    Apple WWDC 2016

Apple WWDC 2016 Event Dates Revealed? [Screenshot]

Apple usually holds its annual developer conference – WWDC – in June of every year. And while WWDC 2016 is quite far off from today’s date with no official announcement from Apple itself, but the event schedule posted on Moscone’s website gives us a glimpse of when Apple will take to the stage and announce the future roadmap of its mobile and desktop software.

WWDC 2016 Will Likely Take Place Between June 13 and 17 At Moscone Center

According to scheduling information on Moscone’s website, it’s highly likely that WWDC 2016 will take place from June 13 to 17. Apart from that, the Center is booked for a “Travel Association Luncheon, a Biotechnology Industry Organization conference, an International Society for Stem Cell Research convention, and the Red Hat Summit.”

In case you’re wondering what Apple will announce at the event, then it’s highly likely that the stage will be used to announce iOS 10 and OS X 10.12 (if they end up calling it that) along with the features that the pieces of software will bring with them. It’s also likely that developers will be able to get their hands on the beta builds of the software the same day as the opening keynote, allowing them to test their apps and make them future proof.

Regarding OS X 10.12, it’s likely that Apple will toss in a good few surprises this time around as the company decided to give its desktop OS the evolutionary treatment last year with El Capitan by tossing in power user features while keeping the visual aesthetics same as the year before it. It’s unknown at this time what sort of features OS X 10.12 will bring with it, but we’ll know for sure in the days to come.
It’s highly likely that we might not end up seeing any sort of hardware announcement from Cupertino. But since we’re dealing with Apple here, therefore there’s a chance that the company might throw in a few extra surprises during the keynote to appease its long-standing followers / consumers.
As we move closer to the summer, we’re certain Apple will reveal official details regarding WWDC 2016, such as how to sign up for the conference, where to get started etc. Till then, we just have a little event schedule to go by, suggesting that WWDC 2016 will be held between June 13 and 17.
Be sure to let us know in the comments section below what you think about today’s ‘leak.’ Are you excited about WWDC 2016? And what do you expect to see at the big developer event?

Upcoming MacBook Lineup Will Feature An Extremely Thin Form Factor And Superb Build Material

Apple’s 12-inch MacBook started the trend of the Type-C USB interface and we are confident that the new port will be present in the upcoming lineup, which to some consumers’ dismay are going to sport features that might not be too enticing.

Future MacBook Lineup Expected To Be Ultra-Thin And Sport A New Build Material

Apple and its fixation with thinness is not only forcing its upcoming iPhone lineup to be ultra-thin, but this attribute is also going to be branched out to the upcoming MacBook lineup too. While being ultra-thin will have several advantages such as being extremely portable, there are more than a few trade-offs that are going to be present when they officially arrive.
The 12-inch MacBook had a seriously underpowered Intel Core M processor and no connectivity port apart from a headphone jack and a Type-C USB port. Reduced battery in comparison to the MacBook Pro models was also something that you would experience had you purchased one. With the new lineup, we certainly hope that they we do not get to see an underpowered Skylake processor. According to our previous benchmarking reports, we detailed out the performance comparison between Apple’s A9X and Intel’s processors.

We summarized that Apple might sever its dependency on Intel to such an extent that the company’s A9X SoC, the flagship chipset present in the 12.9 and 9.7-inch iPad Pro might actually be found in the upcoming MacBook lineup. However, in doing so, developers might find themselves at a wall that they are unable to scale because till now, all the software has been written for the x86 architecture, meaning that a ton of coding is going to be required for desktop applications to start running on ARM based processors.

However, such a thing is possible, if Apple is able to provide the right incentive. Apple has always been known for charging a premium price for its products, but at least for its entry machines, it could reduce the starting price tag if it chose to incorporate future SoCs in them.

Another notable change coming to the upcoming notebooks is the presence of a new hinge design, created by a metal injection holding. According to a report from Digitimes, Amphenol is the supplier of this component, and that name should not be a stranger to us, because it also made components for Microsoft’s Surface tablets.
As for the release date, it has not been specified when the tech giant intends on unveiling these, but we could be looking at WWDC 2016. Are you guys excited to see the grand unveiling of the new MacBook lineup? Tell us your thoughts right away.
