Graficamente é um jogo superior ao Assetto.

Falta ver como é a condução e som dos máquinas...nisto o AC é absolutamente brilhante.

Project CARS Might Have Bugs As it Hits The Shelves

The anticipation for Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios upcoming racing game is skyrocketing at the moment and the debate is quite heated up. The NeoGaf forums show that the developers take their game very seriously and hence a day 1 PS4 patch for the game might be released. And if you follow these links you’ll understand why the patch is being developed. Check these out here 1, 2 and 3. These are sourced from the players who have had early copies of the game and is something that is causing annoyance while playing the game.

Basically, the motion-blur is the faulty bit which is being reported more commonly than any other in-game problem. The developers are aware of these in-game issues apparently and might have solved them before the game went gold or we might have a patch to solve this as soon as the game hits the shelves. The developers are still unsure about this one and hence the explanation:
It’s entirely possible that this is a genuine bug though – so was the capture from a video or from a shop running the game? If it’s from a shop it’s worth checking if the game has the D1P patch applied since it may already have been fixed.

Project CARS Developers Are Taking This Quite Seriously

The Slightly Mad team has been very much active on the NeoGaf forum and has been listening and answering the players queries quite intently in order to better the game. The team has been quite open about any bug reported to them and has acknowledged that these might be something that they have missed. Their commitment to Project CARS is shown by the comment below.

Because about what I’ve said about the hundreds of people that have looked at our game in the QA process etc etc before it was viewed by the public, there is a small possibility here that people might have spotted a genuine bug, so despite it being a minor thing in the scheme of things, I want to get to the bottom of it. Call me OCD but a few hours of feedback conversion to perfect a possible visible error to a few percent of people who pay for our game is f*cking important.
The Project CARS team also hosted the possibility of a day 1 patch for the game revealing that the information provided might be true and will help them make the game better for the players. The developers clearly made their intentions clear of giving the customers a complete and comprehensive product from day 1 rather than a game that is shrouded by bugs which are fixed on a day 15 patch.
Ha! This is actually down time for me – the game going gold was super cool and the D1P being certified earlier in the week on the first submission was great for the team. In the scheme of things we did our best and made it to the finish line. I don’t see bugs like the one under discussion as a big issue because with several million video views it’s only mentioned by a few people or in direct comparisons. But the info here is genuinely useful and will be actioned internally – and that’s how WMD always has worked – people providing videos/comparisons and set-up conditions to allow the render or game team to fix stuff.
The Project CARS dev team is really setting the standards here and it is good to see the developers communicate with the community they hope to serve. In a time when even dealing with a customer has a separate code of conduct for companies, the developers exchanging their thoughts with the players is a goodwill gesture that doesn’t normally occur but everyone wants to see it happen. The least it does is create a pleasant change away from all that gaming hatred.
On that note, we salute the Project CARS developers and urge you to share your opinions with us in the comments section.

Project CARS: Final Preview Build Gameplay Revealed for Xbox One

Well its not all buggy according to the latest news covered by WCCFtech. The PS4 version of Project CARS already has a patch awaiting for the games release on the console version and apparently as you will see later, an Xbox One version of a patch is also claimed in the video below.
Project CARS on the PS4 has had reported issues on motion blur bug in the PS4 version of the game. In in such a testing time just before the release of the game, the threads on NeoGaf have been a bridge for the developers to interact with the fans and the gamers and understand the problems so that they can be made better sooner than later.
It’s entirely possible that this is a genuine bug though – so was the capture from a video or from a shop running the game? If it’s from a shop it’s worth checking if the game has the D1P patch applied since it may already have been fixed.
You can read the previously covered article regarding the bugs reported for Project CARS on our website, here.

The 16-Minute Gameplay Video is Quite Interesting in Several Aspects

Thanks to team VVV we have an Xbox One gameplay for Project CARS. The new gameplay trailer displays the different in-game action cams featuring in Project CARS. When in game, the weather is quite dynamic and can change at any moment with steady change in condition leading to the final result weather, adding to the features of the game.
The Xbox One version differs somewhat from the PS4 version in terms of the sensitivity of the steering which is something that’ll be fixed in the patches following the release of the game. The voice behind the video, the commentator, mentioned that the same cars were used in the PS4 version of the game for a better comparison. You can check ou the 16 minute gameplay video of Project CARS below to judge for yourself.

The game does look quite good but the console versions of the game have not utilised the graphic capabilities of Project CARS to its fullest. For reference, you can check out the stands and the audience to see what I mean here. But nonetheless, it will be interesting to see how detailed the PC version of the game will be.
Project CARS was initially announced for a much earlier release but was delayed to the 7th, 8th and 12th of may for different regions. The graphics looks quite fresh and the game is nothing less than amazing so keep your credit cards ready if you haven’t already pre-ordered the game. Do share your views with us in the comments section.

Performance Analysis: Project Cars - PS4 vs X1

The beautiful Project Cars is only a 17GB installation on PC

Project Cars is out today, with my version of the game currently downloading from Steam at a nice 10.4MB/sec. The HDD space required by Slightly Made Studios' driving game is just 17GB.

Comparing this to recent games like Titanfall which wanted 48GB of HDD space, or even GTA V which sucked up a huge 65GB, Project Cars is actually light on your HDD. Project Cars is one of the best looking games out right now, so expect a performance analysis from us on the game sometime next week. For now, this is a list of the recent games that have chewed up the most space on our storage:

    • Project Cars - 17GB
    • Grand Theft Auto V - 65GB
    • Titanfall - 48GB
    • Battlefield: Hardline - 60GB
    • Wolfenstein - The Old Blood - 38GB
    • Wolfenstein - The New Order - 50GB
    • Assassin's Creed: Unity - 50GB

    O meu contributo versao pc:

Racing Game Best Rain Effects; Project Cars vs Driveclub vs Forza Horizon 2

Robert Cram has released a nice video comparing the rain effects between Driveclub, Project CARS and Forza Horizon 2. The video showcases the effects using different camera settings. You can view the video below:

As Robert Cram explains, dynamic weather conditions in racing games are quite common these days, and help to give the racers a more believable and realistic feel, providing a more authentic visual racing experience.
The video pits the Xbox One racer Forza Horizon 2 against the PS4’s Driveclub and the multiplat release Project CARS. All three games use elements provided in the game and not in payed DLC expansions, like Forza’s £15 DLC which adds tropical storms.
All three games do a decent job with rain effects, but Driveclub seems to be the clear winner in this particular feature.

Project CARS is being released tomorrow for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The graphics options from the PC version of Project CARS have been revealed. The game features a wide range of graphical options , including Grass, Cars, Environments, Particles and Shadows quality to Crepuscular Rays, Screen Dirt, Bloom and Heat Haze.

Project CARS offers a wide range of graphical options for console players as well, a rather unusual feature in console games.
Project CARS Creative director Andy Tudor explains:
“Console owners should have just as much right to tailor their game to their particular preferences as PC players,” Tudor says, “whether that’s authenticity, visual options, how the camera reacts, accessibility etc.
“The racing genre is pretty mature at this point and many console racing fans are therefore eager to for this kind of additional depth, plus the racing genre is also very broad meaning this kind of personalization will allow fans of both traditional racing games on consoles and veteran PC sim racing titles to feel right at home.”
Here are the game’s key features:

    • The largest track roster of any recent racing game with 110+ unique locations
    • A wide variety of motorsports including GT, Touring, Le Mans Prototypes, Karts, and modern Open Wheel and 80+ cars available at launch
    • Dynamic weather, pit stops, and pit strategy creation
    • Dynamic time of day and endurance races including the Le Mans 24H
    • World-class graphics running at 60 fps with up to 45 drivers onscreen
    • Next-gen physics running at 600 fps and deep telemetry & tuning features
    • Competitive multiplayer for up to 16 players and the ability to create public, private and friend-based lobbies with ‘Join In Progress’
    • Asynchronous Time Trial with downloadable ghosts
    • Regularly-scheduled community events
    • Social connectivity with photo and replay modes powered by The Driver Network
    • Support for 30+ wheels, community apps, and virtual reality via Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus
    • Continual updates and further content after launch.

Slightly Mad Studios’ Boss: “NVIDIA have not paid us a penny”, AMD Working To Fix Performance Issues

Project CARS has just been released, and a lot of AMD owners have reported performance issues, even when using red team’s high-end GPUs. Naturally, some may have thought that this is may be caused by NVIDIA, however Ian Bell, head of Slightly Mad Studios, claimed that NVIDIA has not paid Slightly Mad Studios a penny in order to intentionally cripple the game’s performance on AMD’s graphics cards. In short, this underwhelming performance is not due to NVIDIA’s “grand scheme.”As Ian Bell wrote on the WMD forum when a fan asked him about the performance issues that AMD owners currently face:
“We’ve provided AMD with 20 keys for game testing as they work on the driver side. But you only have to look at the lesser hardware in the consoles to see how optimised we are on AMD based chips.
We’re reaching out to AMD with all of our efforts. We’ve provided them 20 keys as I say. They were invited to work with us for years, looking through company mails the last I can see they (AMD) talked to us was October of last year.
Categorically, Nvidia have not paid us a penny. They have though been very forthcoming with support and co-marketing work at their instigation. We’ve had emails back and forth with them yesterday also. I reiterate that this is mainly a driver issue but we’ll obviously do anything we can from our side.”
AMD’s Corporate Vice President IPG, Roy Taylor, afterwards revealed that AMD is currently working with Slightly Mad Studios in order to fix these performance issues.
Great chat with Ian, we love @projectcarsgame and are working with them now. Update to follow shortly, rest assured AMD on Project Cars.

    E entretanto:

    i5-3570k@4ghz
    AMD 280X@1150/1200
    8GB @1600 (don't have timings on hand)
