6-core/12-thread Core i7 for $200, i7-5820K Revisited
So, is there any need for those still running the Core i7-5820K to upgrade? In short, no, and as mentioned in the intro, we largely knew as much before even running the first benchmark. For gaming, the gains simply aren't there and we'll take a closer look at that in a moment.
Here's a look at the average results seen across the six games tested. Here the 5820K was just 10% slower and that's seen when using an extreme GPU on mild quality settings. That's certainly not a big margin and I can't imagine anyone would ditch their 5820K for that kind of gain.
Under more realistic conditions we see just a 6% decline in performance when using the 5820K as opposed to the 8700K and you can expect that margin to at least halve again when going to 4K, if not evaporate entirely.
So it's not worth upgrading from the 5820K to anything newer for gaming, we've established that much.

In short, if you're a gamer and you already have a 5820K, keep it for now.

Eu nem penso em mudar, completo desperdício de dinheiro....
Fiz muito melhor investimento ao ter comprado a PS4 Pro, não tenho a menor duvida!

GOD OF AWESOME SIGNATURES - KING OF GIFS - TRIGGER OF TROLLS

Intel 7nm EUV Node Back On Track, 2x Transistor Densities Over 10nm
"7 nm for us is a separate team and largely a separate effort. We are quite pleased with our progress on 7 nm. In fact, very pleased with our progress on 7 nm," said Renduchintala Murthy, chief engineering officer and president of technology, systems architecture and client group at Intel, speaking at the Nasdaq conference. "I think that we have taken a lot of lessons out of the 10 nm experience as we defined that and defined a different optimization point between transistor density, power and performance and schedule predictability. So, we are very, very focused on getting 7 nm out according to our original internal plans," he added.

Intel Unveils a Clean-slate CPU Core Architecture Codenamed "Sunny Cove"
Intel Gen11 iGPU Roughly as Fast as Radeon Vega 8 (Ryzen 3 2200G)Intel today unveiled its first clean-slate CPU core micro-architecture since "Nehalem," codenamed "Sunny Cove." Over the past decade, the 9-odd generations of Core processors were based on incrementally refined descendants of "Nehalem," running all the way down to "Coffee Lake." Intel now wants a clean-slate core design, much like AMD "Zen" is a clean-slate compared to "Stars" or to a large extent even "Bulldozer." This allows Intel to introduce significant gains in IPC (single-thread performance) over the current generation.

Finalmente uma nova arquitetura nova da Intel. Só de pensar que esta arquitetura Core já tem 10 anos e que nos últimos 4 nem sequer teve qualquer update de IPC....
