Sniper Elite and Zombie Army Trilogy dev Rebellion has announced Strange Brigade, a "rip-roaring" third-person co-op adventure set in the 1930s, with more than a whiff of British colonialism about it. Journeying to the "remote corners" of the British Empire, you'll encounter ancient lost civilisations, and then set about shooting them to bits.
In Strange Brigade, you can expect "treacherous" tombs and "unfathomable" foes, like bandage-clad undead mummies and ancient, mythological demons, all serving a resurrected Egyptian witch queen. As such, you'll take up arms playing as one of four dashing explorers with their own weapons, tactics and "special superhuman powers." Yes, really.
Promising "peril, mystery and derring-do," Strange Brigade will be taking you on an "exotic safari" across 1930s Egypt, for 1-4 players, when it launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A date has yet to be announced, but you'll see more Strange Brigade gameplay at E3 2017 next week.
