    Boas!

    Cumprimentos,

As you can see from the official changelog above, iOS 9.1 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is without a doubt a mighty update that aims to fix a lot of things. Não pretendendo criar guerras, mas alguém me explica porque razão ainda se compram tantos iPhones?

    - Tanto quanto sei não dão para ser utilizados como pen (ao contrário de Android que é só ligar ao PC e já está);
    - Passar filmes para lá é um inferno. É preciso converter, etc etc (mais uma vez ao contrário de Android que é só mandar para lá, com o ficheiro .srt ejá está)...
    - Bateria fraquinha em praticamente todos os modelos;
    - Hiper mega carissimos;
    - Jailbreaks e afins...
    - Sistema fechado;

iOS 9.1 Brings Quick Reply Feature For WhatsApp On iPhone

Even though the arrival of iOS 9.1 brought a handful of internal improvements as well as some new additives, there was another feature updated in one of the apps that was due for a long while. For all of those with an iPhone who loves WhatsApp way to enough to switch, the IM app is finally updated with the Quick Reply feature. This is a simple feature, but all in all very handy at times.

The Quick Reply feature for WhatsApp will enable users to reply to their contact right from the Notification banner. All you have to do is pull down the Notification banner before it goes back again and type your reply. Gone are the days when you had to open the entire app just to reply. This is another reason for iOS users to update to iOS 9.1, if they haven’t already.
Let’s see if there are any other formal details about WhatsApp and how to fix the issue if it fails to service you with Quick Reply.
Use This Simple Trick To Get Quick Reply Working For WhatsApp

Initially, the Quick Reply feature was restricted to Apple’s own messaging app when it was introduced in iOS 8. Now, the company seems to be pushing the service forward so other third party apps can get advantage of it. Even though Quick Reply have been adopted by many other messaging apps, WhatsApp showed no hurry to opt for it right away.

Nonetheless, the feature has finally made its way to WhatsApp for iPhone. However, the fact that it came preinstalled with iOS 9.1 shows that it is yet another reason why users should update. Apple wants iOS users to update as much as they can, since a huge number of users have jailbroken their devices and updating to the latest iOS 9.1 will steal that status away.

Moving on, if you have installed iOS 9.1, but the Quick Reply feature isn’t working for you, there is a little thing that you must do. Firstly, make sure you have closed the WhatsApp app. Now open the Multitasking UI and force close the app and open it from scratch again. This is it. Now try Quick Replying someone once you get a message.
Another important aspect of iOS 9.1 update is that you can also reply from your Apple Watch now. Users are acquainted with preset replies or dictating options. If you have an Apple Watch, do try it out. As for now, share your thoughts about this update in the comments.

iOS 9.1, 9.2 Beta Jailbreak Exists, But No One Can Have It

Apple patched the iOS 9 – 9.0.2 Pangu 9 jailbreak with the release of iOS 9.1 download, and so far it’s unclear whether or not we would see another public tool to crack Apple’s latest firmware for the iPhone, iPad, iPod touch. But, today we have learned that an iOS 9.1, 9.2 jailbreak exists, but users shouldn’t expect to see it, or use it, ever.

Apple patched a bunch of exploits when it pushed out iOS 9.1 to the end users a while back, but today it has come to our knowledge that a browser based jailbreak for iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2 – still in beta – exists. This means that you can liberate your device without ever having to plug it into a computer and the magic happens over the air. If you can recall the days of JailbreakMe, then you’re not too far off from what we’re trying to imply here.
The revelation of the jailbreak was made on Twitter by Zerodium, and the tweet on the matter is as follows:

    Zerodium @Zerodium
Our iOS #0day bounty has expired & we have one winning team who made a remote browser-based iOS 9.1/9.2b #jailbreak (untethered). Congrats!

Now, the thing is, Zerodium has a business of buying out exploits, and in turn it does not turn it into a public release. This in turn means that we will never see a browser-based jailbreak in the near future, so don’t keep your fingers crossed for a while. But, there is a chance that this discovery will prompt other teams, such as Pangu and TaiG to start working on their own and release tools in the near future that can jailbreak iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2.

And that of course, is a wild guess.
Currently, Apple is only signing iOS 9.1 and there’s no way to downgrade to iOS 9.0.2 and jailbreak. Hence, we recommend that if you were wanting to jailbreak your device, then you still have a little window of opportunity to pull off the feat, provided that you’re sitting on iOS 9.0.2 and haven’t upgraded to iOS 9.1 by accident.
If you’ve made your mind, then don’t forget to check out our Pangu 9 tutorials linked below:

We really do wish that someone works their magic and release an iOS 9.1 – 9.2 jailbreak. After all, many users out in the wild prefer to use their devices outside the boundaries of Cupertino’s walled garden, and it would be a huge treat for those who are stuck on the latest iOS 9.1 firmware without a jailbreak.
Do you think an iOS 9.1 – 9.2 jailbreak will bear fruit in the near future? Be sure to drop your thoughts in the comments section below.

iOS 9.2 Beta 2 Now Available – Download Now

iOS 9.2 beta 2 for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch is now available to download for those enrolled in the Apple Developer Program.

Apple released the first beta of iOS 9.2 a week back, with the Public Beta build arriving for non-developers shortly after. Today, Apple has released the second developer oriented beta to those enrolled in the Apple Developer Program, and is available as separate download as well as OTA update.
If you already have the first beta of iOS 9.2 installed on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch then simply connect your device to a WiFi network, launch the Settings app and navigate to General > Software Update. The beta 2 update will pop right up and you can subsequently download it and install. Make sure you have at least 50% of battery juice available on your device in order to install the update, otherwise iOS will prompt you to plug your device into a power outlet to proceed.

If you’re a developer then we highly recommend that you update to the second beta os iOS 9.2 right away as the new pre-release build brings with it a bunch of bug fixes and performance enhancements. Furthermore, we will be digging into the new beta release to find out what’s new in this particular release, though we’re certain that Apple might not have slipped anything new at this point, given how big of a release iOS 9.1 download was.
If you already have iOS 9.2 installed on your device and are looking to downgrade back to the current public release, which is iOS 9.1, then you can do so by following our guide posted here. The steps are easy to follow and you’ll be required to have iTunes installed on your PC or Mac in order to carry on with the procedure, so be sure you fulfill all the requirements before going ahead with the downgrade process.
It’s great to see that Apple is pushing out new builds of its mobile operating system on a regular basis, ensuring that iOS 9.x remains as smooth as possible for the end user and a favorable platform for developers. We will be keeping a close eye on the subsequent releases of iOS 9.2 leading to the final build, so stay tuned to our coverage.
Developers on the other hand should update to iOS 9.2 beta 2 right away, especially if you happen to be testing apps or games for release in the near future. You don’t want to end up with a botched release do you? Of course not.

Hackers Claim $1 Million ZERODIUM Bounty For Browser-Based iOS 9.1 Jailbreak

Apple's operating systems might be considered as some of the most secure on the planet, but as has been proven time and time again, nothing is bulletproof. Not even the company's latest iOS build, it seems. ZERODIUM, a firm that rewards those for finding unknown bugs, has just announced that a team has secured its rights to a bounty worth a staggering $1 million, or roughly the equivalent of 1,333x 16GB iPhone 6S Plus units. Speaking of which, if you are in the dark about what the 6S Plus brings to the table, check out our in-depth review.
In order to succeed in ZERODIUM's challenge, the attackers had to remotely exploit an iOS 9.1/9.2b device to install an app with full permissions. The initiator of this attack had to be done through Safari, Chrome, or a text message, which means that multiple vulnerabilities needed to be taken advantage of, not just one (that'd be a bit too "simple").
    image: http://hothardware.com/ContentImages..._Plus_Main.jpg
With this attack being confirmed, it does in fact mean that someone with the right skills could install malware with full permissions on your iOS device should you fall victim to a malicious text message or webpage. Given the massive prize here, though, it's clear that this attack is far from being an easy one to pull off.

    Zerodium @Zerodium
Our iOS #0day bounty has expired & we have one winning team who made a remote browser-based iOS 9.1/9.2b #jailbreak (untethered). Congrats!

One thing that makes this success interesting is that it's the first time someone (or a team) has been able to remotely attack an iOS device this way in over a year. All things considered, it's safe to say that iOS is still a very secure mobile OS.
So, how on Earth does a random company pay out $1 million for the rights to exploits? Companies like ZERODIUM work by keeping their exploits secret, exposing them only to the right customer - customers that of course pay much more than they did. It's an interesting business model, to say the least, and because of it, it means that Apple isn't going to be granted a peak, so these flaws will go unpatched until the company discovers the string of flaws itself, or buys the rights to the information from ZERODIUM - if it's even allowed to.

iOS 9 Adoption Rate Breaks Past 66% Worldwide And Going Strong

People are installing iOS 9 in droves as Apple’s latest mobile operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch sees 66% adoption rate across devices worldwide.

iOS 9 Reaches Another Milestone – Installed On 66% Devices Worldwide

Apple has updated its developer website to highlight the current adoption rate of its mobile OS, with iOS 9 sitting at the top with 66% install base, and iOS 8 sitting at 25%, while the remaining stands at 9% worldwide. It’s worth mentioning here that it was just last month iOS 9 broke past the 60% adoption rate barrier. Today’s number goes on to show that iOS 9’s user base is continuing to grow, and with Apple continuously working in the background to improve its mobile OS across the board, it’s safe to say users will definitely upgrade one day or the other.

iOS 9 saw a sudden spike in adoption rate as soon as the Pangu Team released the first ever untethered jailbreak in the form of Pangu 9. But sadly enough, Apple acted in a swift manner to patch the whole thing with the release of iOS 9.1 download. Even with the jailbreak patched up, users still updated to iOS 9.1, all thanks to the introduction of new emoji characters, with a middle finger one being one of them. But still, given that iOS 9 is a brand new OS packed with features that have never been seen before on a mobile device, it’s obvious that people would want to upgrade to keep things fresh.

If you’re looking to install iOS 9 on your device right away, then you can jump onboard the bandwagon with minimal fuss. Simply follow our detailed guide posted here on how to get up and running with iOS 9.x on your device: How To Download / Install iOS 9, 9.1 On iPhone, iPad, iPod touch The Right Way.
If you’re sitting on iOS 9.0.2 right now and are wondering if you should jailbreak or not, then you can do by following our detailed guides posted below. Remember, you can’t un-jailbreak your iOS device without restoring it to iOS 9.1, which subsequently means that you won’t be able to downgrade your device to jailbreak once again.

Are you one of the many who installed iOS 9 on their device? If no, then be sure to let us know in the comments section why you didn’t make the jump. We love hearing back from our readers!

Download iOS 9.2 Public Beta 2 For iPhone, iPad, iPod touch

After releasing the second developer beta of iOS 9.2 just yesterday, Apple has today seeded iOS 9.2 Public Beta 2 and is now available for download immediately.

Apple is constantly working in the background to improve its software across the board, and having witnessed the release of iOS 9.2 beta 2 just yesterday, the company also took the time to release the second beta of OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan as well as the first developer beta of tvOS 9.1, the software that powers the Apple TV 4. Today, the company has pushed out Public Beta 2 of iOS 9.2, and it’s the same build which was released to paid developers yesterday.
If you already have Public Beta 1 installed on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, then grabbing hold of the second beta is a piece of cake. Simply connect to a WiFi network, launch the Settings app and navigate to General > Software Update to grab the new pre-release build. Keep in mind that you should have 50% or more battery on your device available in order to go ahead with the installation process. If you don’t fulfill that requirement then we recommend that you plug your device to a power outlet and go ahead with the installation.
iOS 9.2 is a pure bug fix and performance enhancing release and brings with it subtle changes to the fore. If you’re on AT&T’s network however, then you’ll be pleased to learn that you can use your Mac to initiate a WiFi call, provided that you’re running the latest pre-release build of iOS 9.2. We’re quite certain that other carriers will join the party as soon as they get the necessary approvals. But till then, you have AT&T to handle your WiFi calling needs on-device and of course, your Mac.

Fix iMessage / FaceTime Not Activating Issue On iOS 9 – Detailed Tutorial

iMessage or FaceTime not activating on iOS 9 / 9.1? Then here’s a complete walkthrough on how to fix things in no time.

Fix iMessage / FaceTime Not Activating Issue On iOS 9

In a lot of instances, iMessage or FaceTime would go into limbo before tossing you an error message saying that things could not be activated for the greater good. There are four possible error messages you can get while trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime, and they are as follows:

    • Waiting for activation
    • Activation unsuccessful
    • An error occurred during activation
    • Could not sign in, please check your network connection

If you’re facing any one of the above error messages, then perform the fixes listed below in the exact order to get things working again.
Step 1 – Make Sure WiFi And Cellular Services Are Working Properly

iMessage and FaceTime requires you to be on a working cellular network (with data enabled) or a WiFi network in order to activate.
    1. Open up the Settings app.
    2. Make sure you’re connected to WiFi that actually works. Tap the ‘Wi-Fi’ section to connect to a list of available networks. If you’re using cellular data, then tap on the ‘Cellular’ section and turn on the ‘Cellular Data’ toggle switch.

Step 2 – Make Sure Your Date & Time Is Set Correctly

    1. Launch the Settings app from your home screen.
    2. Now tap on ‘General’ then go to the ‘Date & Time’ section.

    3. Make sure that you turn the ‘Set Automatically’ toggle switch to the ON position.

Step 3 – Turn iMessage / FaceTime Off Then Back On

    1. Launch the Settings app.
    2. Tap on Messages and move the ‘iMessage’ switch to the OFF position, do the same for FaceTime (Settings > FaceTime – toggle FaceTime switch OFF).

    3. Restart your iOS device.
    4. Now turn the iMessage and FaceTime toggle switch ON.
Step 4 – Wait At Least 24 Hours For Activation

iMessage and FaceTime can take up to 24 hours to activate, so be patient till the activation is successful.
Step 5 – Still Not Activated?

If iMessage or FaceTime fails to activate after the 24-hour time period, then you might want to do the following:

    • Make sure you’re running the latest version of iOS, which in this instance, is iOS 9.1. You can follow our guide posted here on how to do so: How To Download / Install iOS 9, 9.1 On iPhone, iPad, iPod touch The Right Way.
    • Call your carrier and explain the issue to them, and also make sure that you can send and receive SMS, which is crucial for the activation process.
    • Try contacting Apple Support to help you out with the issue.

Apple is doing all it can in its power to ensure the stability of its operating systems across the board, and today’s release further goes on to show that the company is not resting in the background.
The developer and public beta builds of iOS 9.2 can be grabbed right away and the process of downloading it over the air is the same for developers and testers. Make sure that you connect your iOS device, on which iOS 9.2 beta is installed, to a WiFi network. Once that’s out of the way, launch the Settings app and then tap on General. In the list of available options tap on Software Update. Let iOS refresh and the beta 3 update will pop up right away ready to be downloaded and installed onto your device.
Before going ahead with the installation, please make sure that your device is at least fully charged. If not then we highly recommend that you connect your smartphone or tablet to a power outlet before tapping that Install button.
If you haven’t downloaded iOS 9.2 public beta already then you’ll be pleased to learn that getting to the grips to the entire process is a piece of cake, and best of all, it’s absolutely free. For full details regarding the download process of iOS 9.2 public beta, simply head over to this link.

Given the rate at which Apple is throwing out betas on a weekly basis, it goes on to show that the company is working to make its mobile operating system as stable and smooth as possible for users around the globe. But it’s not just iOS that is going through the beta treatment, with Apple’s OS X and tvOS both undergoing the same routine of seeing pre-release builds for developers and testers both.
Whenever iOS 9.2 final is released for the end user, we will have all the details right here including steps on how to install it onto your device. Till that day comes, we highly advise users running prior iOS 9.2 beta builds to update straight away to reap the benefits of the new pre-release software seed. After all, what could be better than bug fixes and performances enhancements right? We are sure you’ll agree with us on that one.

Springtomize 3 With iOS 9 Support Is Right Around The Corner

Springtomize is a jailbreak that allows users to customize a wide variety of SpringBoard attributes. The tweak is one of the most popular in its kind. Currently, the tweak is available for iOS 7 and iOS 8 running jailbreak devices, while users with iOS 9 jailbreak, are sort of left out. In this regard, the wait is almost over as the Springtomize 3 tweak is right around the corner with iOS 9 support.

Springtomize 3 offers a wide variety of customizable options like adjusting transition speed, hiding dock labels, customizing the dock and a lot more. Springtomize 3’s compatibility with iOS 9 along with the version 1.4 is the main concern of the developer. To make it possible, developer Janosch Hubner or @sharedRoutine has aided Flippo with the recent update which will be live very soon.
Let’s dive in to see some more details on Springtomize 3 and its compatibility with iOS 9.
Springtomize 3 Soon To Launch With Support For iOS 9

Springtomize3 is an essential jailbreak tweak for users who wish to customize their iPhone, iPad or iPod for a refreshed look and feel. The tweak offers customizable options that are previously impossible to achieve in stock iOS settings. Users running iOS 8 can take advantage of the Springtomize 3 tweak right now, while iOS 9 jailbreak users should get their devices ready as the tweak is very near to a release.

In the previous days, there were several reports surfacing about an unauthorized version of the tweak, which was uploaded to some unknown third-party repos. As a reminder, do not install the Springtomize 3 tweak from any other source as it can ultimately harm your device. It would be better to wait for the original tweak from its host repo.

Some of the well known features of Springtomize 3 are abundant design and animation variations, adding up to 10 apps on the dock, a coverflow effect on the dock, turned off page limit restrictions, lock screen customization and hide native app icons from view. These major features have made the tweak a popular hub for all customization tools.
We expect that the Springtomize 3 jailbreak tweak will run efficiently on Apple’s new iOS platform. Bringing in various options and tools for customizing newer devices such as the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The tweak currently costs $2.99 and possibly the pricing would remain the same for the forthcoming update. This is it for now, folks. Have you guys updated to iOS 9? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

´Lylac Lets You Customize iOS 9 App Switcher In A Lot Of Ways

The newly released Lylac jailbreak tweak lets you customize the iOS 9 app switcher on iPhone in a lot of amazing ways, enhancing your overall experience of using your mobile device.

The iOS app switcher has always been mundane at best regardless of how many times Apple has given it an update. It’s been the jailbreak community that has always waded in to enhance its functionality and taking things to a whole new level, and the very same thing has happened today as well, with a newly released jailbreak tweak which goes by the name of Lylac, available to download right away.
Lylac Is The Ultimate iOS 9 App Switcher Customizing Tweak

On the face of things, Lylac looks like any other feature enhancing tweak, but when you lift the lid and take a peek at what’s inside then things start to get better.
Lylac hosts a bunch of cool features, and one of them is ‘Multi-Center’ which combines the app switcher and Control Center in a ‘seamless way.’ Instead of accessing the Control Center and app switcher separately, Lylac’s Multi-Center feature integrates the two in a way one couldn’t have imagined. Take note of this feature, Apple.

iOS 9 on the iPhone 6s features 3D Touch and it allows you to switch between apps by pressing hard on the far left of the display. But with Lylac, you can simply trigger the app switcher by pressing hard on the far right of the display. A handy addition, given the fact that we naturally hold our smartphones using our right hand.

Lylac gives you more power in your hands by letting you swipe up to close background apps, or swipe down in the app switcher to invoke additional actions. On top of that, you also have the option of whitelisting apps, so that they don’t close in the background even if you try to.
Lastly, Lylac tops things off by bringing a great set of customizable options to the user, such as the ability to alter the amount of blur, offset effects and whatnot of the app switcher.

Since Lylac is a feature packed tweak, therefore it comes with a price tag attached with it. Hence you have to pay $1.99 in order to reap the benefits of it, and the tweak is available to download directly from the BigBoss repo. The tweak is only compatible with the iPhone so be sure to keep that in mind before going ahead with the download.

iOS 9.2 Beta 4 For Developers And Public Testers Released

Right on cue, Apple has released the fourth beta of iOS 9.2 to developers and public beta testers both and is immediately available to download over the air.

Apple released OS X 10.11.2 El Capitan beta 4 just yesterday for developers and public beta testers both, and today it’s iOS 9.2’s turn to gather some limelight, as the company sees it fit to release beta 4 of the aforementioned pre-release firmware for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
Just like any other iOS update, developers and public beta testers both can download the new pre-release build – beta 4 – directly over the air, provided that you have a prior version of it running on your iOS device already. If you’re planning to update immediately, which we recommend that you should, then here are the steps you should follow to get the ball rolling:

    • Launch the Settings app from your device’s home screen.
    • Tap on ‘General.’
    • Now tap on ‘Software Update.’
    • Wait for a few seconds and the beta 4 download should pop right up. When it does, simply tap the ‘Download and install’ button to install the latest pre-release build onto your device.

Keep in mind that you would be required to restart your device to complete the overall installation procedure. Also, make sure that your device is charged beyond the 50% mark so that the beta software can go forward with the installation process, otherwise it would stall. We highly recommend that you plug your device to a power outlet before going ahead with the installation, you know, just to be on the safe side.

We urge developers and public beta testers to update straight away to the latest build as it brings with it bug fixes and performance enhancements. Also, registered developers can grab the entire IPSW file of iOS 9.2 beta 4 directly from the Apple Developer Program website if they so wish.
Those of you who are willing to try out iOS 9.2 public beta right away can do so for free, and we have all the necessary details right here to help you get started.
If, for some reason, you feel that you need to go back to the current public iOS build, which is 9.1, then make sure to follow our downgrade guide which we have posted here.
If we find anything noteworthy in iOS 9.2 beta 4 then we will definitely update this post with all the bits that are brand new, so stay tuned to this space. Meanwhile others should rush and download iOS 9.2 beta 4 right away onto their iPhones, iPads and iPod touches.
