iOS 8.4 Jailbreak Achieved By Leading Security Expert

An iOS 8.4 jailbreak would be the perfect tonic right now after the recent struggle for progress, and one experienced security expert has delivered exactly that in a new proof-of-concept video released over the weekend.

i0n1c, real name Stefan Esser, has long toyed with the vast majority of the jailbreak scene in showcasing exploits and jailbreaks without releasing them. For this, he does get quite a bit of flak, but since he’s under absolutely no obligation to share is work, it should simply be applauded that he’s found a way to breach iOS 8.4 beta 1.
In fact, having shown Cydia up and running on iOS 8.4, it should be regarded as a huge win for jailbreak hackers and users alike. After all, Apple stemmed the rampant tide of public-level jailbreaks with iOS 8.1.3, and since then, has been tightening up security with iOS 8.2, and the latest iOS 8.3. But what Esser has demonstrated is that iOS 8.4 is not infallible, and while the chances of him releasing a tool to the end user at any point are, at best, slim-to-none, he has paved the way for another talented individual or group to try and crack Apple’s safe.
For the past couple of months, things have been looking very bleak indeed. Some had hoped that TaiG would be able to master iOS 8.2, but it wasn’t to be, and with Apple having dished out dozens of security improvements with iOS 8.3, it seemed that all hope was lost. But the jailbreak tide ebbs and flows, and just when the door appears immovable, somebody comes through with a glimmer of hope.
Speaking on the proof-of-concept clip, which can be seen at the bottom of this article, i0nic had this to say:

Today I am delighted to share this video of a proof of concept iOS 8.4-beta 1 jailbreak that I was working on the last 4 days . . . The major vulnerability used in here was found right after the SyScan 2015 security conference when I was relaxing in Singapore from several weeks of training and conferences.
There will, without doubt, be a wave of pressure and angst towards i0n1c to release this jailbreak, but in all fairness, it’s nothing he hasn’t dealt with before. Having had plenty of run-ins with other key figures in the jailbreak scene before, he has the air of a guy who knows how to handle himself, adding:
Of course this video will trigger haters all over the jailbreaking scene that for some reason believe they can decide what a person is allowed to do or not do with their work. Haters gonna hate. So just ignore the haters and never let them tell you what you have to do. In that regard never let anyone bully you and stop you from showing your own hard work. Peace!
So, those hoping for an iOS 8.4 jailbreak from i0n1c will probably waiting a while for their wish to be granted, but his commendable efforts have shown the way. Let’s just hope that somebody else with the knowledge and skills, like TaiG or Pangu, can break through and keep the jailbreak dream of iOS 8 users alive.

IOS flaw means you can kill all Apples in a wifi area

Apple does the rest of the world a favour

The brilliant, super-cool security experts at Apple have installed a feature in the iOS which turns off all Apple gear within a wi-fi radius.

We assume that it is not a mistake, as nothing ever comes out of Apple which is not perfect and everyone knows that Apple's security is the best in the world.
What the latest super cool Apple feature does is lets attackers force iPhones and iPads into restart loops, repeatedly crashing and rebooting, using nothing but aWi-Fi network.
Of course Apple has kept such a super feature secret, otherwise non-Apple users will be able to switch off iPhone and iPad users and wipe the smug look off their faces. After all there is nothing more amusing that watching an Apple fanboys's face when he is trying to thrust his iPhone in your face when you tell him it appears to be rebooting all the time.
Security researchers Skycure, who found the feature, called it a "no iOS Zone", there's no way to fix their phone other than escaping the range of the malicious network; every time it reboots, it crashes almost immediately.
The basis of the attack uses a "specially crafted SSL certificate", typically used to ensure a secure connection, to trigger a bug in the operating system that crashes out any app using SSL.
"With our finding, we rushed to create a script that exploits the bug over a network interface," the researchers wrote. "As SSL is a security best practice and is utilized in almost all apps in the Apple app store, the attack surface is very wide. We knew that any delay in patching the vulnerability could lead to a serious business impact: an organized denial of service (DoS) attack can lead to big losses."
Once again the superior security experts at Apple have beaten Microsoft to a feature it does not have. We expect that Windows 10 will have to copy the feature just to stay in the marketplace.
The researchers say they have warned Apple of the error, but so far Apple have not replied. Apparently they fail to understand the concept of Apple making an error without a divine purpose.

Apple stops iOS 8.2 code signing, prevents downgrades from iOS 8.3

Apple has stopped signing the code for iOS 8.2, meaning that anyone wanting to downgrade from iOS 8.3 through iTunes will no longer be able to do so, accounts indicated on Monday.

The change was pointed out by various developers on Twitter such as Steve Troughton-Smith. Apple regularly stops signing older versions of iOS once there are no longer any worries about an update causing major security or functional problems.
People with jailbroken devices must now be especially careful about avoiding updates to iOS 8.3, as it will return a device to factory settings without a means of undoing the process.
iOS 8.3 was released nearly a month ago with a variety of features and interface tweaks, including wireless CarPlay support, more emoji characters, and extra accents and languages for Siri. Perhaps the biggest focus, though, was on bug fixes and performance improvements, which numbered in the dozens.
Apple has already released two betas of iOS 8.4, which incorporates a radically redesigned Music app with components like a persistent MiniPlayer. There’s no indication of when it will reach the public, but it will presumably be finished by the time Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference arrives on June 8.

iOS 8.4 Key Details, Apple Music And Release Time Frame

With every passing hour, the time for change is nearing in. Apple is said to host WWDC 2015 on stage from 8th to 12th June which will route the road map for iOS and OS X. Many silhouetted rumors, speculations and leaks have shaped the iOS 9 and its features but the final receipt lies with Apple which will be showcased on the event.

It is anticipated that Apple will uncover its Music Streaming app in iOS 9, however it might be launched before the final release. What we mean to say is that Apple Music might make a debut in late June in the form of an update, expected to be the iOS 8.4. If Apple can pull off Apple Music App than it will cover one of the most important aspect in its ecosystem which will go a long way.
iOS 8.4 To Feature Apple Music Alongside The Revamped iTunes Radio

The iOS 9 shift will be completely packed with integrated features with some designed specifically for the iPad like the split screen mode and the multi user mode. Its Apple’s hard work over the iOS platform that will enable the company to retain iPad sales that have been going down for quite a while now. Apple wanted the Apple Music application to be delivered to users after the WWDC event and henceforth the need for an iOS 8.4 update.

Apple seems to be in a hurry to deliver its Music App to users as soon as possible. As some users might speculate the Apple Music service will be restricted to the U.S market for a specific time period, however that may not be the case. The service will not be U.S exclusive but will be available to regions where its service and Apple’s authority is present. Hence, a hefty list of countries will host Apple’s music service that includes U.K, Canada as well as Russia.

Along With Apple Music, there lies its distant cousin, the iTunes Radio App which will be redesigned as well. The iTunes Radio App will also be available in the same list of countries where Apple’s Music Streaming Service will be launched. As of the charge, the Music App will have a subscription fee of $9.99 per month. The App is will said to run devices that support iOS 8.4, Macs as well as PCs. Apart from this, the Music Streaming Service will also work on Android platform judging by a blog post. It looks like Apple is considering taking over the music streaming market if things workout in favor. This is it for now folks. Share your thoughts regarding the update in the comments section below.

How Hackers Can Get Your Passwords Using iOS Mail Pop-Ups

Apple has just fixed the annoying iOS Messages bug with the latest iOS 8.4 beta release. However, another iOS bug has appeared which, if the source is to be believed, Apple is aware of and hasn’t done anything about.

Apple fixes Messages bug – iOS Mail bug arrives:

Last month saw a simple text string crashing iOS Messages apps, sometimes rebooting the device and other times preventing the user from opening the app. Apple has reportedly patched the aforementioned iOS Messages crashing bug with iOS 8.4 Beta 4.
However, it is another bug that is taking some deserved attention today thanks to a security researcher. Jan Soucek has published an iOS Mail bug on GitHub which is more critical than just a device or app crash. This iOS-based bug enables hackers to steal passwords through Mail pop-ups that look like iCloud prompts giving a genuine look to it.
An email message is delivered to the target enabling loading of HTML content which then allows hacker to prompt user asking for their password or any other such sensitive information. Giving the Apple-ish look of the prompt, there’s a high chance of a targeted victim to fall for this malicious trick.
According to Soucek, he reported the iOS Mail bug to Apple in January but the company has remained quiet over the issue.

Back in January 2015 I stumbled upon a bug in iOS’s mail client, resulting in HTML tag in e-mail messages not being ignored. This bug allows remote HTML content to be loaded, replacing the content of the original e-mail message. JavaScript is disabled in this UIWebView, but it is still possible to build a functional password “collector” using simple HTML and CSS.
His latest attempt of publishing the bug Mail.app inject kit on GitHub might gain some awareness pushing Apple to take some action, security specialist hopes. Here’s the proof-of-concept video of iOS Mail bug.

AIDA64 iOS and Windows Phone Editions Released

The following press release can be found here. You can also download the iOS and WindowsPhone versions of AIDA64.
FinalWire released the smartphone edition of its leading system information utility, AIDA64 for iOS and Windows Phone. With the new apps, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch owners as well as users of Windows-based phones and tablets can get accurate information about the hardware that powers their devices. The GUI of the freely available apps uses the design language of the platform to ensure that users feel at home when navigating the graphical user interface.

AIDA64 turns 20 and releases two new editions on the iOS and Windows Phone platform

“These applications complete the AIDA64 mobile portfolio, and we do hope that the utility will be just as popular on iOS and Windows Phone as on Android. The Android app has been downloaded more than 160,000 times since its release early March”, commented Tamás Miklós, lead developer at FinalWire. “It was exactly 20 years ago this month that we started the development of AIDA64, and we have come a long way since the DOS-only first edition. Just like in the past two decades, we will continue to do our best to follow hardware technology innovations and to provide the most accurate hardware and software information to our users.”
The freely downloadable iOS and Windows Phone apps are made available on the 20th anniversary of AIDA64. The development of the first predecessor of the utility, which has since become a quasi standard in system information and diagnostics, started in June 1995. Running on DOS, the program then called ASMDemo provided basic information about the PC’s hardware and software environment and became publicly available in 1996.
The iOS app, which requires iOS 7.0 or later, can be downloaded from the App Store for free. The Windows Phone version, which can be installed on Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile Preview, is also freely available in the Windows Phone Store. Currently, both apps have an English user interface. FinalWire plans to update the Windows Phone app to UWP (Universal Windows Platform) in the second half of 2015, which will allow a single app to run on all Windows devices, including Windows 10 based PCs, smartphones, tablets, Xbox and even the HoloLens.

Critical Zero-day Security Flaws in iOS and OS X – Apple Silent for 6 Months

Researchers have revealed critical zero-day security holes in both the Apple’s iOS and OS X operating systems. These Apple zero-day flaws, according to six researchers, allow a malicious app to steal passwords from Apple’s Keychain, bypass App Store security to enable attackers steal passwords from any installed app including Apple’s native apps – without even being detected.

Apple zero-day flaws – Why is Apple silent?

Indiana University and Georgia Institute of Technology had discovered these critical Apple zero-day flaws some months back in October last year and after waiting for over 6 months for Cupertino’s tech giant to patch things up, research team has published the details of the research. According to the research team, Apple said that it understood the critical nature of flaws and also requested an advance copy of the research back in February. However, it claims that the Apple zero-day flaws in iOS and OS X are still present in the very latest versions of the Apple platforms.
“Recently we discovered a set of surprising security vulnerabilities in Apple’s Mac OS and iOS that allows a malicious app to gain unauthorised access to other apps’ sensitive data such as passwords and tokens for iCloud, Mail app and all web passwords stored by Google Chrome.
Our malicious apps successfully went through Apple’s vetting process and was published on Apple’s Mac app store and iOS app store.”
    The team was able to,

    • crack the keychain service that is used to store passwords and other sensitive credentials for Apple apps
    • sandbox containers on OS X
    • discover weaknesses within the inter-app communication mechanism on iOS and OS X
    • used those weaknesses to steal confidential data

They managed to steal this data from a variety of apps including Facebook, Evernote, photos from WeChat, and other such “high-profile” apps. This research team was also able to get banking credentials from Google Chrome on the very latest OS X 10.10.3 using a sandboxed app to steal keychain and iCloud tokens.

According to the Register, Google was more responsive to the security loophole as Chromium security team removed Keynote integration for Chrome. It also noted that the security issue could “not be solved at the application level.”
As quite apparent, the results of such critical zero-day security loopholes would be no less than a disaster for users,
The consequences of such attacks are devastating, leading to complete disclosure of the most sensitive user information (e.g., passwords) to a malicious app even when it is sandboxed.
    What to do right now?
Everyone should start pushing Apple for releasing fixes to these Apple zero-day flaws in OS X and iOS. It is very odd of Apple to not have heeded to this research team and send patches before the paper was published.
The best thing you could do right now is to stop storing your passwords in any browsers or password managers like Keychain.

iOS 8.4 Golden Master Releasing Today – iOS 9 Beta 2 Also Expected

A new report citing a “trusted source” claims that Apple is going to release the second iOS 9 Beta later today. It further says that Apple is also expected to release iOS 8.4 GM build today too.

Download iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 El Capitan Wallpapers

    iOS 8.4 GM release:

Report from BGR shares that Apple is confirmed to release the golden master build of iOS 8.4. iOS 9 Beta 2 is also expected but could move to next Monday, on 29th of this month.
“Apple is currently planning on releasing iOS 8.4 GM today. iOS 9 beta 2 is also scheduled for release today, though it’s possible they could move it to next Monday, the 29th.”
Two week’s interval between updates is a standard for beta releases, with some exceptions in the past. iOS 9 was released by Apple at the WWDC 2015 keynote. The OS brings many new features including multitasking for the iPad, new Notes app, News app, and more such updates to various apps and features.

The schedule seems likely to be followed considering previous iterations of iOS releases, however, BGR has a mixed track of sharing these reports. Take this bit with a little salt too.
iOS 8.4 final release is expected to come later this month with Apple Music and other features. Apple Music streaming service officially launches on June 30 and would be running on iOS 8.4. It is expected that Apple will release final iOS 8.4 for public before or on the same day of Apple Music launch.

A Little Too Much? Downgrade To iOS 8.3 From iOS 9 With Ease

Apple’s iOS 9 launch at WWDC took the operating system to an all new, much needed platform. iOS 9 introduced several features that users have been clamoring for quite a while. These include an all new Transit option for Maps that will now allow you navigate the public transport space more effectively. Multitasking for the iPad has also made it to iOS, in the form of Split Over for the iPad Air 2. And Siri gets an all new interface coupled with several upgrades that will make your life a lot easier. So if you’ve upgraded from iOS 8.3 to Apple’s iOS 9 beta, we don’t blame you. The operating system has a lot to offer. But beta versions generally come with their fair share of bugs and if you’re looking to downgrade, then you’ve come to the right place.

Downgrade To iOS 8.3 From iOS 9 In A Couple Of Quick And Easy Steps

To start downgrading, the first thing that you’re going to have to do is put your iOS device into recovery mode. Keep in mind that for this to work, you should have already created a back up of your device that would allow you to downgrade to iOS 8.3 with ease. So after you’ve turned your device off, hold the home button while connecting your USB lightning cable to your PC. You’ll see two things happen now. First, your device will display the recovery mode logo, and second, a pop will open up in iTunes, as shown below.

Click on cancel to move on to the next step. After you have clicked cancel, you will see your device detected in iTunes with only its serial number being displayed. To proceed, click on Restore and then proceed to clicking Restore and Update in the new pop window that will open up. After a while, you’ll have both options to either restore your device from backup, or to start fresh. Use whichever suits you and voila! You have successfully downgraded to iOS 8.3 from iOS. Stay tuned and let us know what you think in the comments section.

Download TaiG 2.0 for Windows – Jailbreak iOS 8.1.3, 8.2 and iOS 8.3

Chinese hacking group TaiG has just released their famous jailbreak tool for iOS 8.3 – iOS 8.1.3 for Windows. You can now download TaiG 2.0 jailbreak for iOS 8.1.3, iOS 8.2, and iOS 8.3.

Download TaiG 2.0 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch:

TaiG 2.0 jailbreak is now available for iOS 8.1.3, iOS 8.3 and iOS 8.2. The tool is currently only available for Windows users. We are expecting to soon receive a Mac update too. It is quite an interesting timing for TaiG to release this update before iOS 8.4 Golden Master build, expected later today. Earlier, it was expected that TaiG will release the update after iOS 8.4 is released so that Apple doesn’t get any time to patch the security loopholes used in this jailbreak tool.
When you download TaiG 2.0, it will support iOS 8.1.3 to the very latest iOS 8.3 version. Considering an early release, you can expect to see some issues here and there. Users all around had nearly given up hope altogether, when folks over at TaiG finally came up with a solution for all of their woes. iOS 8.3’s jailbreak is live finally, though only for Mac users right now. For users that have already been through the process, we’ve got a list of tweaks for you that should run smoothly with your freshly jailbroken software. Jailbreak iOS 8.1.3 – iOS 8.3 on Mac OS X – How to

TaiG 2.0, jailbreak tool for iOS 8.3, iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.1.3, only works with Windows for now. While TaiG team is expected to release OS X version in the coming days, there is no reason why you should wait any longer for that to happen.

    Jailbreak iOS 8.3 OS X:

After months of wait, finally we saw a jailbreak tool coming for iOS 8.1.3 and later versions. The timing has been very odd as Apple was about to seed out iOS 8.4 Golden Master build. The GM build is now delayed and might incorporate patches to this latest jailbreak solution. However, this is a good time to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch as we don’t know what the future holds for iOS 8.4 jailbreaking possibilities. If you don’t have a Windows machine and are wondering how to jailbreak iOS 8.3 on OS X, here is a simple tutorial to help you jailbreak iOS 8.3 OS X.
TaiG team is of course expected to release the Mac OS X compatible tool sooner but until the Mac version comes, you will have to jailbreak using a virtual machine. Here is how.

How to jailbreak iOS 8.3 – iOS 8.1.3 using TaiG 2.0 OS X:

Required files: download Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac with its free 14 day trial. .

    • Open Parallels Desktop 10.
    • Once launched, create a new Virtual Machine. Under Free Systems, click on Windows 10 Insider Preview.
    • You will be taken through the process of downloading and installing it on your Mac virtually.

Once Windows is booted on your machine, download and install iTunes 12.0.1. As we have previously mentioned, latest version of iTunes gives many errors to some users so it’s better to go with 12.0.1.

Once you have installed iTunes, follow our step by step guide to jailbreak iPhone, iPad or iPod touch on iOS 8.3 – iOS 8.1.3.
If you get into any trouble, don’t forget to check out our extensive list of fixing TaiG errors.

[Updated] Fix TaiG 2.0 “Apple Driver has not been found”, Error 1101, 1102, and More

Yesterday we heard about Apple being ready to release iOS 8.4 Golden Master build. Of course, that only hints that public release is no far from now. As was expected earlier, hackers were only waiting for Apple to release iOS 8.4 (which is the final update before Cupertino tech giant releases iOS 9) before they could release a jailbreak solution.

With release of iOS 8.4 almost on us, TaiG team has announced TaiG 2.0 today – an iOS 8.3 – iOS 8.1.3 jailbreak tool. Here are the devices supported by this jailbreak solution followed by fixes of some errors that users are confronting while trying to jailbreak their iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:
    TaiG 2.0 supported devices:

    • iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S
    • iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2
    • iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad mini
    • iPod touch 5G

Quick fix for “Apple driver has not been found” error:

TaiG has finally released iOS 8.3 jailbreak tool for Windows to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch on iOS 8.3 – iOS 8.1.3. If you have been trying to jailbreak your device with the TaiG iOS 8.3 jailbreak, and getting an error, here is a quick fix.
Many users have been reporting receiving an “Apple driver has not been found please download and install iTunes” errors while jailbreaking their iOS device. According to sources, this issues seems to affecting Windows PCs with older and low-end video cards. However, worry not as here is a quick way to fix Apple drive has not been found error.
    – Fix “Apple Driver has not been found” error on TaiG:

    • Download iTunes 12.1.2 from here.
    • Double click on the exe file.
    • Follow the onscreen instructions to install iTunes. Don’t worry, your iTunes library will not be affected.

After installing this 64-bit iTunes 12.1.12 for Windows, you can then follow our guide to jailbreak iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch on iOS 8.3 – iOS 8.1.3 using TaiG for Windows tool.
    – Fix “stuck at 20%” or 1101 error:

By uninstalling latest version of iTunes and reinstalling an older version of iTunes, you can solve a number of other TaiG 2.0 errors. Many have reported being stuck at 20 or 30% during the jailbreak process. You can solve that issue by installing older iTunes too.

[Update]: Some users have found iTunes 12.0.1 working for them instead of 12.1.0. Here are the links:

    – Fix Error 1102:

If you get Error 1102 then you should try to limit your device’s connectivity through turning on Airplane mode and turn off Passcode and Touch ID:

    • Settings > Touch ID & Passcode.

    – TaiG Error 1103:

For Error 1103, your download file might be corrupt. Fix this by downloading TaiG again from here.
    Fix Error 1104:

If you’ve managed to get your jailbreaking process stuck at 30 – 40% then you’re encountering Error 1104. Unfortunately you might have to switch to a different Windows PC for this to resolve. You can also try switching to a different USB port.

    – TaiG 1105 (stuck at 50%):

If it’s stuck at 50%, for Error 1105, then check if Find My iPhone is turned off:

    • Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone

Also check if any antivirus or firewall program is enabled. Disable any such programs and jailbreak again. Once you have jailbroken your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, you can enable these again.
    – Error 1106 (stuck at 60%):

If your device is stuck at 60%, then you’re going to have to carry out a couple of steps.

    • Start by rebooting your device and PC both.
    • Next, run TaiG in administrator mode: right click on TaiG’s .exe file and click on Run as administrator.
    • Jailbreak again and it should work now.

    – Error installing iTunes 12.0.1 in VM:

Some users have reported getting errors when they trying to install iTunes through virtual machine (necessary step if you don’t have a Windows system).
Try reinstalling Parallels to fix this issue and install iTunes 12.0.1 again.

    – “Storage Almost Full” Error:

If you find your device reporting that storage is almost full after jailbreak, then simply run Cydia and wait for it to complete installation. This will fix issue.
    Other tips:
Here is a quick list to help you try fixing different TaiG v2 issues with simple checks.

    • Turn off Wi-Fi and turn it back off.
    • Try rebooting your iOS device.
    • Reboot your Windows.
    • Jailbreak while in Airplane mode.

If the problems still persist, then the only option left is restoring your device on iOS 8.3 and trying again. Let us know how it goes in the comments section. Don’t forget to share your own fixes to these or other TaiG errors with us.

Saurik Updates Cydia for iOS 8.3 – Fixes Device Identification Issues

Saurik has finally released an update for Cydia Installer. The latest Cydia 1.1.17 is now compatible with iOS 8.3 TaiG v2 jailbreak. This fixes the issue “cannot identify your device” which users received while trying to access Cydia using their iOS 8.1.3 – iOS 8.3 jailbroken devices.
Hot: Fix all the TaiG 2.0 iOS 8.3 – iOS 8.1.3 Errors – Quick Tips

    Version 1.1.17 Cydia iOS 8.3:

If you have jailbroken your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using TaiG’s jailbreak tool then you would get an “Essential Upgrade” popup. Make sure to install the latest Cydia iOS 8.3 v1.1.17 to make it compatible with the latest OS. This, however, still doesn’t fix the Cydia Substrate issue which was reported earlier. As shared with our readers before, Saurik has clarified that the team TaiG will have to update kernel patch to fix the issue with Substrate. Until then, don’t try to install tweaks not yet compatible as you might get into endless loop.
TaiG mentioned on their Weibo account that they would release an update to TaiG 2.0 today. We have yet to see it coming though. We would definitely update you folks once it happens as it would solve many of your troubles with choosing and installing your favorite iOS 8.3 jailbreak tweaks.
Here is the complete Cydia iOS 8.3 version 1.1.17 changelog:

Update Cydia to Support iOS 8.3
On iOS 8.3, Cydia would report that it “cannot identify your device” while trying to access your account. This was due to changes on iOS 8.3, and has been fixed.
    Support file:/// Repository URLs
Recent versions of Cydia have rejected “local” repository URLs. This was due to an overly-limited filter on acceptable URLs. You can now again use local repositories.
Stay tuned for more iOS 8.3 – iOS 8.1.3 jailbreak updates, fixes, and tweaks. As with previous years, we will soon be sharing with you an extensive list of tweaks as they get updated to the latest jailbreak version. Don’t forget to share your favorite JB tweaks and apps.
