program has stopped working as “Dllfilename.dll” is missing from your Computer.” If you are facing the same problem, you might want to avoid wasting your time by uninstalling and installing the game again. Try the following the given steps to fix this error without wasting any extra time.

    • Download the Dll-Files Fixer from here.
    • After downloading, run the tool.
    • Then, it will scan your PC for Dll errors. It generally takes 5-10 minutes.
    • After that, you can directly fix the errors through one click.

    Dying Light SLI Stutter Fix:

Those who are playing Dying Light on SLI, and are facing stutter while doing so, can try this method to avoid the problem.

    • Go to [Steam path]\userdata\[user ID]\remote\out\logs
    • Then select properties.
    • Now, mark “Read only option”. You may need to click on it twice for this to work out.

Now, select the security tab and hit the Edit button. Select your username from the list. Below that, check the deny box next to “Modify,” it should automatically check the sub-options given below it as well. Click OK and Yes to the next prompt that appears.

Dying Light filled with all sorts of problems on the PC

Dying Light launched yesterday, but it looks like the PC version is filled with various performance-related issues, as most games are these days that are multi-platform.

Techland has been seeing Dying Light gamers experience random crashes and stuttering issues, low FPS or FPS drops, sound stuttering or noise and sound lag issues, DLL crashes on startup of "DyingLight.exe has stopped working", SLI problems, and even a total failure of starting the game itself. There are various things you can do to get around these issues, but I think there's a bigger issue at hand here: why are these problems here in the first place?

Dying Light isn't a small game on Early Access (which if it was, it would probably not have 75% of these issues). But, if you need to get it working and you're experiencing these issues, you're going to have to do some work to get it working.

    Dying Light Gets NVIDIA GameWorked!

Every enthusiastic gamer is aware of the wide variety of genres to choose from. Certainly the run for your life, and kill all the zombies you can to survive in post -war apocalypse has been hashed a time or two. But what alters the gaming experience from one title to the next, is often likely to be the implementation light and shadows, especially if one should find themselves in "Dying Light" as night time falls.
    * The following content had been provided from NVIDIA to supplement this newspost.

Dying Light is a new first-person, zombie-slaying, freerunning-filled action game from Techland, creators of the Call of Juarez and Dead Island franchises. If you played Dead Island, much of Dying Light will be familiar: there's 4-player online co-op, weapon crafting, looting, levelling, mutated super zombies, and open-world exploration. Techland has of course refined those features extensively for Dying Light, and has expanded the scope of the game with a number of key changes.

Enlightened: the shift from day to night is a key element in Dying Light's gameplay.
Leslie Pirritano writes in an NVIDIA blog post, just how effective the NVIDIA GAMWORKS treatment is:
"One of the things that sets Dying Light apart is its dynamic day and night cycle. This is a game that counts on lighting to set the mood. And that’s where NVIDIA GameWorks – and our NVIDIA ShadowWorks visual effects library – comes in.

Seeing the light: when light is a key part of the gameplay, as it is in Dying Light, lighting is a key technology.
NVIDIA HBAO+ handles the work of lighting and shadowing. It adds realistic shadowing and shading around objects and surfaces. It’s more precise than previous AO techniques. So, the result isn’t just better lighting. It’s lighting that doesn’t get in the way of great performance. It delivers, among other things, a more immersive zombie outbreak."

To see Dying Light at its best, grab the new GeForce Game Ready driver, release 347.25 WHQL. This Game Ready WHQL, released last week with the new GeForce GTX 960 ensures you’ll have the best possible gaming experience with Dying Light.

    Comparação entre a PS4 e PC. Dying Light Face-Off: PC vs. PS4
