Here’s How You Can Downgrade Unstable Jailbreak Tweaks In Cydia

Previously, we have covered about an updated version of Cydia to 1.1.23 that brought two new major updated features which were highly demanded by jailbreak users. Saurik has added a new discovery feature that shows users a list of categorized substrate based tweaks that aid in extending customization on stock iOS apps. The ‘Find Extensions For Applications’ is a very useful utility feature which is part of Cydia 1.1.23 update.

However, we’ll be talking about another feature that enables users to downgrade their jailbreak tweaks to the previous version or any version which is present in the repository. The reason this feature came up to our list is because sometimes when we upgrade tweaks, the newer version is a bit unstable and faces issues.
Downgrade Cydia Packages To A Stable Build

This is where the downgrade feature in Cydia 1.1.23 is a viable option. So if you haven’t updated your Cydia to 1.1.23 version, now is a good time. A step by step guide is provided for your assistance make sure you follow them in order. So we’re going to show you how it works.
    Step 1:
Begin by launching Cydia and open the package that you wish to be downgraded to your desired version (if its available).
    Step 2:
Now, you must tap the ‘Modify’ button located at the top right corner of the display.

    Step 3:
From a list of options that pop up, choose the downgrade one. Do take note that this option will only be part of the Modify options if the downgrade version is available. Else you will not see the option.

    Step 4:
If the tweak has downgrade-able versions in the repository, all of them will be displayed. Here is where you will select your desired version for a particular tweak. Select it.

    Step 5:
Tap confirm to start the downgrade process. Respring your iOS device once the downgrade process is complete.
That’s that everyone, you have successfully downgraded a jailbreak package to a more stable version. There are some tweaks that updates to hinder the potential performance but finally having this feature in Cydia is a positive addition. That’s it for now folks. Let us know in the comments how important is this feature for you.

Download TaiG 2.4.3 – Latest Release Fixes Several Issues

Another day, another TaiG release. TaiG team has just rolled a new version of their jailbreak tool for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

TaiG 2.4.3 released with further optimizations:

TaiG team has released a new beta TaiG jailbreak tool with an aim to optimize “the process of jailbreak.” As this is a beta version of the jailbreak tool, do not update to this if you have already successfully jailbroken your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. However, for the users who had trouble jailbreaking, this tool might work with your device.
Remember, TaiG released another beta version 2.4.2 only a couple of days before which resolved the “stuck at 30%” and “stuck at 40%” issues with the jailbreaking process. TaiG had also released another version to fix the 60% stuck issue as well. Looking at this pattern, it is believed that the latest TaiG 2.4.3 also fixes some bugs with the jailbreaking process itself including the bug fixes of earlier beta versions. Check our comprehensive guide to fix all the reported TaiG issues: Fix TaiG “Apple Driver Not Found”, 1101, 1102, 1103 and other issues
Download TaiG 2.4.3 and jailbreak iPhone, iPad and iPod touch:

Download TaiG 2.4.3 from here and then use our guides to jailbreak iPhone, iPad or iPod touch devices on Windows or Mac OS X.

You can also use Pangu iOS 8.4 to jailbreak your devices. This tool also natively supports OS X which means you won’t have to use virtual machine to jailbreak your iOS devices.

Saurik had also updated Cydia which now lets you downgrade your tweaks to previous version; here’s what the changelog said:
    Support Package Downgrades
All too often, I release a new package, and find out during the first few hours after release that there was a serious regression . Even if I pull the new version, users who upgraded do not have a way to easily downgrade.
Now, not only wil Cydia allow you to downgrade to the “current” version, but it also allows downgrading to any previous version that is available on the repository. Going forward, I will leave previous versions online for some time while users are able to sort out issues.
You can check our guide to see how to downgrade Cydia tweaks.

‘Phantom for Snapchat’ Now Lets You Fake Snapchat Location

One of the best things about using Snapchat on iOS device is that it has geo-filter feature. It adds a special overlay for Snaps that were taken at certain locations or at a special event. The fun doesn’t stop there if your iPhone or iPad is jailbroken and installed with Phantom Jailbreak tweak for Snapchat.

This is a Cydia app that allows you to use certain additional features that Snapchat app itself doesn’t have. And removes anything that may cause annoyance while you’re Snapchatting with someone. These features include taking screenshots without the other person knowing, keep the snap playing for unlimited time unless you choose to close it, send images or videos from your Photos app, and most recently, fake your Snapchat location.
I have been searching for a way to do this just to mess around with my friends on Snapchat but I couldn’t find a solution until a recent update of Phantom for Snapchat. Cokepokes just pushed out an update for his popular tweak that now let you change your Snapchat location to Paris or Hawaii even when you’re not even in those locations. In other words, you can take a quick little selfie in your room and have the geofilter say that you’re in Dubai.

Of course, you will need to jailbreak your iOS device first before getting this awesome feature for Snapchat. Once your device is jailbroken, go to Cydia and add this repo: http://cydia.cokepokes.com. Now find and install Phantom for Snapchat tweak.
Launch Snapchat app and take a picture, you will see a new button being added to the bottom of your screen along with the timer, T icon (Text) and a new spoof location icon. Simply tap for a map and hold on to your desired location. As usual, the geofilter won’t be available right away, you will have to swipe right or left on the screen to go through several filters until you find the geofilter for that specific location.

The Trojan In Free Jailbreak Tweak Can Steal Revenues Through Google’s AdMob

With every iOS update, hackers begin their quest for a jailbreak which they eventually achieve. The major reason why some users choose to jailbreak is customization beyond iOS boundaries that the stock version fails to provide. From changing visual appearance of the user interface to enhancing functionality, Cydia has been a good source for providing tweaks and packages.

However, some tweaks have functionality that extends in functionality beyond their original purpose. They may be harmful and malicious to your device and not installing them is a viable option. Recently, ‘Lock Saver’ free tweak appeared on Cydia that has some adverse effect which we will be telling you about. The tweak has been made available by ModMyi’s repo that switches off battery consuming aspects of your device while it is locked.
Lock Saver Installs Malicious Files That Can Interfere With Device Permissions

However, the device is said to contain a trojan that even exists after you remove the tweak. The trojan sticks to your Google’s AdMob and steals revenues which are generated from the host device. It also collects UDIDs and sends them to a remove server destination. When a user installs the Lock Saver, the tweak copy’s trojan files to the following destination: /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/ .

Developer Alan Kerr states that the tweak makes the directory (/Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/) writable as Service.dylib is installed at runtime. This changes the permission to 777 which initially should be 755, so in case you are infected you would have to change it back. You can change the permission using iFile if you want to halt any untrusted and unauthorized files from being installed automatically.

If you have Lock Saver installed, remove it immediately. After you do so, the free tweak leaves behind two malicious files namely, ‘Service.plist’ and ‘Service.dylib’. You will have to iFile to remove these files from the following location: /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/ . Good for us the free tweak has been removed from ModMyi’s repo and we would recommend users not to install it. This is it for now, folks. Let us know in the comments section below if your jailbroken device has been infected with the Lock Saver trojan.

CirDock Jailbreak Tweak Adds Smooth Animation And Much More To iOS Dock

Since TaiG and other group of hackers have jailbreaked the the current iOS version, users have the ability to customize their devices to their needs. Developers now and then release and update existing tweaks so users can enhance visual appearance of the iOS and add more functionality to their device with little know tweaks and packages available on Cydia.

Similarly, the dock on iOS is a landmark for the operating system but has remained quite same for a long while. CirDock is a jailbreak tweak which is designed to bestow the dock with a lustrous look and feel that provides a new way to interact with applications. The novelty feature is the animation that sets it apart from the stock iOS dock. Lets get down to a bit more details.
CirDock Extends Dock Control, Animations And Adds More Functionality

CirDock has numerous animation styles that users can choose according to their preferences. Some of the animations include the Cylinder, Cover Flow, Wheel and others that are available within the tweak. Moreover, the tweak also removes a four app limitation on the dock. This means users can now add as many apps as they want which they can interact with using the animation they choose.
More extending functionality includes the addition of three types of docks that have badge, default and favorite items. The default dock will display the stock apps and the favorite dock would carry apps favorite-d by the user. The badge dock display that carry pending notifications to be looked upon. This is an essential tweak for all jailbreakers out there.

You can switch from dock to dock by tap and hold on the dock currently displayed on the screen. The easy import and export of configuration settings allow users to carry on their setup at a different type. This is a pretty neat feature available on CirDock which uses should definitely give a swirl.
The configuration of this tweak is what we’re all familiar with – through preferences pane in the Settings. Users can add their favorite applications on the dock and choose their own dock style with a specific animation right from the Settings. You will find more options on the tweak in the settings that includes removing icon labels and badges on apps. You also have the availability add indicators on apps that run in the background.
More options to the CirDock tweak are on their way according to the developer which would host veiling and unveiling the dock automatically, swipe gestures for the dock and more. The CirDock tweak is available to jailbreakers for $1.50 which you can download from Cydia;s BigBoss Repository. Do try this amazing tweak and let us know how far does your experience go.

Feast You Eyes On Alympus, A New App Switcher Tweak

TaiG Jailbreak for the current version is here to stay and many new tweaks and packages are being released for a greater jailbreak experience. Some tweaks improve functionality while others play an awesome role in visual aids. Recently we told you guys about the CirDock jailbreak tweak that aims to add both functionality and cool animated visuals to the iOS dock. You can check out more details on CirDock.

Moving on, developers with intellect and creativeness are designing jailbreak tweaks for an experience beyond iOS boundaries. Similarly, iKyle and Surenix have developed a cool new app that gives App Switcher in iOS a complete new look. The new tweak, Alympus, developed by iKyle and designed by Surenix has been in the news for some time now. App Switcher replacement for iOS’ stock switcher is what we have in store for jailbroken users. Roll down for more details on Alympus.
A Cool App Switcher Witch Swiping And Gesture Tools

Alympus tweak for jailbreak has been in a teaser stage for a little while and recently, developer iKyle and designer Surenix have released a trailer of on Vines. We have posted the trailer below so you can grasp your eyes for a better look. Until today, there was no news for what the aforementioned developer and designer were up to. Expectations for all sorts of tweaks was viable. Whether it be a messaging tweak or any type of new theme. However, it has finally come to us and you can check the vine down below.

Needless to say, the App Switcher tweak for iOS looks sleek and quite functional. The video you see entails some interesting details about Alympus. It can be seen that you have to activate the App Switcher by swiping up from the bottom of the display. Furthermore, you can customize the size of application cards with simple pinching gestures, the same as zooming in and out of photos. You can add up to 9 app cards on the screen which makes it more productive as the switching is faster. To close an app, all you need to do is tap it and swipe it downwards. Simple as that.
The App Switcher tweak, Alympus makes switching app fast plus most of the users would definitely want it for a change. We are sure users with jailbroken iOS devices will be psyched about Alympus. However, there is no price and release date provided but we will let you know as soon as we hear it. As for now, let us know if you Alympus geeked you.

Straighten Photos In iOS Using Native Photos App – How To

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can straighten photos in iOS using the native Photos app. If you’ve ever taken an image which seems a tad bit tilted, then this simple tip will fix things in no time.

Whenever we take a photo using our iPhone or iPad, small errors are bound to be made which can go a long way in destroying what could’ve been an epic shot, and a photo which is slightly off the horizon line is one of them. But did you know that you can actually straighten up a photo right from your iPhone or iPad using the native Photos app in iOS? That’s right, you can do just that, and it’s a matter of a couple of taps and a few swipes only to pull off the aforementioned feat. Here’s how you can do it.
Straighten Photos In iOS Using Photos App

    1. Open the photo or image which you believe is slightly askew in the Photos app.
    2. Now tap on the ‘Edit’ button on the top right hand corner.

    3. You’ll see three options at the bottom of the display. Tap on the left one, which is basically meant for cropping an image.

    4. You’ll now see a new angle slider at the bottom. When you slide your finger on it, it will skew the image, changing its orientation on the fly. If the photo was taken using the iPhone’s camera itself, then iOS will straighten it up without the need for user intervention. Once you’re done aligning / straightening the image to your liking, simply tap the ‘Done’ button at the bottom right hand corner.

And that’s all there is to it. Simple wasn’t it? We’re sure you’ll agree.
If for some reason you believe that you have made unneeded changes, then simply open the image once again in the Photos app, tap on ‘Edit’ at the top right hand corner, then tap on ‘Revert’ on the bottom left, subsequently tapping on ‘Revert to Original.’ This will undo all changes that you’ve made to the image, bringing it to its original form. Also do keep in mind that the Photos app in iOS makes non-destructive changes, which means you won’t lose the original image when you’re on an editing frenzy.

The Photos app in iOS 8 is a lot more powerful than many think it is. With support for third-party app extensions, native filters, there’s something in there for literally everyone. Though the Photos app is not quite ready to overshadow many of the great offerings in the App Store, but it’s catching up in a way that is miles upon miles of improvement when compared to previous revisions.

Cyte Jailbreak Tweak Manages And Cleans Cydia Package Descriptions

There are tweaks that are developed to enhance functionality or visuals that either aid in productivity or creativity. On the other hand there are tweaks that put their focus on improving other tweaks. Such type of tweaks enhances distribution and quality. Cydia is a great source for installing tweaks and packages designed for various purposes. However, you might have also noticed that the description to those tweaks and packages is mixed and sometimes gives an unclean feel.

In consideration to this, the well known and well regarded developer Majid Alfhaily is working on a tweak that cleans the package description in a neat and organized way. This makes description on tweaks and packages to look more appealing, well arranged and gives a good feel. It basically enhances the quality on Cydia. For now, the tweak is in the beta phase and users can download it by adding a source to Cydia which we will tell you guys later in the post.
Cyte Removes Ads From Repos, A Good Sign or A Bad?

Cyte can be regarded as a huge step after Cydia moved forward to the substrate extensions. Presently, this little tweak cleans up the description of packages on Cydia but overall this tweak has a lot of potential when we talk about package depictions. This can lead to a much greater experience for jailbreak users. The tweak needs time to complete but if you must try it, you can add this repo to your Cydia source:

If you already have this tweak installed, you can see the difference in terms of previous description of tweaks and the one after installing Cyte. The text in the description is arranged in a neat style as you can see in the screenshots provided.

You might as well know that currently Cyte only offers functionality on the BigBoss repo. While comparing the screenshots, you can also see a tiny message citing ”powered by Cyte” at the bottom of the package description. The fact that its attractive or not is a question on its own which depends upon individuals.

There is a slightly new addition of a tool or something that removes ads from the repos. This is a question that may have dual views and opinions as these ads are the source of motivation for repos for what they do. However, it’s not the final version of Cyte, maybe Majid can remove it with a census or maybe not. The ad scenario solely depends upon the reaction of various parties whether to enable it or disable it. More on this will be updated later as the news arrives. For now, try this cool tweak and let us know if you liked it.

ControlPane For iOS Puts Numerous System Toggles At Your Fingertips

There are thousands of jailbreak tweaks out there that make using iOS a tad bit better than how Apple originally intended it to be. Granted, the stock iOS experience can be rather mundane at best for some, but throw in a jailbreak tweak or two into the mix, and you’ll end up with an experience that might just surpass even your own expectations.
ControlPane for iOS tweak for jailbroken devices aims to do just that – enhance the overall user experience in such a way that makes stock iOS look years behind what it should be capable of by now. Think of Control Center supercharged beyond its capabilities, and that’s what ControlPane actually is.

Can be invoked using Activator gestures, ControlPane houses four power settings and fifteen system toggles to choose from – nineteen in total. Apart from that, there are two sliders at the bottom – one for adjusting the system volume, and one for turning the brightness up or down.
The four power settings are as follows: Power Off, Respring, Reboot, Safe Mode. It’s pretty obvious from the names what the different settings do here, and the best part about ControlPane is that you can actually replace the stock power down view with it, giving users more control over what they want on their iOS device on the software front.

On the system toggles end, you get fifteen different options to choose from, and they are as follows: Airplane Mode, Auto Brightness, Auto Lock, Bluetooth, Cellular Data, Do Not Disturb, Flashlight, Hotspot, Location Services, LTE, Ringer, Rotation Lock, Vibration, VPN and of course WiFi. At this point it should be clear that the developer behind the tweak has went all in when it comes to accessing the most used toggles on an iOS device. The list of toggles here is so extensive and well laid out that we’re pretty certain that the tweak will appeal to almost any user at any given level.
Like many other good jailbreak tweaks, ControlPane lets users customize it from a dedicated panel in the Settings app. You even have the option to turn the tweak on or off from there entirely, which is something that should be a feature in all jailbreak tweaks by now. Users even get the option to change the theme of the tweak itself, and if you’re a lefty, then you can change the orientation of the tweak that suits your need.

ControlPane costs only $0.99, which is a bargain for the amount of features that it offers, and you can grab it from the BigBoss repo, which is the default repository in Cydia until or unless you’ve opted to remove it for some reason. The tweak is compatible with an iPhone running iOS 8.x.

Alympus Tweak For iOS 8 Released, Here’s How You Can Download It

As excited as us jailbreak folks were for this mighty tweak, Alympus has finally made it to the public. Developer Kyle Howells and designer Surenix have perfected the art of design and functionality in Alympus. This jailbreak tweak has not only redesigned the entire layout of App Switching but given a completely different look and feel to many other elements for example, Control Center and an all new Music Controller.

So it seems that the developers behind Alympus have taken full advantage over iPhone’s big real estate as it is designed to show more apps and showcases a brand new music controller. Alympus has potential to carry all daily driver apps and commands and to be honest, it pours a stunning glossy feel to the overall interface. Lets get to a deeper insight for what the new jailbreak tweak has to offer.
Alympus Jailbreak Tweak Features A New App Switcher, Music Controller And Much More

Previously, Alympus was solely considered an App Switcher with random speculations showing other features. Now that its here, we can see it was much more tan just an App Switcher. The core of Alympus is the App Switcher that shows a 2 x 2 grid of app icons which is comparatively more than the stock iOS App Switcher. It can show up to 9 app icons on a single screen while further pinching gestures ample the number to 20 in the form of individual app icons. Swiping up on app icons exits the app, so simple yet elegant.

If you’re amazed just yet, wait till to hear more on functionality. The Control Center that we’re all familiar with gets pretty boring sometimes as it has been like this for quite some time. However, with Alympus you get an all new Control Center that gives you way more control with more settings integrated within it.

The music view can be accessed with a quick left-to-right swiping gesture. the music view has all the necessary features that you find in the stock Music App ranging from playback controls to album artwork. The wallpaper behind the music view gives a blurred image of the album art for the song playing. The overlay has two options, dark and light which can be set according to an individuals preferences in the settings that can be accessed by swiping up in the music view.

The toggles page can be accessed by swiping behind the music view in Alympus. The toggle page has a pile of controls and settings which are sort of a short-cut to the originals. The toggles can be rearranged with the traditional tap and hold technique but there is no clue for which toggle shows up here. The toggle page shows the exact same blurred artwork image in the background as the song being played at the background.

The Alympus interface is activated by tapping the Home Button twice but since Alympus makes use of the Activator, users can customize the gesture actions. To reveal the multi-tasking view, you have to swipe up continuously from the bottom of the screen then without removing your finger, you can smoothly move over the toggle and music page. The swipe up gesture can be customized from the Alympus settings to perform different actions and commands. Many actions are present in the settings which users can opt for their desired settings.
An overall verdict for Alympus would obviously be positive as transitions and animations are fluid. Alympus is available for download on Cydia’s BigBoss repo for only $3.99. Its a pretty cool tweak that jailbreakers should definitely give a swirl. If you guys are up for it, let us know how you liked it.

Top 5 iOS 8.x Jailbreak Tweaks You Can Download This Week

Here’s a list of the best Cydia jailbreak tweaks for iOS 8.x which you can download this week. There are a handful of tweaks to choose from to take your jailbreak experience to a whole new level.

Alympus – New Home For Apps, Music Control And Toggles

You might not know what Alympus does right away by just the name, but it’s actually pretty epic in terms of functionality. The tweak redesigns the app switcher, Control Center, and the music interface completely.
It enhances the user-experience of the app switcher by giving it a makeover with 2×2 grids and more. For music lovers, your music controls on iOS 8 will have a brand new interface along with a beefed up Control Center and system toggles.
When you want to see which apps are running in the background, instead of double pressing on the Home button, just swipe up from the bottom of your screen. This will take you to the app switcher view, giving you a glimpse of recently opened apps with different viewing styles or just the icons itself.
There’s a lot more to be discovered in the tweak, and if you want to download Alympus right away, you can grab it from the BigBoss repo in Cydia, costing $3.99.
CirDock – Supercharge The iOS Dock With Different Options

CirDock is a Barrel-like tweak for iOS, where it provides users with many different styles to customize their app icons in the Dock. Some of these include the spinning animation, wheel, and Cover Flow. In addition to that, you can also add more than 4 apps to the Dock along with switching between standard and pre-configured mode.
Ariki – Text Safely While Walking

Texting while walking or driving is one of the most dangerous things you could ever do. For drivers, there is no safe solution to do both things at the same time, however, the walking texters amongst us have a useful tweak they can utilize to make things a little less dangerous.

Ariki is a new tweak on the BigBoss repo that makes sure you’re safe when walking and texting simultaneously by letting you see the ground right through your keyboard, essentially turning it into a mini viewfinder. As we mentioned before, you can grab the tweak from the BigBoss repo in Cydia and it costs just $1.49.
WeatherPeek – A Better Way To Glance At Weather

One of the most used stock apps on iPhone is Weather. Who doesn’t want to know how hot or cold it is outside or plan for future vacations, right? Over the course of iOS releases, Apple hasn’t done much with the app in term of design or adding new features.

But with the help of WeatherPeek for iPhone, checking the current weather becomes a breeze. WeatherPeek will display your weather forecast on the lock screen, Spotlight search, and even the home screen with a simple gesture. This tweak is now available on Cydia for just $1.99 from the BigBoss repo.
Macio – Launch Activator Gestures Using Key Presses

Macio is a paid jailbreak tweak that lets you open up anything with just a hold of a letter on your keyboard. It allows you to use specific keys as an Activator event. For example, if you want to trigger the Control Center, just hold the letter “c” on the keyboard, instead of having to swipe up from the bottom of your screen.

You can purchase Macio from the BigBoss repo for just $1.99 and it’s compatible with iOS 8.
And that concludes our list for today. Be sure to check back next week for more jailbreak tweaks.

How To Better Manage Background Apps On iPhone Running iOS 8

Here’s how you can take full control of background apps on your iPhone. This process will ensure that you end up saving battery life and have full control of what’s happening behind the scenes.

Jailbreaking enhances the overall user experience of iOS which Apple provides at a stock level. You get the option to customize every bit of Cupertino’s mobile operating system according to your liking. From customizing the status bar to assigning different animations when you scroll through pages of apps, there is something for everyone in the world of jailbreaking. And now, a new tweak called ‘Watchdog Pro’ aims to take the iOS experience even further, by giving users more control of apps that live in the background.
Watchdog Pro can be aptly described as a tweak that’s a background manager at best. But we’ll dive into details of what the tweak is actually capable of doing.

Once downloaded and installed, Watchdog Pro brings forth three background behaviors: Smart Background, Prevent Suspension and Keep in Foreground. When selected, Smart Background will instantly suspends an app as soon as the Home button is pressed, this in turn, of course, will save battery life. Prevent Suspension is great as well; when you press the Home button on an app that supports native backgrounding, the app will keep on running indefinitely in the background until it’s closed manually. Lastly, the Keep in Foreground option will make sure that apps that do not support native backgrounding stay alive in the background. In short, they’ll be treated as they are still being used by the user.

These options are absolutely handy if you’re asking us. For starters, you can cleverly assign which app stays alive or is instantly suspended in the background to save battery life. Downloading or uploading content and can’t leave the app until the process is complete? No problem, Watchdog Pro is here to save the day. Want to switch between apps without worrying about data being reloaded from scratch? You’re well covered in that regard as well. The possibilities are endless if you’re asking us.
All of the options pertaining to Watchdog Pro can be configured via a dedicated panel in the native Settings app.

The Watchdog Pro tweak can be downloaded directly from Cydia under the BigBoss repo for just $2.99. What Watchdog Pro offers is absolutely brilliant and we really wish that such a thing was part of stock iOS. But with Apple being Apple, we’re certain that such a thing won’t make the cut any time soon.
If you happen to take Watchdog Pro for a spin, then do let us know when you think about it in the comments section below.

Epicenter Is A Stunning New Passcode Interface For iOS

The stock iOS passcode interface has been present for a long time, and if you are lucky enough to be jailbroken, there’s a way you can customize it, or replace it altogether. The forthcoming jailbreak tweak, Epicenter takes its inspiration from a traditional rotary telephone with numbers arranged in a circular manner. The tweak puts stunning animations over the lock screen interface which may put your mind off the boring old stock one.

Epicenter’s animated setup features a preference panel withholding an ample amount of options for customizing the lock screen. Users can customize the look and feel of the lock screen interface along with applying security settings according to their preference. Once this tweak is installed, the usual and stock iOS passcode lock screen interface is laid to rest, being replaced with a new one which Epicenter provides.
Give A New Look To Your iOS Passcode Interface With Epicenter

The moment Epicenter is installed, you will be asked to set up a passcode. This is all for the basic setup, once you do this, the lock screen will be anew. Users can tap the numbered keys or drag them one by one to the center. If the passcode is valid, the center button turns green, while it turns red for an incorrect passcode combination.
Moving towards functionality, Epicenter has a handful of options available that aids in lock screen customization. It starts with a kill switch, allowing you to toggle the tweak on or off completely. Among other options, there are two sliders in Epicenter’s settings menu, one accounts for corner radius to make squares sharp or round, while the other slider adjusts button size.

Check out the video for more details.

If you’re the type of person with sneaky friends who likes to peep over shoulders, then Epicenter has the perfect setting. You can choose your numbered buttons to appear scrambled every time, while the button location remains the same. Using this will confuse your peeper friends from stealing your passcode. The animations hold the biggest appraisal slice because transitions are smooth and it adds an overall character in the tweak.
We would totally recommend users to give this tweak a whirl once it is available to download. Epicenter will be available to download from the BigBoss repo and it’s just a matter of time when it shows up on Cydia for $1.00. As for now, let us know in the comments section what you think of the tweak.
