iTunes 12.3.3 Released With Syncing Support For iPhone SE And 9.7-Inch iPad Pro

Shortly after the ‘let us loop you in‘ media event, Apple released iOS 9.3, watchOS 2.2 and OS X El Capitan 10.11.4. Following the release of these updates, the Cupertino camp also released iTunes 12.3.3. The update is not at all surprising as it brings support for syncing iTunes with the recently launched 9.7-inch iPad Pro and iPhone SE. Both of these products have been launched at Apple’s March 21 media event in Cupertino, California.

iTunes 12.3.3 Released With Syncing Support For iPhone SE And Smaller iPad Pro

As exciting as we all are taking the iPhone SE and the smaller iPad Pro, Apple also unveiled new watch bands for the Apple Watch. Talking about the update, it does not have a lot to offer. You’re wrong if you’re expecting Apple to bring a new Apple Music interface. Earlier this year, Eddy Cue promised that we will see a new Apple Music interface in the coming days. However, no update has been received regarding it. Probably, later this month or in April we will see a revamped Apple Music interface with the release of the iTunes 12.4.
iTunes 12.3.3 is a minor upgrade that does not include a hefty changelog. Instead, it only focuses on bringing iTunes syncing support for the two newly released devices, the iPhone SE and the smaller iPad Pro. So if you’re planning to purchase one of these devices, you better update to iTunes 12.3.3 right away.

If you own a Mac, you can update iTunes through the Mac App Store. All you have to do is launch the App Store on your Mac and click on the ‘Updates’ tab. Once you do that, wait for the iTunes update to appear. Once it does show up, click on the ‘Update’ button next to update itself. That’s it, your iTunes will be updated. iTunes 12.3.3 has been released for both Mac and Windows. If you’re using iTunes on Windows, just open the app and if the update has arrived, you will be prompted automatically.
While neither products, the iPhone SE and smaller iPad Pro, are available for purchase yet, ready your iTunes update before hand as the orders will kick off on March 24 and retail availability will begin from March 30, which isn’t that far from today.
The iPhone SE is a small 4-inch smartphone that boasts the form factor of the iPhone 5 or 5s and houses the specs of the iPhone 6s. The iPad Pro on the other hand is the smaller version of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, featuring the same high-end A9X processor with support for Apple Pencil. Be sure to be on the look out if you’re willing to purchase one of these.
This is it for now, folks. Do you like the 4-inch screen real-estate of the iPhone SE? Will you be shifting to it? Share your thoughts in the comments.
