Apple iPad Pro Should Pack A9 Processor, 12.2″ Display & Launch in Q2 2015

Apple is expected to release a new member to its iPad range of tablets, the iPad Pro, next year. The iPad Pro will reportedly feature a 12.9-inch Retina display of some high-resolution, we’re sure, but it will also arrive with a next-gen processor inside, too.
The new iPad Pro should arrive with the next-gen A9 processor, which the latest rumours are pointing to. Previous rumours had Apple using a souped up version of the A8 processor found in the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which would arrive to us as the A8X, but the latest reports are kicking it up to the A9 SoC instead. We don’t know what the A9 will bring us, but we can be sure it’ll be increased performance and battery life, with a nice thin frame for the iPad Pro

Another look at Apple's purported iPad Pro turns up

We're getting a closer look at the purported iPad Pro from Apple, the company's upcoming (but not confirmed) iPad Pro. We should expect the iPad Pro to rock a 12.2-inch display, and might arrive to us as the "iPad Air Plus".

The leak is coming from an internal sketch released by a Foxconn employee, teasing what Apple's new iPad might look like. Not only would it arrive with a 12.2-inch screen, but we should also see a 12.9-inch version, both of which should feature Apple's A8X processor - but possibly the A9 processor - 2GB of RAM and a Touch ID sensor.

We've heard recently that Apple was experiencing manufacturing problems, but according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will not start production of the larger iPad until Q2 2015, as it is all-systems-go with production of the iPhone 6 Plus. We should hopefully hear more on the larger, and hopefully better iPad in the near future.

Major 12.9 Inch iPad Pro Leak Shows Device With Surround Sound Speakers On Board

With Samsung, LG and the rest having stolen the news this January, very little information about Apple’s expected products and lineup for this year has surfaced so far. Give or take a few leaks about the much talked about 4 inch iPhone from the manufacturer, the internet grapevine has been pretty much silent on Apple’s products this year. Well thats about to change today as we have what seemed to be the first solid piece of evidence that the mythical 12.9 inch iPad Pro from the Cupertino manufacturer actually exists.
New Photo Allegedly Shows Metal Casing For Apple’s Mythical 12.9 Inch iPad Pro.

The french site NWE is back again today, after posting the Samsung Galaxy S6’s aluminum unibody images yesterday. This time the French have for us what appears to be a sketch for the metal casing of the 12.9 inch iPad Pro. While we’re cautioned to not take this image too seriously, Steve of NWE claims that the source of this information is reliable and has passed on accurate information in the past, including sketches of the iPhone 6.

Alleged Manufacturing Mold Shows Remarkably Thin Apple iPad Pro

Apple’s larger iPad Pro has been picking up the pace when it comes to rumors and leaks these days. The iPad Pro is expected to come with a screen size between 12 – 12.9 inches, surround sound speakers and will be Apple’s first attempt at a larger screen tablet. The device will also be an attempt by the Cupertino manufacturer to boost iPad sales, which have declined over the past couple of years. An image appeared on China’s social networking site Weibo today, simply titled as the ‘iPad Pro‘.

New Leaked Image Appears To Show The Manufacturing Case For Apple’s iPad Pro.

As you can see, the image above shows what appears to be the mold casing for Apple’s iPad Pro. Little information can be taken away by simply taking a look at it, but one can nevertheless learn a little bit about the device. Firstly, as also expected by earlier leaked schematics of the iPad Pro, the mould shows what appears to be another thin device from Apple. The size of the mold also indicates a much larger iPad in the works than current devices found in Apple’s linuep.

Apple maybe considering a stylus for the possible iPad Pro

Apple Insider has leaked information that Apple may be developing a self-branded stylus to be included with the iPad Pro - reports claim that it may be named the iPen or Apple Pen. It's a rumor stacked on a rumor - but it does have some logical merit.

Stylus pens for tablet devices are actually quite common among older (40-year and over) crowds. Although I've never seen a person under 40 use one voluntarily before, my parents and grandparents are often using their third-party stylus devices to play Solitare and browse the web on their iPad 2's.

As with most official Apple products, there's no reason that this technology giant couldn't release a simple stylus, slap a $30 RRP on it and watch it walk itself out the door with massive sales - lets be honest, how much really goes into a stylus pens' design?

There are already Apple patents out there in regards to stylus design, with reports claiming that this bigger iPad will be catered toward a designer and business field. Further rumors claim that Apple may be thinking about a "3D Handwriting" feature, meaning that the iPad will be able to detect hand gestures through the stylus without it being within contact of the screen surface.

Once again, this is a rumor on a rumor - so don't take our word for it. But the information is logical either way.

Famous Martin Hajek Shows Us How He Thinks The iPad Pro Will Look Like

Apple’s iPad Pro has seen its fair share of images, leaks and news over the past couple of months. Well, Martin Hajek is back again, this time with renders of how the iPad Pro will end up looking in his opinion.
Apple’s iPad Pro Imagined With Bezel and Stylus

As compared to Mini 3 and Air 2, iPad Pro consists of a larger bezel. However, the design is pretty much similar to iPad Air and iPad mini Retina, a flat back and modish curved corners. Other changes in iPad Pro include addition of speaker holes both on top and bottom. Speakers are also well placed on right and left of the lightening connector. This will no doubt offer a crisp, sharp and loud sound to the users.

Would you like a stylus with iPad Pro? Latest rumors suggest that Apple will offer a stylus accessory to be used with iPad Pro. We all know that, originally iPads weren’t designed to include a stylus. However, now with this accessory’s release, enterprise and creative users will be the ones getting most of the benefit. Given that a stylus is more accurate than person’s fingers, it can be more expedient to use rather than a grouping of mouse and keyboard in some cases. Hence, we deem Apple’s stylus will enhance users’ experience of this 12.9 inch device. Sources believe that, users won’t needing a stylus primarily anyways. Coupled with its unfriendly price tag, a lofty selling price may turn customers off if it gets bundled with the 12.9 inch iPad. Notably, stylus won’t possibly feature an innate gyroscope, an ingenious count that would have made the software hand writing acceptance an appealing add-on.
Coming towards the specs of iPad Pro, it will pack in a 12.9 inch wide screen with 3072×2304 pixels and a 4-K solution backed with IPS technology and LED backlights. In a nutshell, though, the iPad Pro is much wider than its predecessors but it is as thinner as Apple’s portent flagships. Tell us what you think about the inclusion of bezel and stylus in iPad Pro. We will keep you updated in the meantime.

Um bom artigo que toca em alguns pontos interessantes, como a migração para os smartphones e como o iPad se está a tornar numa ferramenta para profissionais.

Nobody Knows What an iPad Is Good for Anymore

In 2010, the year the iPad debuted, Steve Jobs famously compared tablets to PCs using the analogy of cars and trucks. Trucks were essential when we were all farmers, Jobs said, but as we moved to cities and the suburbs surrounding them, nimbler vehicles became more practical. Innovations like automatic transmission and power steering made cars even more attractive. PCs and Macs, Jobs said, were going to be like trucks. They’d stick around, they just wouldn’t be for everyone. Eventually, tablets would take over.

Jobs might’ve been right about PCs, but he got the analogy wrong. Smartphones are cars. Today, tablets are looking a little more like mini-vans, or motorcycles.

Rumored iPad Pro Won’t Stop Apple’s Declining Tablet Sales

A KGI Securities analyst believes Apple might be in for a rude awakening if it thinks a larger size iPad model will stop its tablet sales from declining. In a research note to investors, Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that overall iPad shipments will "struggle to top" 45 million units in 2015 and ultimately post a 30 percent year-over-year decline.

Rumor has it Apple is working on a 12.9-inch "iPad Pro" model for release this year. But according to Kuo, upsizing the iPad won't "contribute meaningfully to shipments momentum anytime soon." Instead, he's predicting that iPad shipments in 2015 will see their biggest decline since first launching to market five years ago.
His predictions are an extension to recent trends noted in the tablet category. According to International Data Corporation (IDC), worldwide tablet shipments saw a year-over-year decline for the first time since the market's inception in 2010. IDC's report didn't say anything about the iPad Pro, though it did point out that Apple's efforts to maintain iPad momentum have fallen flat so far.

There are different theories as to why tablet sales are declining, the most common one being market saturation. The belief by many is that those who want or need a tablet already have one, and there doesn't exist a compelling reason to upgrade.

If Apple comes out with a 12.9-inch iPad model, then it would be banking on consumers being drawn to a bigger size display. Leading up to that day, however, Kuo sees iPad sales going into a free fall -- he predicts shipments will decline 52.7 percent to 10.1 million units in the first quarter of 2015, and then another 30-40 percent to between 7 million and million units in the second quarter.

5 Things You Should Know About iPad Pro – Rumors

Expectations are catching some heat after the rumors of Apple’s best tablet are showing off. To sum up all the rumors we have devised five aspects on which the iPad Pro is and hopefully will be based. There has been a steam of rumors and reports, piled up on Apple’s biggest yet best tablet to come.

The most likely rumor says that the iPad Pro will have a bigger screen than any of the other models reaching 12-Inches or more. Since its bigger, it is expected to come with a faster processor which will shook the iPad Air 2 to great extent. no one knows what goodies might Apple pack but its clearly something we have all been waiting for. The iPad Pro will beat the iPad Air 2 in pricing since it has a bigger screen and a faster processor along with the overall performance.
    Release Date For iPad Pro

Considering many rumors, the iPad Pro was suppose to be released this spring but recent reports suggest that the iPad Pro’s manufacturing would not start until September. The rumors and reports have made us all tempted of what might the gigantic iPad expose on its arrival.

The reports according to Bloomberg have slightly similar elements which suggests that the new iPad pro might be announced in September. This can be the mere truth since Apple rolls out is flagship devices in the same months – the iPhone. It may take Apple to perfect the art of manufacturing its flagship iPad but the final roll out cannot be expected to reach us till October, according to rumors unless Apple has a different plan in action.
    Pricing The iPad Pro

The price of the screen as big as the iPad Pro is still unexposed as consumers and reviewers do not have the slightest bit of clue what tablets of this size cost. The major speculations that caught our attention is that the iPad Pro would be priced more than that of its predecessor, the iPad Air 2 which is currently priced at $500 for the base level model. Hence, it would be logical to suggest that the iPad Pro will cost more than this, maybe up to $700. This would ensure us that the iPad Pro comes with a bigger display, a powerful processor along with a hefty price.

    The iPad Pro Design

The only aspect of the iPad Pro which is heavily rumored is it’s design which we can all gloss over for some respected insight. According to rumors, the iPad Pro could be as thin as 7mm but not as thin as its close cousin, the iPad Air 2 which is a mere 6.1mm thin. The best part of all the rumors is the addition of two more speakers at the head of the iPad Pro which by word are being called the stereo speakers.

Apple has chosen a new strategy to market its upcoming iPad. From all the images and rumors, the iPad is shown standing upright rather than giving a landscape appearance. Its feels good to know that Apple has changed a bit of its course and provided something new which can also turn out to be something big for Apple as well.
    Accessories For The iPad Pro

It can be speculated that iPad Pro could be coming with its own stylus for a change. Even though there may be numerous styli present out there in the market, manufactured by third party sources, Apple could be working to make its own Stylus which would have features that no other tech giant have guessed upon. This would undoubtedly make it the best stylus on the block.
The patents that Apple put to sign in the USPTO suggests that Apple’s stylus has some guts and features to show. This includes hover feature which will allow users to interact with their device without the need to tap it just like present on those of Samsung devices. The stylus would also behold gesture recognition and other sensors for other tasks that might make work more fun.

Although, the late Steve Jobs suggested a Stylus to be a bad idea but changing demands have the tendency to manufacture innovations. The stylus for the iPad Pro will be a useful tool for educational purposes as well as professional use. Users will be intrigued to use a stylus instead of a keyboard that might promote growth for the iPad Pro. These stylus reports go on to tell the same tale as told by the KGI Securities analyst, Ming Chi Kuo. he said that Apple may include a stylus with its iPad Pro to benefit the 12-Inch screen.
    Features Of The iPad Pro

For all that we know now, the iPad Pro is coming with a boat-load of features that other iPads lack. One such feature is the aforementioned stereo speakers that will go big considering the size of the iPad Pro. However, some rumors also claim that Apple might add a USB 3.0 to its iPad for connecting a Mouse and a Keyboard. If this is true than Apple can call it’s iPad a hybrid of the computer and a tablet. One can have difficulty admitting this rumor since Apple has always used Blutooth to connect external input devices like the Mouse and Keyboard, so it seems a bit odd.

Although an additional USB port could also give an edge to the iPad Pro in comparison to other series. The iPad Pro could be like the Surface Pro with a premium look and an expensive feel. However, whatever Apple has in mind must be insanely great since it makes its gadgets for the consumer and their desire for professionalism or entertainment. Stay with us on more of this and let us know what you guys think about this iPad Pro. Will it leave a mark? Let us know in the comments below.

The iPad Pro To Come With Not One But Four Speakers In Latest Leak

With Apple having cleaned its hands off of the Apple Watch and MacBook upgrades, the Cupertino company should now have plenty of time and resources to focus on its largest iPad to date – the oft-rumored iPad Pro. The iPad Pro is turning out to be Apple’s first serious take on tablets for the educational and enterprise sectors, but looks like the Cupertino manufacturer known for its attention to the details has much more than that in mind for the tablet.

More iPad Pro Renders Highlight How Apple Has Work And Play Both On Mind

While its given that Apple’s larger tablet will be featuring a processor upgrade, given particularly Samsung and other manufacturers pushing hard for SoC improvements, today’s news focuses more on how Apple is giving focus toward’s the iPad Pro’s multimedia capabilities as well. Renders posted by teamUbuntu showcasing the upcoming iPad’s protective shell end up providing us a better look and understanding of the aesthetics to be expected from Apple’s tablet.

Starting from the speakers, the iPad Pro will be coming with four speakers, both at the top and bottom of the device. This should end up giving the device some very good multimedia capabilities and stands in line with earlier reports that Apple might be pushing for surround sound on its device. In addition, features such as camera on the top right corner and the volume up and down buttons can also be seen on the renders posted above. When it comes to the iPad Pro, one thing’s for sure. To stay at par, or to gain a lead on the competition, Apple needs to brew up some serious processor magic this time around as we’ve been seeing impressive improvements in mobile chipsets these days. Specifications expected for the iPad Pro include 2 GB of RAM, display resolution of 2K, TouchID and a hefty battery of 11000 mAh. All of this is also expected to max out at a thickness of only 7mm, so lets see how Apple manages to deliver on larger screened tablets. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated and let us know what you think in the comments section.

iPad Pro Case Shows a USB-C Port on the Side of the Tablet and 4 Stereo Cutouts

Apple is rumored to finally release its long-talked-about larger iPad Pro tablet this fall. There were speculations in the industry that Apple might have trashed the idea of a bigger iPad after the launch of 12 inch MacBook. However, a new leak suggests that the product might still be in the working. This latest leak showcases some leaked iPad Pro cases highlighting the tablet’s size and other important features.

    Leaked iPad Pro details:

The leaked iPad Pro cases suggest that the device will be measuring around 12.2 inches and 12.9 inches with a design language very similar to other iPad models. These details and cases come through a source of Sonny Dickson who has managed to get these cases and components of iOS devices.
The iPad Pro’s design will be very similar to the iPad Air, including an ultra thin casing and thin bezels. Unlike the iPad Air, the iPad Pro may measure 7mm, which is slightly thicker than the iPad Air but thinner than the iPhone 6 Plus.
In addition to the size estimation, the latest leaked iPad Pro details also share about a number of other important features.

    • Apple iPad Pro will have four stereo speakers: case shows four speaker cutouts with two along the top and other two along the bottom edge.
    • Larger iPad will have dual connection ports: along with the regular Lightning port at the bottom of the device, another cutout for a port on the side of the device is visible.

Apple might fit in a USB-C port at this side slot considering the latest design theme that Apple has started to employ. This port on the side will enable a user to plug in keyboards, hard drives, printers, and other accessories to make better use of the larger screen tablet as this tablet intends to replace a laptop.
Apple’s iPad Pro will be one of the lightest tablets in its size category sporting all the necessary features required out of a gadget to fully replace a laptop. Apple is rumored to support split-screen multitasking in this tablet to get better use of the screen real estate. As far as this particular leaked iPad Pro cases thread is considered, customary pinch of salt is recommended.

Latest iPad Pro Leak Confirms a Huge Tablet – Launch in December

A new Apple iPad Pro render suggests the upcoming tablet would be a 12.9-inch behemoth but with the thinnest form factor and a single USB-C port.

iPad Pro render shares tablet’s dimensions:

The latest iPad Pro render comes through @onleaks who keeps quite a strong track record of being on point when it comes to leaks. While we can never be sure of such leaks, this year’s multitude of similar other bits and pieces have indicated toward a similar device.
This iPad Pro render mentions a the biggest tablet screen that has come from Apple as yet. At 12.9-inch, iPad Pro carries the dimensions: 9.17 x 12 x 0.28in (or 223 x 306 x 7.2mm). As mentioned in an earlier report as well, Apple’s largest iPad Pro will give the users an option to switch to the tablet from a laptop for good. Cupertino based tech company has made other moves in this regard including the development and sales of the new 12-inch MacBook.
With the similar-sized iPad Pro, users will have both the options to either go for the Mac version or the tablet version with no more the need to carry both. Both being the lightest options, portability is kept as the primary focus in these gadgets.

The latest iPad Pro blueprint also confirms the four speakers at the bottom and the top edges. Other key design features remain intact. Earlier rumors claimed Apple will fit an A8X processing chip inside the tablet, but it could very well be an A9 chip.
Earlier, iPad Pro case shows four cutouts for speakers and a USB-C port

The upcoming iPad Pro is said to be released in December 2015 according to @onleaks; add in a couple of months before and after as launch dates usually don’t get a proper hit until we are very close to the dates.
Let’s see if this MacBook kind of tablet helps Apple keep the tablets alive in the market.

iPad Pro rumors heat back up, leading with a 12.9-inch display

We've been hearing iPad Pro rumors for quite a while now, but the latest leak has Apple providing a 12.9-inch display in its 'more professional' iPad. We could see the iPad Pro with a display somewhere between 12.5 and 12.9 inches.

The new iPad Pro would have Apple targeting professionals, who want a more serious slate from Apple, with stereo speakers, too. So not only would professionals gain from the larger display, but iPad enthusiasts would have something to consider with the larger display and stereo speakers on the iPad Pro.

The latest mock up (in the video above) shows four ports on the iPad Pro. We don't know what all of these could be, and they could change as this is just a mock up, but we should expect Apple to unveil a new iPad, as well as the iPad Pro, later this year.

iPad Plus to Feature A9 Chip, USB-C Port, Force Touch, and Its Very Own Stylus

A lot of focus has been shifted towards Apple’s rumored 12.9-inch iPad Plus (aka iPad Pro) in the last two weeks. The tablet has been long coming from Cupertino tech giant, however, we still haven’t seen any strong insider leak supporting the thought that the device is still under development. Regardless, we are always on the look out for what new features is Apple going to fit inside its upcoming products and this latest leak talks about just that. iPad Plus is reportedly getting its very own Stylus, USB-C port, and Force Touch tech among various other features.

iPad Plus to feature NFC, FT, stylus and more:

Latest iPad Pro leak confirms the earlier rumor that the first ever iPad Pro will have a 12.9-inch screen size. Following the release of 12-inch MacBook and Apple Watch, it was expected that Apple would try some of the new features introduced in MacBook and the Watch in the upcoming gadgets.
This latest leak picks up the same road and claims that Apple will feature Force Touch tech in the display of the tablet. Force Touch technology used in Apple Watch measures the pressure levels of taps to identify different commands.

iPad Plus leak also claims that the largest tablet from Apple will also feature the USB-C port. This actually resonates with an earlier leaked iPad Plus image which had shared a USB Type C port in the upcoming iPad Plus case. Earlier leak had also claimed that unlike the new MacBook where the USB-C is the only port, iPad Plus will actually have the Type C USB port along with the second, regular Lightning connection at the bottom of the tablet.
Another feature talked about in this latest iPad Plus leak is the use of an NFC chip. This chip will allow businesses to use this tablet as a POS terminal coupled with Apple Pay. iPad Pro is also expected to be released with a pressure-sensitive stylus which will add in the convenience of using a larger tablet for education and / or business purposes.
Here is a list of features so far rumored to be flaunted by upcoming iPad Plus or iPad Pro:

    • Improved A9 processing chip
    • 12.9-inch display size (dimensions: 223mm x 306mm x 7.2mm)
    • NFC chip
    • Stylus for pressure-sensitive input connected via Bluetooth to the slate
    • Quad speaker system
    • Optional QWERTY keyboard
    • Ultra fast charging
    • Naming possibilities: iPad Pro or iPad Plus

Apple’s iPad Pro To Come With Sharp And Samsung Display By End Of 2015

With the increasing amount of iPhone 6S rumors and leaks surfacing over the past couple of days, another Apple device that has bee rumored to be under the works for quite a while has been nearly forgotten. Given the increasing trend for larger screened devices in the gadget market, Apple’s been rumored for a long while to be working on a larger screened iPad, dubbed as the iPad Pro for the time being. And today we’ve managed to get our hands on some more information surrounding Apple’s larger tablet, which suggests that things have finally started to move forward in iPad territory.

Sharp And Samsung To Reportedly Supply Display Panels For The iPad Pro

Word straight out of Taiwan now suggests that Apple’s finally gotten around to choosing display suppliers for the iPad Pro. According to Technews, Sharp will be Cupertino’s primary supplier for display panels on the iPad, with Samsung coming in second place. When it come to display panels for the iPad, Apple has been hard at work it seems, with suppliers already having provided the company sample display panels in June.

Out of these. Sharp’s display panels seem to meet Apple’s standards, as the Japanese manufacturer will be Apple’s primary display partner. Apple and Sharp have already partnered for several devices in the past and this relationship is looking to continue with today’s developments. Second in line is Korean electronics giant Samsung, which will be Apple’s secondary display partner. Samsung will start supplying Apple with the relevant components in September, so we should be expecting the iPad Pro to come after the Cupertino tech manufacturer is done with its iPhone 6S launches for 2015.
The iPad Pro has been in the rumor mill for quite a while and we should be expecting the device to be with us sometime at the end of this year, or early 2016 by the latest. The 12 inch Apple tablet is expected to come with several features on board, including a stylus and stereo speakers. Stay tuned and let us know what you think in the comments section below.
