Universal Studios Japan has life-size AoT Titans
Noticia:Although Attack on Titan could be pegged as just an alternate take on the tired zombie formula, its the size and grinning faces of the titans that makes it so unnerving. That and they’re enormous and much harder to kill than your average head-shot deaddite. Still, that doesn’t mean people wouldn’t like to take a few pictures with them, so fortunately for fans visiting Japan, they can now snap some with to-scale statues of titans, in a new set of exhibits celebrating the manga sensation. It arrives alongside new exhibits for Evangelion, Resident Evil and Monster Hunter too.
*Warning* For those that have yet to watch the series, bare in mind that this post will contain some basic spoilers from the anime. *Warning*
The models are excuisitly made and painted, right down to the strings of saliva in the ‘smiling’ titan’s gaping maw.
There’s also a giant statue of Eren and the female Titan duking it out, though the former seems to be doing a far better job of blocking that kick than he did in the forest of the giant trees.
Indoors, there’s a bunch of Attack on Titan merchandise available, including pins, cloaks and uniforms alongside little plushies of OCD-maid Levi. Full character statues feature too though, with some slightly creepy versions of Armin, Levi and Mikasa all on show.
The Evangelion exhibit is dominated by a 4D cinema experience, which is wonderfully advertised in this short video:
As cool as all that is though, the Monster Hunter exhibit looks like something to behold, with life-size models of the games’ biggest monsters. A few Rathians could make short work of the titans I think.

Lando Calrissian may return to a galaxy far, far away
Noticia:With the return of Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia to the next 'Star Wars' sequel 'The Force Awakens', some fans have questioned why the galaxy's smoothest dude Lando Calrissian hasn't yet made return. While Billy Dee Williams returned to the franchise voicing his CG animated character in the 'Star Wars: Rebels' TV show in the episode 'Idiot's Array', Williams has made his first comments on his possible live-action return.
Speaking with Cinelinx to promote his 'Rebels' guest starring role, Williams says: "I have a feeling I'm going to show up. There's nothing I can really discuss about it at this stage... I didn't come in until the second movie. I did 'Empire' and then I did 'Return of the Jedi', but I came in after everyone else was introduced. So I think they're probably proceeding in that way."
The next 'Star Wars' film; 'The Force Awakens' is currently scheduled for a 3D, IMAX and 2D worldwide release on December 18th, 2015.

'Fifty Shades of Grey' grosses massive $240m haul in under a week
Noticia:Released just days ago and despite poor reviews (rated at just 26% on Rotten Tomatoes) the adaptation of EL James 'Fifty Shades of Grey' has amassed an amazing haul of $240 million worldwide from 59 markets, making it the one of the biggest openings for an R-rated film.
Made for an economical $40 million, the success of the film ensures that the proposed second and third movies in the 'Shades' trilogy will now go into production for Universal Studios, with stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan already signed. The 2011 erotic romance novel by E. L. James famously started life as fan fiction for 'Twilight' and has sold over 100 million copies worldwide.

Assassin’s Creed Movie Begins ProductionNoticia:The Assassin’s Creed movie has officially begun production and filming is scheduled to start very soon. Ubisoft’s CEO, Yves Guillemot, has shared information regarding the project, during a meeting and characterized it as of great importance for the Assassin’s Creed franchise. The movie will release on December 21 2016.
Michael Fassbender, star of the movie, commented that even if he does not play video games himself, he is particularly excited for the movie.
“I don’t really play that many video games” Fassbender confesses to loving the world of Assassin’s Creed: “I just thought, ‘This is so rich,’ and about the possibility of it being this cinematic experience. So I’m really excited about it, and we’re working very hard to make sure that we’ve got the best and most exciting, original package.”
Fassbender continued,
“You know, we absolutely want to respect the game,” Fassbender said. “There’s so much cool stuff in the game that we’re actually spoiled for choice in terms of what we can use and what we can’t, but we also want to bring new elements to it and perhaps our own version of things that already exist in the game. But we’re definitely making a feature film, and we’re approaching it as a feature film, as opposed to approaching it as a video game. But I love the world. I don’t really play that many video games, but when I met up with the guys from Ubisoft and they started to explain this whole world and the idea of DNA memory — you know, I think it’s a very feasible scientific theory. I just thought, “This is so rich,” and about the possibility of it being this cinematic experience. So I’m really excited about it, and we’re working very hard to make sure that we’ve got the best and most exciting, original package.”Michael Fassbender will play a convicted felon recruited by “Abstergo” to explore the mind of his ancestor in order to recover a sacred artifact.
It has not been revealed who the ancestor will be, but it could probably be Altair. There is of course the possibility that they follow Ezio’s storyline due to amount of fans the beloved assassin has gathered. Although if they plan to greatly expand on the project, they could begin with Altair’s timeline as an origin story.
It has recently come to light that Marion Cotillard has also joined the cast. There’s no word on who the Oscar winning actress will be playing (it’s thought that the movie will be based only very loosely on the video games), but both Cotillard and Fassbender are expected to stick around for multiple instalments. Will they play the same characters in each? Based on the games, possibly not!
Ubisoft are playing a big role in the development of Assassin’s Creed (written by Bill Collage, Adam Cooper and Michael Lesslie), and are hoping to get Splinter Cell moving along soon. That one has Doug Liman attached to direct and Tom Hardy signed on to play Sam Fisher.
