    LG G G Pad 2

LG G G Pad 2 To Come With Snapdragon 805 And 32 GB Storage

Even though the tablets market has been reported to be seeing a downfall in sales and market popularity, that doesn’t seem to be stopping manufacturers from launching their new offerings for customers. Samsung just recently announced the much needed and hyped about upgrades to the Galaxy Tab S, in the form of the Galaxy Tab S2. They finally featured an upgrade in many core areas of the tablets, but didn’t come with the Exynos 7420 as expected. Well, some new features have been posted today about the LG G Pad 2 and they can be seen below.

The LG G Pad 2 Rumored To Come With Snapdragon 805 And 4 GB Of RAM

Leaksfly is back today folks, and this time he has some information about LG’s upgrade to the G Pad. The last G Pad was launched by LG in 2013, and according to Leaksfly the device will come with a screen size of 8.3 inches. It’ll be powered by the Snapdragon 805, which should leave the device rather underpowered when it comes to today’s devices. But since its a tablet, we’d expect performance to be judged in other areas as well.
Screen resolution for the G Pad 2 is expected to be at 1080p with the Snapdragon 805 being supplemented by 3 GB of RAM. It’ll also come with 32 GB of internal storage, and come with rear and front camera resolutions of 8 and 5 MP respectively. Sounds quite decent enough and we wouldn’t expect the pricing of the G Pad 2 to be that high either. Leaksfly also claims that the G Pad 2 will be launched by LG this October, so the company has quite a lot of time to develop it as well. We’re going to see a lot of product launches in the next couple of months, so stay tuned and let us know what you think in the comments section below.

LG will show off G PAD II 10.1 tablet during IFA 2015

LG Electronics will show off the G Pad II 10.1 tablet during the IFA 2015 tech conference in Berlin, offering both an LTE and Wi-Fi version.

The LG G Pad II 10.1 features a 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU, 10.1-inch display (1920x1200), 16GB eMMC, 2GB RAM, and microSD. The device runs Google Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The device features LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity, and 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Pricing information and an official release date will be announced during IFA 2015.

"The LG G Pad II 10.1 was developed in response to consumers' feedback and optimized for multimedia consumption," said Chris Yie, VP and head of marketing communications at LG Mobile Communications. "Customers asked for a large display, bigger battery and faster performance all without raising the price. The G Pad II delivers on all counts."

LG G Pad II 10.1 Shipping This Fall With Snapdragon 800, 1920x1200 Display

LG unveiled the LG G Pad II 10.1, its highest-end tablet yet, which should come at an affordable price point this fall. The tablet will come in both Wi-Fi only and LTE, and it will be available in North America, Europe and Asia.
Although it's LG's highest-end tablet yet, the device looks to be rather a "high-value" tablet than a high-end one. It comes with a Snapdragon 800 processor, WUXGA (1920 x 1200) 10.1" display (as its name implies) and 16 GB of storage, which is a little on the low side these days, especially for a tablet.
However, it also has microSD card support, so that should help with the low internal storage, at least for media. If LG ever upgrades the tablet from its current Android 5.1.1 to "Android M," then that extra microSD card storage could be used to install more apps as well.
The cameras don't seem like anything special, with a 5MP shooter on the back and a 2MP on the front, which should be good for the occasional picture you're going to take with your 10.1" tablet, but likely no more than that.
The battery seems to be of a decent size at 7,400 mAh, which is slightly bigger than the 6,700 mAh battery inside the Nexus 9 for instance, but smaller than the 9,000 mAh one inside the older Nexus 10. LG said only that it's going to "keep you entertained for hours on end," without promising a more specific battery life number.
The tablet will weigh 489g, which makes it slightly heavier than the smaller Nexus 9 at 425g and about 100g heavier than the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet.
In terms of connectivity, the LG G Pad II 10.1 supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, USB 2.0, A-GPS and LTE Cat. 4 (but at a higher price point).
LG talked about some software features that the tablet has as well, such as the Reader Mode, which reduces blue light that can cause eye fatigue and blurred vision after long hours of reading. It also has a "Dual Window" feature, which allows users to play with two apps at the same time.
QuickMemo+, another feature, gives users the ability to create and share memos from any screen without having to use a separate app. The tablet also comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office for Android Tablet and 100 GB of free OneDrive storage for two years.
All the details about the LG G Pad II 10.1 will be revealed at IFA next week. The tablet is expected to launch in North America, Europe and Asia, where both the Wi-Fi and LTE models will be available. LG hinted at keeping the same $250 price tag that the original LG G Pad 10.1 had.
"The LG G Pad II 10.1 was developed in response to consumers' feedback and optimized for multimedia consumption." said Chris Yie, vice president and head of marketing communications for LG Mobile Communications Company. "Customers asked for a large display, bigger battery and faster performance all without raising the price. The G Pad II delivers on all counts."

LG G PAD II tablet is out

Snapdragon 615 and 8.3 inch screen
LG has just announced its LG G PAD II and this 8.3 inch tablet will be available soon.

It is quite late to announce new hardware considering that we will finish this year in just a week from now, but LG believes that they needed to do this in late 2015.
The new tablet is an addition to the 10-inch device that the company launched earlier and a real replacement for the LG G PAD 8.3 that was launched almost two years ago. The new LG G PAD II is using the Snapdragon 615 octa core processor as well as 1920x1200 8.3 inch screen. This is larger than Full HD resolution and for those who wonder the tablet has 2GB or RAM as well as default 16GB of storage.
LG pledged its alliance to Qualcomm as the original LG G PAD used the Snapdragon 600 and the new 10-inch version is using the Snapdragon 800.
Snapdragon 615 features Adreno 405 graphics, 8 megapixel rear and 2 megapixel front camera. There will be a WiFi only and LTE version of the tablet and both measuring 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.8mm and 366 grams.
It will ship with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and some office aps pre loaded. The 4G LTE is present with the 4G version of the tablet while both have 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The tablet comes with a built in stylus.
The price is still unknown and the LTE version of the tablet will start selling in Korea as of today for an unknown price.
